Wonderful way to spend the weekend. Harboring is definitely the right wording for this book. Both Taron and Onyx’s chemistry and passion comes alive in this wonderful paranormal romance. I don’t know if you should call this book romance, more like a paranormal adventure of epic sexiness and heat. Looking forward to seeing Resisting His Mate. Onyx and Taron. When Onyx was 11 she got hit by a semi truck and the hospital used human blood in the transfusions so she couldn’t shift into her wolf form, so the pack and her family were terrible to her. She stole money from her father and ran away as she was walking to the truck stop for things she was chased by 3 wolves. She got to Taron’s house and asked for sanctuary he gave it to her because she was his mate. His pack didn’t treat her much better after she was mated with Taron. Her pack found her and was going to kill everyone but Clover hacked into the web and let everyone know what was happening otherwise Onyx would have been killed. Everything worked out for everyone. Great book!

Worth it. Cute book.. I liked the books in this series

Loved it. Oh WOW! I have read over 20 of Christa’s books but I have never read a paranormal book of her’s. This series just became available again from previous tiles and I am so glad that I was able to read Harboring His Mate because I loved every single word. Every single character was interesting even the bad shifters. There was romance,intrigue, loyalty, friendship, sacrifice, mistrust, acceptance, and of course sexy times. I could go on and on with the adjectives to describe this story. I’m have a couple of days off and I plan on reading the other two books in the series. Sufficed to say I love Christa Wick. Onyx and Taron. This was a really good story!! Onyx I has runaway from her pack in Illinois and has end d up running through the woods being stalked by 3 young wolves. Taron the Alpha of his pack which consists of a majorly different types of shifters, takes Onyx under his protection. This book has a lot of twists and turns throughout to keep you on the edge! I truly enjoyed the heat between this Alpha Bear and the She Wolf Onyx. Taron not only heals her body but her heart and soul! This is such a good romance! The HEA was well fought for and well earned with a surprise thrown in for good measure! I reviewed a complementary copy of this book via Booksprout

Onyx & Taron’s story. Onyx a wolf is on the run from her family/pack. A leadership that has gone a stray and family who doesn’t show love or support to Onyx. After an accident that nearly killed Onyx when she was a child. On the run she is saved by Taron who is an alpha male bear shifter. He recognizes her has his mate but doesn’t say anything. He wants to protect and heal her, but he wants her to make that decision herself. But, someone is looking for Onyx and won’t stop until they get to her. i enjoyed the banter of these two and the other characters in the book. I can,t wait to read the rest.
