Great read!. I really enjoyed this one! Anton and Sylvia have fantastic banter and sizzling chemistry. Throw in a forbidden element and you’ll be hooked until the end. Definitely worth the read. Can be read as a standalone but so much better if you’ve read the series.

Another fantastic sports romance from Sarina Bowen!. NO SPOILERS! I loved Bombshells and Anton and Sylvie’s story! It was funny, sexy, swoon-worthy, and I loved the storyline and characters. Sarina Bowen did a wonderful job crafting the fifth standalone in the Brooklyn series, and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. I was very happy with the conclusion and loved the sneak peek of the next standalone in the series at the end. Sarina Bowen definitely has another hit sports romance on her hands with Bombshells, and I’m super excited for Charli and Drake’s story in Shenanigans in 2022!

Ticked all my boxes. This book was everything I have come to expect from the very talented Ms Bowen. I love spending time with the Brooklyn Bruisers but Bombshells takes us in another direction by introducing us to the new woman’s hockey team now attached the Bruisers. This is Anton and Sylvie’s friends to lovers story and right from the first page you know you are reading a very special story because this book will stay with long after the final word has been read. Anton is a player on and off the ice but his world is turned upside down when he meets Sylvie a member of the newly formed Bombshells, the attraction is instant and the chemistry is smouldering but more importantly a friendship is formed when she needs a shoulder to lean on. They both know crossing the line could be harmful for their careers but out hearts often rule our heads and that means keeping their relationship a secret.... This book ticked all my boxes, I swooned, I smiled and I sighed as I joined Anton and Sylvie on their journey, i loved watching Anton go from a player to a one woman man and I adored meeting the Bombshells as well catching up with familiar faces from previous books. I’m really excited for the rest of this series and I can’t wait to see who’s story is next. This is a sweet, steamy, fun read that I highly recommend to all romance lovers.

A truly magnificent story!. Bombshells had me smiling from the very beginning and the way the story unfolded, I experienced a myriad of emotions! This entertaining book had fantastic banter and great intriguing characters that were very tongue in cheek at times. This is Anton and Sylvie’s story and we are sent on an interesting journey. Their ease of friendship is truly wonderful. When they come together its sizzling, its explosive...it’s incredibly hot and I had to fan myself...but could they become more? Baby Bayer is certainly something else. He is determined that it will be his best year yet! The one character I couldn’t stand at all, was his Dad. If I ever wanted to slap someone about the head, it would be him. He got me so fired up! Anton is nothing like him at all. It can be seen in his demeanour and the way he is to those close to him. A genuine man! This book was an absolute joy to read. I immersed myself into their story and loved every moment. It was also really wonderful to read about a woman hockey player. Sylvie, is a goalie for the womens Brooklyn bombshells and it goes to show that although women dont get the same pay checks as men in sport, they are just as fierce, if not more so, in their goals to win their games. This was a truly magnificent story!

Bombshells. Bombshells by Sarina Bowen The Bruisers and the Bombshells meet in this next book of the Brooklyn Bruisers and feature Baby Bayer and Sylvie! The Bombshells is the newly formed female hockey team where Sylvia is the backup goalkeeper. It’s instant attraction for both of them but Anton is on the straight and narrow (no distractions whatsoever!) while Sylvie thinks she’s in love with someone else. Keeping all of this in mind, Anton and Sylvie strike up a friendship first and foremost. I enjoyed experiencing all the different relationships in this book and particularly loved revisiting the Bruisers locker room 😆. However, what struck me most was the relationships slowly forming between the Bombshells. Supportive, strong, and overall badassery. The romance between Sylvie and Anton started slowly and I was here for it! There wasn’t much I disliked about the book apart from having to wait foreverrrrr for the next one! I mentioned Sylvie thinking she’s in love with someone else, but there’s no triangle here. Each book in the Brooklyn Bruisers series can absolutely be read as a standalone however, if possible, I’d definitely suggest reading the whole series. *I voluntarily read an early copy of this book. **Reviewed by Melinda for Joandisalovebooks Blog.

My favourite. I think Anton and Sylvie are my favourite couple (at least so far) in this series. They just work in a healthy, realistic, yet dreamy way. I love a story where the couple just make sense from the start and when its him that falls first. 5/5

She Does it Again!. Fun,mysticism,and hairpins! Bowen delivers another solid addition to this series/sub-series. Entertaining us,all the while shedding light on inequality in the world of professional sports, bravo Sarina!
