Packing a powerful punch. How I love the characters in this book. Gruff Duke, damaged Boomer, hilarious Striker, Injured James, eccentric Mercy, the missing Malik, and of course Corbin, the glue who holds them all together. The author took the time to develop each one and make sure we wouldn’t forget them when the story finished. Oh, and what a fantastic story. The level and intensity of the danger and action is offset perfectly by the moments of laughter and Mercy’s unending questions. This series continues to be one of my favorites and this book is near of my favorite folder. I don’t care which character gets their HEA next, I just know I can’t wait to read all about it.

Great. Loved this book

Act of Mercy. Mercy works for Donavon Dynamics Corporation and is the most innovative biomedical engineer. Her IQ is off the charts which caused her to never fit in when she was younger. She realized too late that The Corporation was into some really bad things and was a front for the evil men in charge. Her medial degree was a bonus for them to lure her in to take the job. Duke is a wolf shifter who has lived for hundreds of years. He hates everything especially technology. He gets a strange call working late one night and the voice makes his body respond to it. His teammates give him a hard time about not wanting to deal with technology but they would die for each other. This was well written, has great characters and storyline that kept me intrigued. I will definitely read the next book in the series to find out what will happen next with these shifters. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great spin off series start. This was a great start for a spin off of the Immortal Ops Series! Ms. Roth has succeeded where others have failed, and that is to create a world that is fun, action packed and semi-believable. Duke is a alpha male werewolf that hates everything, while Mercy is a scientist that was unaware how deep she was into this world. As with the Immortal Ops series, this book not only gave the story of Duke and Mercy, it gave a glimpse into the other Ops agents as well. i have already read Acts of Surrender and know the series only gets better

Loved it!. This definitely goes down as one of my favorites! I stayed up all night to finish it and don’t have a single regret.

Love this book. Duke is one of my favorite characters with his hatred of everything. Found his issues with the computer hilarious. His thoughts on planes crashing is funny. Love how the guys protected Jimmy even though he didn’t leave on the best of terms. Love how out there Mercy was . I think it’s funny how long it took her to realize Duke was holding a gun.

Eh… it’s ok. Not bad

Interesting and exciting. Mercy was a doctor at a research facility but she realized that they were doing horrible studies on humans DNA with animals. Duke was part of a paranormal security unit and he was a wolf shifter. When Duke saw Mercy his wolf knew she was his mate even though the group thought she was part of the target at first. So when Mercy and Duke met their interesting and exciting romance began an adventure full of danger, intrigue, secrets and handful of a pixie for one wolf to tame. Suspenseful. I thought the mix of paranormal with the non-paranormal was very well written. The suspense was heightened by the reveal of their connection. She was an engaging character who was the perfect foil for him. I loved that the intrigue made the story flow with an urgency which was easily felt. Now I want to find & read the whole series. I liked the characters and want to read more of their stories, luckily this is part of a series. It would have been better to read in order as there were a couple times I felt I was missing something, or not understanding the bigger picture.

A Spin-Off With Bite. I loved all of the Immortal Ops books but this new PSI Ops is giving me more to love about the world that Ms. Roth has created. I love the male lead Duke he is such an alpha male and I love it. The female lead Mercy is just as tough, I love their chemistry and I love the plot surrounding them. This was an excellent way to begin this new spin-off series I cannot wait for the rest of the books from the PSI Ops world.

Act of Mercy. This was so good. Loved the action filled storyline. You get lots of surprises and meet new people. The characters are amazing. Duke is a great strong character and Mercy is super smart. They make a great team and couple. Loved it.

Act of Mercy. This is book one of eight in the PSI-Ops / Immortal Ops series by Mandy M. Roth. The relationship with Mercy and Duke is so amazing! Mercy works for a company that does evil this to others. She wants to help them, but she has become an accomplice. Duke is a wolf shifter who is an operative for PSI. When he meets her, it is amazing to see his transformation. I loved this book so much that I purchased it for my own. Act of Mercy. Very crude. To many F words I couldn’t finish the first chapter. Apparently this author is not very articulate that she has to use disgusting language to tell her story. Thank God it was free I would have been really aggravated if I had paid for it. I give a 1 star rating to warn other women what to expect from this obviously amateur author who has no class.

Excitement, humor, romance, and shifters. Different than I expected but really fun. So glad a gave it a chance. Super good!

Not Great. Overall this was just okay. It feels like the author was trying too hard, so the heroine and hero come off almost as caricatures rather real people. Like Mercy is super quirky and Duke is super tough those are their main traits that the author then dials up to an eleven throughout the book. Also everyone is so flippant about everything it gets to be a bit much at times. Mercy suffers from the trope of “not like other girls” to the point that one of the other characters actually says it to her. One of the things I did like was the camaraderie between the characters.

Enjoyable read. I found this book was a great read. It started a little slow but once the Storyline builds you are taken on a fast fun action journey. If this is your genre then I highly recommend this book. Definitely going to read more of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book via Booksprout.
