Another great Book. This book was great!!! I enjoyed the new character from Blake Pierce. This looks to be another great series of book from my favorite author!!!

Errors+misspellings. All of the mistakes in the book made it impossible to focus on the book. Page after page...

Her last wish. I loved the unique storyline. It was easy to identify with the characters. HOWEVER, there were SO MANY TYPOS and even incorrect words, that it greatly distracted from the story.

Good. It was a good book, but was expecting a different, more cliff hanging ending knowing that there are sequel books. Also, many grammatical errors.

Her Last Wish. Usual excellent writing, however, I do not like to be left hanging at the end of a story requiring you to purchase the next book. I want the full story in one complete volume. My only complaint about my favorite author.

Nearly read in one sitting.. Clean. Intriguing story & plot. Tear jerker at times. One of the best short reads I’ve read. Would be a 5star, if there had not been so many misspellings, grammar errors, or maybe spellcheck/autocorrect changes. Hard to believe the author and editor missed seeing them and correcting; so my theory is autocorrect.

Good story. Many typos.. The story was well written and kept me involved. Unfortunately, the book is riddled with autocorrected typos causing a disruption in the flow as I paused to decipher and replace the word with the correct word.

Great series debut!. Wonderful new protagonist that is easy to love from the start. But she has a secret that will change the lives of those around her! The antagonist is quite believable, even heartbreaking in this book. I couldn’t put it down!

Why are they women LEOs emotional cripples. It is a standard formula that they do not follow procedure, act impulsively, and fail to call back up. If nothing else it reinforces a the stereotypical hormone driven, overly impulsive female that can not handle a “man’s” job. I will never vote for a woman since the majority act exactly like these brainless twits. If you doubt it look at congress or teachers union president or Harris the sex for promotions fool.

An amazing dual path drama.. One of the most captivating books I have ever read. The turmoil FBI agent Rachel battles is gut wrenching; you know she can’t continue the duplicity - it’s just a matter of time. I did note several typos an realized I should have annotated those as j read.

Not up to par. I’ve read many of this author’s books and thought they were great, but the last two I’ve read have had too many distracting typos. It seems no one bothered to proof read the manuscript. The age of the daughter kept changing and I really don’t think an almost eight year old would be in kindergarten. Instead of “been” it was “bene” multiple times, and on and on. Very disappointed.

The story is really a good idea, however…. Since I read ebooks, it was clear that the publisher did not finish editing this book before putting it up for sale. As I was having to navigate around wrong punctuation and missed words and letters I was also wishing the story had been flushed out a bit more. Deeper character backgrounds and a lot more research into the particulars. Having family in law enforcement, in the FBI, and as a military veteran myself, I definitely noticed inconsistencies along the way. Overall though, I was compelled to finish the book. Not sure I want to continue the series, though, I’d like to find out what happens with Rachel.

Great story, but…. As much of Blake Pierce’s body of work, this book is well written with well developed characters and storyline. What was distracting was the amount of typos, transpositions, etc. I was so surprised as I was reading and finding errors that I thought this wasn’t a Blake Pierce book at all, but it was confirmed on completion. Have another go at the editing and release an update. It’s not just a couple errors, there are many.

Love Pierce’s stories, however. The nonstop typos are so distracting. I’ll read her free ebooks, but cannot fathom paying to read books turned out by the dozen with no proofreading or editing.

Another great one!!. Love this one. Keep reading Blake’s books if you’re reading this. She (or he?) won’t let you down!

Her Last Wish. I’ve read many of Blake Pierce’s books and this did not disappoint, except for the many typos. One thing that did bother me was her reluctance to tell those close to her about her illness.it seems a bit selfish to withhold something that serious from those it could most affect.But, the story itself keeps your attention and I do look forward to the next book.

Her last wish. Great mystery novel by Pierce. Got you so you couldn’t put the book down until the end. And sort of leaves you hanging at the end so you have to read more of this author ! Great writing!

Tough book to finish. Let me start by saying that I LOVE Blake Pierce however, this was a tough read for me. Maybe it’s because it started off with an illness for the main character and we haven’t developed any feelings for her. But stick with it because it’s an excellent read!

Her last wish. Rachael is at the top of her game. An FBI agent, an excellent partner, a devoted husband and an adorable daughter. Everything in her world is good, until a visit to a consultant and a death sentence is given. She has a year, she must find a killer, but will she then wallow waiting for the end, or does she keep working and find the people who murder, kill and destroy lives.

Her Last Wish. I gave this book 3 stars, it really only deserves 2, but part of the narrative was plausible. The general writing is not to a good standard. The use of ‘what’ instead of ‘who’ when referring to people. The children’s T.V. level of persuit and action. I won’t pay for any of the sequel books as I don’t think there will be any improvement.

Enjoyed it. I did enjoy this book there was some editing errors but nothing that you couldn’t read around, not as bad as some reviews lead you to believe. As much as I did enjoy this book, I don’t fancy reading the next in the series and the other books following, I just didn’t fancy keep reading about doom and dilemma of Rachel.

Gripping. Great twists and turns to this book.

Too good. Had me absolutely hooked from the beginning, and probably my favourite book series. Definitely going to be reading every single one of these books and more of Blake’s other series.

Her Last Wish.. Let me start by saying not one of her best books in my opinion. No satisfaction in catching the killer. Who the heck is the guy in prison, and no reveal of her condition at the end. Could be a smart ploy to get me to purchase the next book.

Hard to put down, action-packed thriller. Intense, riveting storyline kept me glued to the page. We are given a close look inside the killer’s mind but don’t know who she is until the end of the book. The stakes keep getting higher as the victims increase and Rachel, the protagonist, faces a difficult personal challenge on top of it. She chooses to keep it to herself so the secrets and lies build throughout the entire book. It was an edge-of-your-seat read practically from start to finish.
