Loved it. There's something about Lily that I relate to and that made this book so fun, and hard at times, to read. Kaiden is everything and the way he loves her screams passion. I loved this and seeing Jason as a father! Can't wait for Peyton's story but also, I really wanna read Poppy's! She seems like somebody I would wanna be friends with.

Loved it!. Yep! I absolutely LOVED it! This isn’t your typical sports romance. Nope, this is angsty, emotionally tumultuous, heartwarming, drama, forbidden, friendship, witty banter, push and pull, opposites attract with sex that will have your toes curling. I want MORE like this! Not by way of ‘story imitation’, but because of the realistic feel of a true connection progressively being built between the two main characters. This unputdownable and delightful story completely encapsulates the madness of the first stirrings of love and lust. I was hooked from the very first page. Does this sound like it is up your alley? Read on! What a story this is! Kaiden Thatcher is tall, handsome, sexy, and a brooding alpha male that is a quarterback at his high school. LOVE!. This story is very real. Yes, it has the cute high school romance and forbidden factor but it also has real issues that people face in the world. The author did an AMAZING job depicting every detail and the story was easy to follow. Lots of supporting characters & some steamy scenes are always appreciated.

And yk how you get a book that has a very very very long boring part, thissssss book is everything but that. Every part had me sitting on the edge of me seat! THIS NEEDS TO BE A MOVIE.

Kaiden and Lily see each other and the connection between them is undeniable. When Kaiden finds out that she is the coach's daughter he knows that he should stay away but she is just too hard to resist. ⁣ This is my first L.A. Cotton book and I will be reading more of her books in the future. I am looking forward to going back and read the Rixon Raiders series and get caught up on the older generation. Lily is a strong woman and Kaiden is not your typical jock which made them the perfect couple. The connection between them sizzled off the pages. A great start to the beginning of the series and it will be interesting to see where it goes.

Y’all- this is the first time I’ve read a high school football romance that’s not from Wattpad and let me tell you- the power Kaiden has is just so- 😩 the first few chapters were sooo good I really felt Lily understood her pain and her struggles which made me love this book even moreee I love this book so much and I really recommend this book to get yourself out of a reading slump or if you are starting to read books! literally guys- READ ITTT you won’t be DISAPPOINTED
