This book is legit!. Do you like FPV Freestyle videos? Do you wish you could learn how to fly like that? Do you like big tutorial books with lots of shiny pictures? If you answered yes to any of these questions then this book is for you! I just got it, and I’m loving it! I have about a year’s worth of experience flying acro under my belt, but I still find this book to be very insightful, especially the detailed Freestyle tutorials! Instructions are provided for 19 different tricks, and I’m finding that it’s really effective to read a tutorial, study the diagrams, and then try it out for myself in a flight simulator. If FPV drones excite you as much as they excite me, then I know you’ll enjoy this book!

Save yourself HOURS online. The internet’s great and all but it would take hundreds of hours to hunt down even a fraction of the knowledge this book brings to the coffee table. If there is ever a college level class on FPV this would be the obvious choice for the text book, what an incredible resource!

Game Changer. This book is going to redefine FPV as a hobby and sport. Let me explain why. It seems as though FPV is a hobby best learned through experimentation and inspiration. FPV Flight Dynamics introduces concepts and understandings that take hundreds of hours of stick time to develop. Until now, You’d have to watch just the right YouTube video to get the info. Reading about these concepts and keeping them in the back of your mind as you experiment will guide your thought process and understandings. It’s a textbook, it’s a travel journal and it’s a philosophical understanding of the cause and effect that takes many sleepless nights thinking about FPV to acquire. Most importantly, FPV Flight Dynamics demystifies the stumbling block that plagues beginners like me - the input. Taking a Zen approach similar to “The Inner Game of Tennis” by Timothy Gallwey, Christian Mollica bypasses the hands and connects the pilot with the flight rather than the controls. I’m new to FPV, but if I were to give a beginner the first purchases advice it would be this book, a controller and a simulator. It’s a great introductory read and an invaluable resource to advance.

Can't highlight or write notes. The book includes tons of helpful info but sadly there's no way to highlight or take notes when I come across a helpful tip/trick. Please add this very important feature!

Highly recommended for ALL drone pilots. This book is amazing. It is very well written, incredibly well researched, and does an excellent job of describing (in straight forward terms) some very complex and technical elements related to drones. Very valuable not just for FPV pilots, but ALL drone pilots. This book will help you appreciate and better understand what your drone is all about, the technical aspects of how it works and under the covers of these amazing flying computers! After 8 years of commercial drone operation, there was still a ton of great learnings and helpful reminders that I got out of this. Highly recommended.

FPV Awesomeness!!!. This is by far the best book on the subject of learning and flying FPV drones out there. It covers everything from the physics of flight dynamics to drone parts and components right through to EVERYHING you need to fly like a master. Hint - crash more! This is a very in depth book and highly recommended!

FPV Flight Dynamics. I’m new/beginner to FPV and in all honesty this book along with Joshua Bardwell’s, (mentioned in the book) videos have helped me immensely to have a better understanding of FPV quadcopter. He uses simple terms (for newbie pilots) to explain things that experienced pilots might view as common knowledge or second nature. Highly recommended read if your are a new to FPV.
