Hmmm. I thought the story line was interesting but there were so many errors, it was kind of hard to get through. Switches between voices in the middle of a chapter...grammar mistakes...at one point, Kaia’s cat was referred to as a “him” in one sentence and a “her” in the next. I’m aware that the ebook version isn’t always as perfect as the hard copy but this was overboard.

Intriguing. Calum is dark and mysterious looking for all the wrong things until the right person falls into his lap-literally. Her dancing intrigues him and causes him to obsess over her. Their connection is undeniable but there’s always someone waiting to destroy it. Great read!

The Patron. I’m one of those people who REALLY hates when it is not plainly stated that a book is NOT a standalone. I won’t read any more of this author’s work.

Enchanting and extremely addictive!. I finished this book in about an hour! I just could not put it down! The plot twists and turns, leaving you in the throes of suspense! A lot of the book brought tears of joy and of pain!!! Extremely relatable story!

Billionaire Romance. This is book one of the Broken Slipper series and d@*n this book was heart stopping!! Everything in this book was full of passion, broken promises, desire and betrayals thrown in. Calum is a dark Billionaire who is ruthless in all he does. He is full of demons from his past that mad him who is. This past also has a way of crushing him. Kaia is a young ballet student who doesn't really know her true beauty, because of the verbal abuse form those closest to her. She takes on a job at Club X to pay for the demands of her father. What happens when Calum and Kaia's paths cross? Will the rules be broken? I can't wait for book two with the cliffhanger of this book.

The Patron. Was a decent read until it was left as a cliffhanger.

The Patron 🩰. I've read several books written by Vivian Wood; she has done a great job at writing this fabulous story; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. I need more....please

Couldn’t get past first chapter. I was very excited to read about a ballerina by day, stripper by night however, the author clearly was not a dancer nor did their homework on ballet classes. It was very distracting trying to read the story when so much of the dance part was incorrect. Overall very disappointing.

Calum & Kaia. Wow!! This was such a good story. Kaia is a ballet dancer and has always wanted to dance for a company. She has her eyes set on NYB. To make ends meet and to help pay off her debt to her father she works at Club X. That is very forbidden for ballet dancers, but she is very careful on not getting caught. One night there she meets Calum and he is intrigued by her. He knows she has had ballet training and that is one thing that draws him to her. While they work out an agreement, things are brought to life. She has a father who is a sick and twisted arse. He has a ballerina who is crazy as a nut and wants him. There is lots of drama, angst, crazy hateful people and some twists. This took me on an emotional ride and the ending, OMGosh!!! I couldn’t put it down until I was done. Vivian pulled me into the ballet world and has left me wanting the next one quickly. I can’t wait to read The Dancer to see what will happen next.

Good Story - poor editing. Good story very poor editing which ruins the story.

Not the authors best work. I have read some of this authors other work and enjoyed reading it but this story is so crass and over the top it’s laughable. The 2 main characters aren’t likeable especially the male character who is an egotistical, misogynistic a-hole and don’t get me started on the father of the female character. Weird is all I can say and don’t get me started on the typos

Great storyline. If you are looking for a book that is intense and has characters that will pull you in and absolutely keeps your attention right from the very first page to last than I recommend this book. Kaia and callum Will have you glued to the pages they will pull at your emotions as the story developers. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Not sure why I wasted my time. A mediocre book based on hard to like people with unrealistic problems

The patron trilogy. Whew the best book I’ve read in a while. Wow. Definitely a MUST read. Waiting for the 2nd book.

The Patron - Vivian Wood. I usually love these types of stories but what really pisses me off is reading a book loaded with spelling and grammer mistakes.

Intriguing and gripping!!. Calum and Kaia’s story is very captivating and enticing. An intense page turner!Wonderfully written and riveting. A definite must read.
