Definitely not a standalone book. This was a fun book to read. It was disappointing that the book ended in the middle of the story. I am pretty sure that book #2 ( possibly the whole series) will end in another cliffhanger. Be prepared to be into the series for $36, because I did not see any book set bundling either.

The book experience. It was definitely worth reading for sure. Once I started it I couldn’t even try to put it down.

Cute story but …. I don’t like any book with a To Be Continued at the end (which clearly isn’t the end). Sorry, but just feels like I wasted my time.

Book ends with to be continued…. I usually love this author but this book was filled with a lo of fussy details that didn’t really seem relevant to the story. And just when the story finally starts to show focus its to be continued! Very frustrating

Cliffhanger ending and crazy metaphors. Had I known that this was going to be a cliffhanger, I probably would not have finished the book. I like the idea of the storyline, but the metaphors and flowery language was out of control. Nearly every paragraph had some over the top metaphor. It was very difficult to finish reading; only to find out at the end that it’s a cliffhanger. I am not going to download the next book. Be prepared if you choose to do so.

Predictable, raunchy, and wasted potential. I hardly leave negative reviews but this book compelled me to say how confused Ms. Monroe leaves me. Even though most of this book was predictable and just raunchy, I saw a glimmer of hope in her writing talents. This story hinted at the author’s ability to write well developed characters until she gave into cliques that always ended with inappropriately timed and unneeded graphic sex scenes. I hope Ms. Monroe gives herself the benefit of the doubt with her future work and gives her characters and their stories time to develop so as not to be such a superficial read. I could see myself liking the “every girl” Lacey if the author allowed her to have more depth and strength. The book needs more real life and more romance, not rewritten stolen scenes and plots from clique movies. I hope to see stronger more complex female characters that aren’t just preoccupied by sex when they’ve supposedly spent their lives developing into intelligent, capable, and strong women. I’m only disappointed because I saw glimmers of better writing abilities throughout the book and characters that were almost thought out.

The Billionaire Bargain. Great read and I would have given it 5 stars, but I hate a cliffhanger. If you put out a book for free, make it a whole book or just charge for a whole book. Don’t stretch a story out between many books, especially if each one ends in a cliffhanger or at least tell us that it’s going to be that way.

Very Charming Fellow. I couldn’t put it down I even put it on two platforms and read it on both. Deliciously sexy and heated in all the right places. My downfall is it has a sequel.

Aaah you know how the story ends. I think the ending is self explanatory and very common I personally didn’t like the book it just took to long to get to the point and once I got to the ending I was disappointed Wouldn’t read another book of Lila but that’s just my opinion but see for yourself

Missing pieces. While I like the story over all the writing it’s self left out details so I would flip back thinking I missed a page this happened a lot through the book . Not enough going on to get me to pay 5.99 for the rest of the book .

I loved it, but…. I couldn’t wait to read the whole story to see how it ended but now I have to buy another book. The story was very captivating because it held my attention enough to read it until 2am. But then it just stopped. I would buy the series if they were in one book. Not quite a standalone at all.

5 star. This author’s style is brilliantly funny and intelligent.

Couldn’t Finish. The terrible language was so offensive I couldn’t finish. Seriously, can’t you make your characters more intelligent in their spoken word? Of all the many words in the English language and you rely on the f-bomb. It ruins the appeal of the story.

It was Ok... It was ok... many situations felt over the top exaggerated... I dont feel like reading 2nd book in the series...

The Billionaire Bargain. Yeah I’m a little confused. It seems like a good portion of this book was accidentally deleted or didn’t upload? It stops on pg. 36 for me and the next book in the series most definitely does NOT pick up where this one left off. Unless the author can figure out what happened to the rest of the 1st book, save your money.

Tess Thompson just raised her prices & looks like she’s moving to only Amazon seller. Hope the other authors continue to give us option and seriously 250 pages for $6.00 not a great value when so many authors seem to get to the end in a rush.

Do a longer novel!. I understand the modern day writers like to make more money, but give the reader a break. Now I do love Grant, who wouldn’t? So, Lila, yes, I am ordering the next read. Hmpttt

Cliffhanger, hafta buy #2. The story was cute & actually made me laugh once or twice BUT it literally ended on a cliffhanger and the only way to finish the story is to buy book #2 for $6. I hate when a story is split up between books!

The Billionaire Bargain. I was captivated by these characters from the very first page and it was the ever present humor that kept me reading to the very end. Please note that this book ends on a cliff hanger so I hope that book two will hold my attention as much as this first book.

Teach me to read reviews. It was okay and I laughed in places. But no way is reading the whole story worth paying for part 2 for $6. I wish I had read the reviews first. I would not have bothered.

Couldn’t get into it. I m sorry but this book started off really wrong. I could not get passed pg 100. The poor assistant than is abused by management, then promoted an immediately fall into bed of the CEO. I just can’t get into this.

Slow & cliffhanger. Funny romcom but had a lot of dead space with in the head main character experience. Made book long and disappointed there was a cliffhanger.

Good. A good read but I didn’t realise it ends with a “to be continued…” and you have to read the next book. Enjoyed this first one though.

unfinished. i have found quite a few books that do not finish the story you have bought. So i am never going to purchase the follow up. I dont like to be shortchanged when buying a story.
