Can’t put it down. I have never left a review for any book I’ve read but I read 1-10 of Josie Quinn series with a week and half. I love this series please don’t stop writing them. I cannot put them down they just draw you in. Also I have never cried like a baby reading a book before as I did at the ending of this book!! Can’t wait for 11!

Run out and buy this!. Breathe Your Last is the latest Josie Quinn book. I’m really drawn to this series. Josie is a no nonsense police detective. And Lisa Regan writes Josie with balance in her home life, family, friends, and work. I really connect with Josie and her team. And while Josie isn’t perfect, you root for her. From book to book you get to watch Josie grow and evolve. While there is always a little storyline floating from book to book, in this one Josie and her team are investigating why the top swimmer at the local university has drowned. Hitting a dead end with little evidence, other strange things start to happen. This book is both suspenseful and thrilling. I am not easily fooled and I was guessing up to the end. And to take this up a notch, there are chapters told from the killer’s point of view. You get a chill reading their words. You didn’t think I’d slip and spoil it did you? As with this genre you get action, thrills and twists in addition to connecting with Josie and the group of family and friends that surround her. I always look forward to a new installment and I know no matter my reading mood, I know I’ll enjoy the book. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes a good mystery.

Loved!!!!!. My Review: Wow, wow, wow this is a series you definitely don’t want to miss out on. This is the tenth book in the series and it was by far the best yet. I can’t tell you how much I love this author and this series. I do want to let you know you can read this book along with the others as a stand alone. I’ve done it and have had no problems following what is going on. This book of course featured the fabulous Detective Josie Quinn solving yet another case. This time is was a swimmer found dead in the pool. But that’s not all. As the case further progresses there are more deaths along the way. Can Josie and her team solve these cases before there are even more murders? Are all these cases linked together and how? Who would commit such a crime? You find out this and so much more by the end of the book. I want to start out by saying that I love Lisa Regans books and hope she writes so many more especially in the Josie Quinn Series. I love the way she writes every character in this series. I truly feel like I know them and I’m there with them trying to solve the crime. I’ve read quite a few books in this series and have gotten to know all of them like they were family to them. I just love that in a book where you get all invested and root for their ups and are sad for their downs. Ok, so who doesn’t love a good who done it murder case. I loved this storyline. Who doesn’t like a good mystery to solve? That ending blew me away. Not only did the author throw me for a loop on who did it but there was also so much nail biting action. I really thought I was going to have no nails left by the end of this book. There was a really special moment at the end that I loved as well. A little romance to satisfy my hunger. I was wondering what was going on with the disappearing act the whole book but it definitely came full circle in the end. Just loved it so much. Between the plot, characters and all the twists in this book it made it an easy and fast read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Brilliant, up to the usual standard of this series , highly recommended. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Engaging story, the usual characters well portrayed, I personally loved it, and look forward to the next instalment of this excellent series.

Buzzing with thrills!. This novel is absolutely buzzing with thrills from start to end! I loved the set up, and the antagonist was as scary as they get. There’s danger around every corner and it doesn’t get more life threatening. There is so much at stake throughout, I couldn’t help but hurry through it to find out who the culprit was. I also really enjoyed the romantic element. Don’t get me wrong, this book is first and foremost a crime book but the relationship between Noah and the kickass lead, Josie just heightened everything. Then there was an oh-my-goodness ending where I wanted to cover my eyes, but that’s just stupid when you’re reading. So... with one eye open, I braved the rest. ‘Breathe Your Last’ is a tightly plotted, tense, police procedural and thriller with huge lashings of action. Brilliant and bravo!

Another exciting book.. Totally riveted. Couldn’t wait to see who did it and why. All the while following Josie’s struggles.

Great series. I really enjoyed this book in the series! I smiled,laughed,groaned,cried & rolled my eyes. The plot was twisted enough not to solve early in the story but to allow the evidence/hints to allow for the reader to engage in sleuthing.

A brilliant read. What does the death of a champion swimmer and a retired firefighter have in common? For Detective Josie Quinn, this is the million dollar question and one that herself and the team will have their work cut out for them in getting the answer to… The premise for this story immediately had my attention and things are kicked into high gear right from the prologue. Lisa Regan is a force to be reckoned with and once she gets going, she just does not stop! Good luck trying to put this one down as I definitely couldn’t! The story is duel narrated, in the main through Josie, but is also interspersed with chapters from the killer, who’s twisted mind gives you chills. There were many times where my nerves were on edge, wondering what their next move was going to be. What I also loved, it was never obvious to me their identity, which made for a more satisfying reveal once exposed. Josie Quinn’s tenaciousness in trying to solve crimes is second to none and this has not changed in this book, but Lisa Regan does give the reader more of her vulnerable side this time around, which makes her even more relatable and believable. Lisa Regan’s skills and talent just shine through the pages of this book and she is such an exciting voice in the crime thriller genre. I am so glad that I have now been exposed to her work and she has fast become another author to add to my list of favourites. Breathe Your Last is only my second read from the Detective Josie Quinn series and is another outstanding piece of work. Full of twists and turns it will have you enthralled from the beginning and that ending… I can’t wait to see where the series will go next. It was a pleasure to read and review Breathe Your Last which I highly recommend.
