Lucky Escape. A light-hearted and fun story. Realistic characters. Makes you think about your own choices and where you might have chickened out in places…Jules

Wonderful read!. I haven’t read any novels in a few years and this one has got me hooked back in!

The Lucky Escape. I thought the characters were well developed and I was rooting for them all the way.

The Lucky Escape. First time reading this author, and so glad I did ! Great writing, very real characters, and I was so invested in the outcome. Mainly because I wasn’t sure of how it would end. There was a really funny moment at a couple’s spa that cracked me up. Who doesn’t need a laugh in these troubled times ? I have been reading a lot of English writers who always manage to make me laugh. Love their romcoms ! I will definitely be reading this author again.

Hard to put down. Loved Annie’s awakening and positive changes for her life. Very light hearted and uplifting with just the right amount of sweetness and romance. All the right elements for a perfect RomCom read.

A very light easy read. A very light read. Not too dramatic. A little bit predictable.

Disappointing. I found it frustrating that this book is supposed to be an English girl but is very clearly not as there is lots of American language and terms, ruined the read a bit for me.

Living life. Lovely book, that captured me straight away.

Enjoyable book for escapism. I read this book on my holiday in Corfu. It allowed me to relax while on holiday on my favourite island that I visit every year. This holiday was different because we travelled there whilst in Amber so had all the tests and quarantine to do and so The lucky Escape allowed me to float my mind to the love story that was unfolding in the book and totally relax my mind as well as my body. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a love story and travelling and adventure as this book gives anyone hope that they could too find happiness and/or love and adventure in their life maybe not only in their mind!!

Just beautiful - allows you to look at life through a different lens. A beautiful journey, thought provoking & shows us that self-love is just as important as loving those who surround u.

The bride who makes a dramatic decision. When Annie arrives at church ready to marry Alexander she receives news that he's cancelled the wedding and has disappeared. Confused and heartbroken Annie has no idea what caused Alexander's change of heart. Deciding not to waste the honeymoon, she suggests that Patrick, an old friend, accompany her instead of her missing ex-fiancé. Leaving for a two week, luxury non-honeymoon in Australia they agree to be merely friends sharing a trip of a lifetime. After all, Annie has just been jilted and Patrick insists he doesn't want a permanent relationship. I didn't mind that the plot was foreseeable, reading about sunny Australia during another lockdown was a delight and a means to ignore the cold weather outside. An enjoyable and easy to read romance.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I genuinely adored every minute of this book.

Enjoyable read. Enjoyable read with a nice feel good story

Kind of boring. This story was quite boring and didn’t really go anywhere. I normally finish books very quickly but this took weeks.

Good read. It was good but it was missing something for me. Was funny too which is always a bonus. Would recommend

Pleasant Surprise. Slow burn, closed door romance isn’t usually my thing but I ended up liking this way more than I thought. The characters are great and overall ‘carpe diem’ theme was cute and made for easy reading.

Not a complete story. Surely this book is more than 44 pages!!!!. Incomplete book a rip off

A great feel good story. Just what I needed, an easy read with brilliant characters that I really warmed to.

Stereotypical and unimaginative. Not every woman hits 30 and suddenly wants a child and a husband… the author implied it happens to every woman, I can assure from experience it doesn’t 😂
