Rogue for hire. Hot stuff!!! Not the usual plot.

Harry & Alice. ***1/2- Lord Harry Steele’s father is the Duke of Redditch. Harry’s father is tired of his reckless behavior and kicks him out of the house. Harry and his friends are known as the The Rogues of the Road. They have decided to start a business together. They will operate their dangerous and illegal business behind the respectable front of the RR Coaching Company. The coaching company is a cover for their true business. Each one of the rogues will use their particular skill to contribute to the group. Harry has decided that instead of creating scandals London Society will pay him to get rid of their scandals. Alice North and her sister Patience are heiresses. Their parents and brother have gone to the continent. Alice is left to chaperone her younger sister. Alice hires Harry to get rid of her sister’s fortune hunting beau. Alice’s sister Patience is in love with a man that Alice is sure only wants her for her fortune. Alice and Harry are both drawn to each other. Harry does not have the best reputation. Harry is debonair, flamboyant and fashionable. He hides his true self from society under the cover of his wild antics. Alice is hesitant about hiring him at first. She does relent when he seems to be experienced with avoiding scandals. Will Harry succeed in saving Patience from a fortune hunter? Alice and Harry enjoy playful banter and flirty times while getting to know each other. They have steamy scenes together which ignite their flames of passion. Harry and Alice are fun and adventurous together. This is the first book in the Rogues of the Road series. The wild and unique premise of the story draws you in. This is a fast paced short romance. Overall the book was good and easy to read. Harry has interesting friends and their stories should be entertaining. I do look forward to reading more about Harry’s friends in future books. Great news series!. Sasha Cottman’s “ Rogue for Hire “ is the start of a new exciting series. I really enjoyed this lighthearted and fun story. I laughed, I giggled and I sighed. Lord Harry Steele is the fourth son of the Duke of Redditch. Unfortunately for poor Harry has a knack for creating scandals, the Duke has had enough and Harry’s been cutoff and banned from his family. Faced with having to support himself Harry has decided that instead of creating scandals he will fix sandals for other people, for a price of course. That’s how he meets Alice North who finds herself in need of his services. Alice fears the man your sister Patience is in love with is only out for her dowry. Harry is handsome, dashing and oh so flamboyant. He and his three friends are in business to make enough money to open a coaching business. Alice is strong and protective of her family but she’s also open minded. This is a fun story with interesting characters who turned out to be much more than they seem. This is a fantastic storyline, humor, great dialogue and sizzling chemistry, adventure and a happily ever after. Thanks Sasha this wonderfully written, delightful story!

Alice’s Rogue. Because his father, the Duke, has cut him off, and to help raise money for a business venture, Lord Harry Steele help manage scandals for other people for a fee. Miss Alice North, daughter of a wealthy businessman, comes to him for help ridding her sister of a suitor she believes is a fortune hunter. From the moment the two of them work to find information to convince her sister that Cuthbert is not who she thinks he is, they are attracted to each other. Will they succeed? Should they? Harry is the first of the Rogues of the Road, four friends who are raising money, not always by completely legal means, to establish a coaching company. The other rogues are interesting and glib. Harry and Alice are a great match. Their chemistry is strong. They keep each other on their toes. Patience is a typical debutante. Cuthbert has secrets. There is a happily ever after in here somewhere, maybe even two. This is a fun story and a good start for a new series. I enjoyed it and look forward to more. I received an ARC of this book from Booksprout. My review is voluntary.

Fun read!. Sexy, playful, witty, and with a hint of mystery.

I love the story of Alice and Harry!.  They weren’t looking for each other, but then they found each other, and instantly knew pretty much that they were gonna be together forever.

A very different historical romance. Lord Harry Steele, the disowned 4th son of a Duke is flamboyant, scandalous and a bit depraved; at times I liked him, at others, not. Harry and his friends are certainly not fine upstanding men, in fact they are involved in all of manner of things that could see them get hanged. Not that the story focuses on Harry’s illegal activities but instead his business of squashing other peoples scandals. It is in this role that he meets Miss Alice North who needs his help in separating her sister from a fortune hunter. For the first time since he opened his business, Harry finds himself falling for a client but being Harry rather than court her, he does all sorts of scandalous things with her. Found the story too modern in it’s sensibilities, I don’t think I’ll be reading more in this series. I read this story from an anthology that is no longer available to purchase, Have Yourself a Merry Little Scandal.

Love a rogue. A well written story of a needy rogue that finds a way to make money with a rich heiress . A passionate and sensual read making this story a very enjoyable read.

Terrific Fun Regency Romance. I like where this series seems to be going. I love books that are different, that are about those who are not typical people in common situations. This is definitely not the typical Regency romance with a Duke and a virgin. It’s also a great deal of fun to read and I really can’t wait to read the rest of the books about this crew of men who banded together.
