Un-put-downable!. It’s been a long time since I found a book that was impossible to stop reading, but this one was it! “Falling” is an edge-of-your-seat thriller that kept me turning pages and holding my breath. You will be glued to every word and will ignore food and family, but boy - so worth it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Page Turner. It started slow and I was ready to move on to the next downloaded book on my iPad - I’m glad that I didn’t!

Gifted. 1st novel? Watch this woman because she’s got the gift. I’m looking forward to reading her 2nd novel!

Reads like a movie. Let me start off saying, I NEVER read books. I can’t stand sitting for long…and I never take time to read because of that. This book though, I couldn’t put it down. I read it in a matter of a month (which is about 14 years faster than the last book I read). If you like aviation. If you like suspense. If you like cliff hangers. Read this.

Ughhhh. The last part of this book is terrible

Emotionally riveting & page turning from start to finish.. Tears and joy were expressed openly throughout this well written book. I felt like a part of the story. I so enjoyed that it moved along with speed and excitement. I literally only put it down to charge my iPad and switch to my iPhone because I had no plans NOT to finish tonight! Non stop action. This book was excellent! From the very beginning to the very end it never dulls. One of the best books I have ever read. Highly recommend this book!

Falling. Amazing story, I found it Captivating, I thought about my own flight experience and what kind of a soul I would be. I never had an experience as traumatic as this group of great souls, thanks to the author for this intensive but informative story alive.

Not your book if you are afraid to fly. WOW, what a story, wrapped in and around world events and decisions. For a 1st book, Newman did an outstanding job of keeping the reader engaged and enthralled. Hard to put down, pretty emotional at the end.

An amazing read!!. Wow….From the first page to the last….couldn’t put it down….one read all the way through. Loved the story…. loved every one of the characters. Now I need a quiet moment in which to take a deep breath.

Great first release!. I’ve been a fan of aviation thrillers for a long time, and when I saw the buzz this book was getting, I wanted to give it a try. From the opening page, I was hooked. The intro tells me everything I need to know about this book. Riveting! Authors are always told to grab the reader as soon as they can, and in Falling, this was displayed skillfully. The writing reminded me a bit of John Nance’s work. Looks like I have a new thriller author to follow.

Hang On For the Ride. One of the best books I’ve read in a long time. Can’t believe this is her first book. Keep writing Newman!

Didnt fall fast enough. The author’s back story—flight attendant—is more interesting than the front story: the book itself. While there are a few laudable twists, i was ready to get out of the plane halfway.

Captivating. Good read… it kept me wanting more, hard to put down.

1950. This book feels like it was written in the 1950’s I think it was a movie also Don’t waste your time!

Couldn’t put it down!. Quick and exciting read! Being a retired flight attendant I felt the events on the jet were realistic and not hokey as some aviation books/movies can be. I liked the way the author moved back and forth from the events in the air to those on the ground. This story would make a great movie!

Great Read!. What started out as a bargain book. turned into a story I couldn’t put down. Thrilling plot right from the beginning . A team of characters you love and root for, and a “cause” woven through that we don’t know much about but I’m still thinking about days after reading. I read this book in hours. Seriously fantastic!!

Good read. This was a good book and I’m glad I read it. It was a little lengthy and for me it lost some momentum at times but overall a good book that I’d recommend.

Took my breath away!. This has to be the most exciting book I’ve read in so long I cannot recall a single title that hooked me like this story did. If this were a movie it would be one that has viewers on the edge of their seats gripping the armrests, and then in the end sobbing like idiots. It was my first by this author and will not be the last. This could have been written by Tom Clancy but it would have been 400 pages longer!

Don’t read it on an airplane!. This thriller has a slam-bang take off but loses altitude hall way through until it comes in for a silly landing. Quite readable, though not quite as entertaining as one of the old Airport movies of the seventies.

Could not it it down - too exciting!. This book was a page turner and something I looked forward to every day! Great characters and plot twists. I hope to see this book as a movie some day. I just really enjoyed this book.

Falling. Wow, great read.I will never,ever look at flight the same way . Felt like I was right there in aisle seat the whole way. But will rethink taking a flight soon.

Fine. Lots of cliche situations, predictable action and incredibly convenient plot drivers. Combine that with a hilariously random climax somehow involving the World Series and I expect to hear about the film version of this book on my favorite bad movie podcast. Ironically enough it’s totally fine to read on a plane for a few hours, hence the 2nd star.

Suspenseful, predictable, & Hollywood bound. This is definitely a can’t put down page turner. The predicaments are suspenseful and the characters are likeable. The story line was a bit too predictable (Middle Eastern terrorists, white saviors, loose cannon FBI agent, and an injured hero that hangs on just long enough to save the day). The biggest problem I had with the plot was the coincidence that the lead flight attendant just happened to have a nephew who worked for the FBI, and was assigned to the LA office, and he was just rogue enough to emerge as a hero. (Insert eye roll). Good summer read, however.

EPIC. This. Should. Be. A. Movie!

Most captivating tale I’ve read in eons. I’m an avid reader, two to three books a week. I’m also an author of technical material. Given these, I cannot heap enough praise on this book. It’s hard to believe this is a first work. I can’t help but believe that Netflix, Amazon Prime or a major studio will fail to bring this pulse pounding story to the reading impaired who will otherwise miss one of the best thrillers in years. Congrats to the author and all that supported her.

Could not put it down. I read a lot of books that feature suspense, twists and turns, memorable characters, and a coveting ending. This book did not disappoint

Well done!. When I saw the cover of the book, I was immediately reminded of Nelson deMille’s Mayday and hesitated buying. I thought I knew the story reading dozens of books all the time. I then downloaded the sample and was hooked. The writing is crisp and well done. The plot moved quickly and had good twists. For a first time out, TJ Newman shines. She is an author to watch.

Gripping!. This story had me flipping the pages the moment I started! Could not recommend it more.

Good title. Awesome book, like a roller coaster it gets the adrenaline pumping from page 1. I gobbled it up so fast —much faster than I usually do given by busy work schedule— and now I am sad it is done!
