All the feels. Kit (Chicago Blaze #8) is a book with all the feels and if you love hockey romance or love stories this book should certainly be on your radar. This is Kit Carter and Molly Lynch’s journey and their story captivated me from the first page to the last line, it’s a quick read but it still packs a mighty punch and it can certainly be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone. Molly is a local journalist trying to make it to her dream position so she takes every assignment given to her, she does her best with every story but this one is bit different for this investigative reporter this is a story about a local hockey player but like all good investigators Molly is determined to see the real man not just the man the fans see. Kit is not looking forward to this interview because memories from the past need to stay in the past but the more time he spends with the stunning, shy Molly the more he wants to open up and give her everything about the man who left his past behind when he moved to Chicago...... This is romance was never going to be easy, Molly wants her life to be predictable and she doesn’t want to live in the limelight but how does that work when the man she is falling for gets recognised wherever he goes. I fell hard and fast for Kit Carter and I adored the shy Molly Lynch, the chemistry they share is sizzling and the banter is witty but it was the raw emotion that took this book to another level for me, so I guess all i need to say is please one click this gem.

Entertaining. From start to finish Brenda Rothert drew me in and had me invested with the story she wove about offensive lineman Kit Carter and Molly Lynch. This is the eighth book in the Chicago Blaze Hockey Romance series and was a good addition to one of my all time favourite hockey series. Although Kit is not a particularly long book, Ms.Rothert certainly packed quite a punch with this story. When Molly, a local journalist is tasked with writing a story on Kit, neither of them have no idea what is in store for them. Kit is one of the good guys, but he has his secrets and as Molly digs deeper, he has concerns that his darkest secret will be revealed. However the attraction that sizzles between Kit and Molly is hard to resist and once the story is filed Kit finally convinces Molly to take a chance and go on a date with him. Molly is such a shy, socially awkward woman who doesn’t feel that she deserves Kit and cannot see where she can fit into his life. However, Kit has fallen hard for Molly and he is determined to show her how good they are together. The banter was witter and I loved how snarky Molly could be on occasion. This one was also emotional as Kit confronts his past and shares with Molly all that he has been through. I applaud Ms.Rothert for her handling of such a horrendous subject, she handled it with dignity and respect and I applaud her willingness to discuss such subjects.
