Woke socialist propaganda!. Humans are bad and the new vampires are good. What a woke piece of trash! Big government is portrayed as positive. The enemy is good for the planet, unlike humans. Wish I would have stopped reading after the first few chapters.

Ending is rushed.. The book is interesting but the last few chapters really skip over events pretty quickly as if the author got tired of writing. It’s very abrupt and the motives of the protagonist are not explained as much as you’d think. I’m all for an unexpected ending but this was just kind of a let down.
Captivating. Great story, interesting characters. Fantastic twist on a common theme.
