Page Turner. Great suspense great story

Great read!. So nice to read something positive and encouraging about more mature (older) characters especially women. Loved the physical descriptions of Whispering Pines and exotic Fiji along with the developing love story. Can’t wait to read more about Aunt Celia’s legacy!

😊. I really enjoyed this book. I read it in just a few days as I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

Renee’s midlife crisis. I liked Renee immediately and loved that she was a mature, intelligent woman. I also liked the other characters in the novel; but I thought the book was too long. There was too much detail about the remodeling of the property. And I would have liked more about the family dynamic instead, including more about aunt Cecile. And does every author have to have steamy sex scenes to hold the reader’s attention? I would like to read another book about this feisty woman, and will recommend it to my book club.

Enjoyed the Read. Although I enjoyed the read it was a little too “sappy.” I’ll give the next book a try. CynPSam

Loved. Absolutely beautiful! I did not think I was going to get into it at first, but I fell in love. Such wonderful writing and character development!

I’m jealous.. I often look back and wish I had made different choices. Don’t we all? Enjoy. This is a great read.

Pleasant Read. Somewhat more detailed than I was comfortable with. Especially the intimate details of the main characters sex life. Otherwise, a fairly good read.

Outstanding. Truly enjoyed this story. A woman with decisions to make n her mid-life. Just enough intrigue and romance to enjoy. Loved the thought processes as Renee faces life with all its messiness.

Great easy read. Easy book to pass some time.

such long chapters.. The story started so slow. The suspense didn’t start until by the end of the book already. And I’m not sure how to feel about the romance story of this book. I gave it two stars and not one because some of the suspense parts were actually jaw dropping.

Good story. Enjoyed the story and the characters - kept me interested, but was turned off by the language. Totally gratuitous. Probably won’t read another by this author.

Whispering Pines. Too much foul language to be a good family read. Could easily have left out the love scenes. The writer seems rather talented to have such a limited vocabulary and think that her readers need the graphic descriptions of love scenes.

Lied the characters and their back stories. Web of family, friends and neighbors weaves together into a lovely quilt.

Idyllic feel good read. I enjoyed reading this, it was the sort of book that engages you but doesn’t stress you out. It’s very tidy , with neat , satisfactory endings. Delightfully predictable and easy to follow. First book I’ve finished in years, very grateful for the style of writing, moves at an even pace, perfect for me. I would suspect busy moms would love this !

Whispering Pines. I really enjoyed reading Whispering Pines. I think we all can remember childhood family vacations and have great memories from them. This is the first novel I have read of Kimberly Diede and I loved how the story flowed and moved quickly through Renee’s life and experiences. I can’t wait to read the next one. Karen
