Great read. In my opinion the story works better in novel form. Better character development, more plot, and fun to read. When you watch the movie you feel like stuff is missing, but this book fills some gaps in. I definitely recommend this book if you enjoy the movie.

Wow wow wow. Really terrific! Tarantino expands on all the characters from the film in an exciting way. All the loose ends or unknowns from the movie are revealed. It feels at times like he is just showing off his film knowledge. All in all a great read and would highly recommend!

I am a Lifelong Tarantino fan!!!. I have seen everything that he has done and watched him in everything he has acted in. I am also a a book FANATIC since I was 4 and I started reading books. And that book reads like a movie script and a bad one. I am glad that he didn’t go that way with the movie. It has no flow it’s choppy and the jokes don’t work.

Fun Read, but..?. … it ends abruptly without ever going into the alternate reality/spin that the movie did so well. It was like… huh? That’s it?? What happened to Cliff’s confrontation at Spahn Ranch? What happened to the violent crescendo at Rick’s house with Cliff and Rick? It felt like Tarantino just ran out of steam and said, “Well, you’ve seen the film already.”

Once upon a time. Great read. Filled in some nice details that the movie didn’t have. Would like to know what became of Rick & Cliff

An excellent back story to an excellent movie!. This was a very interesting read. I am not sure exactly what I was expecting , but the way Tarantino fills in some of the backstory of the characters in the film that were alluded to in the script, and also projects some events forward past the film’s end only enhances his reputation as a master of story telling technique.
