Fantastic romance!. Gemma is a new resident in Diamond Creek, Alaska. She is living in a house and taking care of the horses. Gemma is from Portland and when she was in high school on the softball team she was sexually assaulted by her coach. Other girls had been also but nothing happened to the coach. That is how Gemma ended up in Alaska. One day Gemma is riding one of the horses named Charlie when she was buckled off. Gemma chased after Charlie but she couldn’t catch him. Then along came a very handsome man on a motorcycle who helped her catch Charlie. Diego is an ex Air Force pilot who now lived in Diamond Creek. He is a pilot for a tour company. Diego saw Gemma running after her horse and stopped to help. Diego couldn’t stop thinking about Gemma. Gemma teaches yoga in town and Diego has taken classes with her. Diego asks Gemma for a date. They end up having sex. Gemma feels like her past is her fault so she is a little reserved. Gemma starts to fall for Diego and Diego is falling for Gemma. Gemma and Diego love living in Alaska. Will Gemma be able to forget about her past and live in the now? Will Diego and Gemma find love and happiness in Diamond Creek? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Good. A great story with entertaining and enjoyable characters with the chemistry and drama that will keep you reading. She comes to small town to start fresh he’s broody and is here flying planes.

Diego Jackson. Diego Jackson. Now that’s a man. Diego is a pilot who rides a motorcycle (in Alaska, not sure how practical that is year round, but it’s fiction) yet still goes to a few yoga classes. Gemma is the horse owning, yoga instructor, new in town. They have chemistry to spare. Recommend. Received from Bad Boy Update.

Love it!. Love this story! JH Croix writes a beautiful story set in Alaska in the small town of Diamond Creek with good friends that are there to support each other. Gemma a yoga teacher, is new to Diamond Creek and Diego has been attending the yoga they are attracted to each other and start seeing each other. Gemma and Diego have had trust issues in their past and need to learn to trust again. This is story is heartwarming, romantic and intense. I highly recommend reading this book and you will love it. Discovering the splendour of love. I fell in love with all the characters in this cute little small town in Alaska, the way they care for one another. You feel part of this huge eclectic family! We followed especially Diego and Gemma, her past is coming back affecting their future for the pleasure of us, readers. Having been burn with love before Diego is skittish about a relationship but it is very cute to see them tiptoe around each other while everybody else is having a word to say about it, like a real blended family. I really felt part of this family, J.H. has a way with words that take you in. Book 2 in this series, I can’t wait for the book 3 in the series about Norah and Gabriel. Come to Me. Diego is a grumpy ex-military pilot who has been living in Alaska for the past 5 years and is struggling with his haunting past. Gemma is the new sassy yoga teacher in town who is also struggling with her past. When Diego shows up to Gemma's yoga class it is an instant attraction between the two of them but due to their pasts, they both decide to take it one day at a time. When Gemma's past starts to come back to really haunt her, things get a little rocky when she has to explain. ⁣ Diego and Gemma's story is a great build from friendship to lovers and once they can no longer fight their attraction things get very good. They both balanced each other well. The book does touch on some heavier issues. The side characters did a great job of helping bring the large family vibe with their banter. I was happy when they both finally came clean about their pasts and were able to move forward to their HEA.
