Lucky Cowboy. What a wonderful story with just about the right amount of everything in it!!!!

Pure sweetness. Perfect country love, so happy on how it ended definitely a good book to read. Hardly could put it down.

Great start to this series. The start of this new series based in Stone Ridge, TX will touch your hearts. Sadie Stephens has come back home to be the new teacher in the townā€™s one room classroom. Sheā€™s looking forward to the children, and being back home. As to love, she was badly burned and hurt by love during college, and is skeptical of men. Except for the one sheā€™s loved half her life, Lincoln Carver. Lincoln is a rodeo cowboy , a rancher when in town and Sadieā€™s brotherā€™s best friend. Heā€™s also the brother of her best friendā€™s ex. Eva left Jackson at the altar, and Lincoln still hasnā€™t forgiven Sadie for helping Eva get away. Heā€™s also a man that doesnā€™t believe in love. Look how his mother left her family without looking back. He feels heā€™s better off with the rodeo bunnies. No strings attached. But Sadie with her sweet disposition, pulls him in , even more so when he feels responsible for the fall that leaves her unconscious. As a sort of relationship starts, so do the doubts . Family secrets are exposed, and the inability to give his heart to anyone, might end up being Lincolnā€™s greatest regret. Will these two find happiness, or will the past and circumstances keep them apart and heartbroken? The secondary characters promise to keep us entertained for many stories to come in the future. A great start to this new series. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Booksprout. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Fantastic read with all the feels!. This is book 1 in The Cowboys of Stone Ridge series and it features Sadie and Lincoln. Itā€™s sad to say that sometimes our past shapes our future and this is true for Lincoln Carver. Sadieā€™s definitely got her work cut out for her with this cowboy. She is such a pure, beautiful soul and just wants to help everyone. Lincoln, well he needs a good dose of that beautiful soul. Fantastic read with all the feels.

Lucky Cowboy. Great story from start to finish

Charming story. A fun and heartwarming story. A story that will give you all the feels. I loved the characters and flying sparks. Itā€™s an entertaining and heartfelt read.

Great series starter. Such a sweet story of love and all the trials and tribulations to get there. Love the new series and cannot wait for the next one.

Sweet, sassy, fun. Enjoyed reading

Who Will Sadie Choose?. Who will Sadie Stephens choose: the handsome visiting doctor or the rodeo cowboy rancher playboy sheā€™s been crushing on for years? Lincoln Carver is sexy and after he causes Sadie to trip and hit her head when he lassos her he starts to return some of her romantic feelings for him. That did sound like the start of a romantic comedy. Dr. Judson Grant was funny describing his life plans on his first date with Sadie. Thatā€™s probably a good way to scare a girl off. But then again he wants to get married and have a family while after having his mother leave him to care for his younger siblings Lincoln is not sure if he ever wants to settle down. Sadie was burned by her only serious boyfriend who cheated on her behind her back with her friends, so she has trust issues especially when Lincoln keeps running into one of his former flings. Sadie has a lot of patience to put up her rambunctious but sweet at times elementary students of varying ages. It made me think of one room school houses back in the day.

Lucky cowboy. Loved the book could hardly put it down to sleep. Loved the way they loved each other

Awesome beginning to this series!. After leaving her hometown of Stone Ridge, going to college to become a teacher, and working in San Antonio for a while, Sadie Stephens is enticed back home to run the very first school in the small town. Sadie has been in love with Lincoln Carver for many years so when he actually begins paying attention to her, she is over the moon. This story talks about what it is like living in a small town, it made me laugh and cry, includes plenty of romance and steam, and ends in a HEA. Very highly recommended.

Sweet love story. The story of Sadie and Lincoln is the beginning of a wonderful series that will warm your heart. . Sadie is a sweet school teacher and Lincoln, a rodeo cowboy and rancher. She had a crush on him or a while but was was reluctant to start a relationship. He was only in town temporarily and had no intention of staying put, but life happens. It was enjoyable to watch the two of them get together ( with a little manipulation from his Grandma). I would definitely recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Great start to a new series. This book was the first in a new series and I really enjoyed it. Sadie and Lincoln have basically grown up together because they live in a small town and everyone knows everything about everybody. Sadie has pretty much been in love with Lincoln most of her adult life yet Lincolnā€™s childhood has made falling in love something he is not interested in. It doesnā€™t help that Lincoln puts some blame on Sadie for her not talking her friend out of leaving his brother at the altar. Or is this just how he can hold himself at armā€™s length from Sadie, hmmm. Sadie also has a past relationship trust issue that makes her question her relationship with Lincoln, even though he hasnā€™t done anything to cause her to not trust him. Can Sadie and Lincoln work through their past issues and find happiness? I enjoyed the side characters of Eve(Sadieā€™s best friend) and Jackson(Lincolnā€™s brother) and am really looking forward to their story. This was a fun little town and their are several cowboys and some ladies I would like to see more of. Looking forward to more books in this series.

Cowboy vs Teacher. This was a fun, quick read that hit all the feels. Itā€™s a best friendā€™s little sister story. Itā€™s a long-time crush story. Itā€™s a heā€™s a love ā€˜em and leave guy, while sheā€™s a commitment and picket fence kind of girl. And yet we somehow get our HEA. Sadie comes home to small town Texas for her dream teaching job, only to fall through the termite eaten floor on the first day. She runs into Lincoln, her long-time crush, who barely gives her a polite howdy, and it just gets better from there. Weā€™ve got the gossiping-grandma-town-busybodies playing matchmaker in a town with significantly more men than women. Parents with marital issues, brothers dating women of questionable repute, and a best friend still in love with the man she left at the altar. Itā€™s a non-stop story that i really enjoyed. I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is my freely given, honest review. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

5 STAR BEGINNING TO A NEW SERIES. I loved the first book in the new Men of Stone Ridge series by Heatherly Bell. Stone Ridge, Texas is a charming small town where the eligible men greatly outnumber the eligible women. This is a second chance romance where there was really no first chance. Sadie has been in love with Lincoln since she was in high school. Lincoln thinks of Sadie as his best friendā€™s little sister. Lincoln is a rodeo cowboy who has come home to help run the family ranch. He has no interest in settling down, but his meddling grandmother has other ideas. I enjoyed this start to the new Men of Stone Ridge series. Ms. Bell has written a delightful story with engaging characters. I fell in love with Lincoln and Sadieā€™s story and I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Sweet and entertaining small town romance. A very sweet and enjoyable read. Sadie returns home after a traumatic breakup and is hired to teach at the new school. Lincoln has been working the ranch and raising his younger siblings. Even though they are on opposite sides of a small town feud, Sadie has always had a crush on Lincoln. I totally fell in love with this couple. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Lucky cowboy. I truly enjoyed the book. It kept you on your toes at times so & made you wonder on the outcome of things. L. Moore

Lucky cowboy. Oh my god ! Loved Lincoln and Sadieā€™s story ! Fun ,funny, laugh out loud.

Definitely a must read. This book that is over 600 pages will melt your heart. Itā€™s ups and downs keeps you reading until the very last page. I wasnā€™t disappointed with this read

Lucky Cowboy. Great read. Loved the story line. Glad it ended with a happy note.

Stubbornness canā€™t stop love. A wonderful story about love and putting you heart out there. Even a cowboy deserves love whether they think so or not

Lucky Cowboy. What a touching and cute story. Characters that will reach out and grab you. I couldnā€™t put it down, read it in one sitting. R. K. C.

Small town romance. This book does not disappoint Siri has loved her brothers best friend for as long as she can remember but he doesnā€™t even notice she exist she makes him notice her and when he finally does itā€™s a hot steamy romance the small town where everyone knows everyone is nice and they help you out when thereā€™s trouble I really enjoyed reading this book I look forward to more books by this author

Great characters!. I really fell for the characters in this story. They were well developed & easily identifiable. The emotion in the story took you from humiliation to the joy & passion of acknowledging that special connection. I canā€™t wait for the next story in this series.

Steamy, Emtertaining Read. This is book one in the Men of Stone Ridge series. The men outnumber the women five to one in Stone Ridge, TX. Sadie is back home in Stone Ridge to take on teaching the children of Stone Ridge. I loved Sadie and Lincoln's story. Sadie just wants someone to love and love her in return, to be faithful to her. She's been in love with Lincoln for years but he's never seemed to notice her. Lincoln doesnā€™t do love and relationships but he's noticed Sadie now and he can't seem to stay away but Sadie is a forever kind of girl and Lincoln doesn't do forever. Will Lincoln wake up before it's too late and he loses her heart forever? Steamy, well written and entertaining. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Why donā€™t you lasso Miss Sadie?. This book is just a wonderful start to the authorā€™s new series. Stone Ridge is a close-knit little town, filled with residents who truly care, and the usual amount of small town issues and gossip. I love Mima - not afraid to stick her nose where it doesnā€™t belong, when itā€™s in someoneā€™s best interest. Lincoln and Sadie have a history - he and her older brother were best friends growing up. Sheā€™s been in love with him forever, and wants more than his friendship. He doesnā€™t do forever. The story grabbed my interest at the first page, as I fell in love with this couple.

Lucky Cowboy. I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. First let me just say that this book has some hilariously funny sections! Second, I want to move to Stone Ridge!! Third, this book was one that I could read forever (I LOVE cowboys)! Fourth, there were some pretty poignant moment and meaningful life sayings sprinkled around. I adored Lincoln Carver and Sadie Stephens! Sadie has been in love with Lincoln Carver for most of her life. It has been years since Sadie drove her BFF (Eve) away from the church and leaving Eveā€™s fiancĆ© at the alter! Said fiancĆ© being Lincolnā€™s brother. I canā€™t wait to read that book! This book is written in a multiple POV format. I love that as it gives me that glimpse into the charactersā€™ thoughts. I can more fully understand the characters and their actions during a scene that way. This really helped me to better understand Sadie. Without that glimpse into Sadieā€™s thoughts, I would not have been able to figure her out. This is a sexy cowboy romance. I would definitely recommend this to anyone over the age of 18.

Lucky Cowboy. Lucky Cowboy is the first book in a new series Men of Stone Ridge from Heatherly Bell, who also happens to be a new author to me. I found Lucky Cowboy on Booksprout and I can honestly say that I completely loved it. The chemistry between the two main characters Lincoln and Sadie was so good. The plot worked very well indeed, an incredible clean romance that has you gripped from the first page until the very last. I was drawn into the story from the start. It`s brilliantly written so much so that I felt I was there too. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series, and I think I have found a new author to add to my collection. I highly recommend this book.5* I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Oh my gosh! This book was fun, funny, and a bit of an emotional roller-coaster. Sadie is fierce and loyal and loving, and those traits have gotten her in trouble on more than one occasion. To the point that sheā€™s not sure she can trust her own judgement anymore. Lincoln is strong and stoic. His motherā€™s betrayal of their family has left him unable to believe in love other than what he feels for his brother, sister, father, and grandmother. Theyā€™re both lost souls and wounded by love in their own ways. Will they find healing together or repeat the mistakes of their pasts? Oh my gosh! This book was fun, funny, and a bit of an emotional roller-coaster. With hints of a second chance romance (even though this pair were never actually a couple) and all the sweet small-town charm, this story pulled me into it and wouldnā€™t let me go. The angst this pair goes through as they try to navigate their way nearly broke my heart. I couldnā€™t help but cheer for Sadie and Lincoln to find their way. The always quirky and sometimes meddlesome supporting cast nearly ran away with the show several times. And now I think Iā€™m falling in love with the town of Stone Ridge. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

Lucky Cowboy. Lucky cowboy = Lucky reader šŸ˜‰ What a delightful story!
