Boundaries Are The Key To Healthy Relationships. Before I read this book, I’ve always felt like I was a passenger to my own life, and someone else was driving the car. A people pleaser in every sense of the word. Saying yes to everything my past girlfriends wanted, not wanting to disappoint family with certain decisions, or even wanting to be accepted by people who weren’t even benefiting me. I now see the importance of speaking up about what you’re comfortable and not comfortable doing. The proper boundaries are how you establish the relationships that are true and beneficial for you, because if someone doesn’t respect your boundaries, you don’t need a relationship with them to begin with. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has anxiety or depression also.

Not long enough. I thought that this book would be longer and more insightful.. not saying it wasn’t insightful, but I wish it went more in depth. It was definitely way too expensive for what it was. It was literally like 20 pages… finished in 20 minutes…

Easy read but so vaulable. I came across the book from hearing it on podcast and also Instagram. I loved the advice so much, very eye opening. If you know you have boundary issues or not even sure you correctly understand what a boundary is crack this book open!

Clarity. This book provided me with a lot of clarity about feelings of guilt when saying no to people. Also, that it’s okay to set and repeat your boundaries with people. This is the “two things can be true” rule everyone is talking about for me. However, you need to make one thing clear to people. Loved this book beyond words.

This Book Helped More Than 5 Years of Therapy. So much validation in a single book. It’s as if she wrote this specifically for me and it’s saying to me “you weren’t crazy for asking for what you needed” “you weren’t crazy for not being okay with what they did” “you weren’t crazy for not being okay with how you were treated” A huge mental game changer and because of this book, I know my future relationship experiences will be better than all those crappy ones in my past! 🫶🏽
