This series is so good that I’m actually sad it isn’t all already released. I stumbled across the first book and the second one is even better! Love this couple and world that the author created. There’s definitely some steam to this series but it’s balanced so well and feels natural. Would highly recommend!! D

Amazing ! Must read!!. Just when I thought a series could not get better it does! The twist & turns in these series kept me wanting more . The love story is the icing on the cake. Brenda K Davis is now my favorite author of all time!

Amazing! A page turner!. She has done it again! I am never disappointed by Brenda K Davies books and this one is a page turner. I could not put it down as I could not anticipate where the story was going to go next. I love the characters and the descriptions in this book. I can’t wait until the next one! Don’t miss out on this series you won’t be disappointed!

Dragons, Vampires, Fairies and Werewolves Oh My!. Book 2 is not a stand alone book, but honestly this series is meant to be devoured and reread because it is just that good. I mean a seemingly powerless half human/vamp Lexi falls in love with Cole a half Fairy/Werewolf prince forced to face the trials to become king after his fathers brutal murder or have his home destroyed by the crazy Dragon king. He's left Lexi alone, and now he must leave her alone again. And did I mention although it's a smaller part, I love it, the castle is haunted or powerful or something super cool. The detail that went into every aspect of this book is spectacular you find something new to love at every turn. Book 3 promises even better secrets as the ending of this one is doozy. Brenda K. Davis has done an exceptional job painting a world and people for us that will touch us all differently. Happy reading.

Mighty good book. This book was awesome. It picked up right were the other one did. I find that great. The story moved along and I had many moments where I didn't even realize I had gotten far. Lexi is hard-core loyal. If she cares for someone she will take care of you. Cole has to step up and take over the kingdom. The trials was horrible. The stuff he went through. Wow. Your going to be on the edge of your seat. They both find love is what is keeping them going. I can't wait for the next book. (less)

Holy cats on fire!!. This series is really starting to take off. The suspense completely gripped me throughout and the story flowed well. A couple of twists I didn’t see coming and one I had a feeling about but definitely worth the read and highly recommended!

Amazing Story. I absolutely love Cole and Lexi and couldn’t wait for book 2 to come out.. it’s a total must read series. The trials Cole had to endure were gut wrenching, but he kept going with Lexi on his mind. Lexi has a secret she’s been keeping from Cole. What will happen when he finds out? of course the evil Lord and Malakai have to come into play. But seriously this book is so amazing like all of Brenda’s books are.. it’s full of love, angst and ohh the surprise..

This sequel checked all the boxes: Romance, Action, Excitement, the Feels!. I loved the first book and was left wanting more and, oh boy, did I get more! After my heart mourned, it was happily mended back together and then- quite literally- tested in this second novel. I loved both the main characters’ tenacity and loyalty. I loved how the story developed- the new events that answered some questions and created new ones that will lead well into the third book, yet again leaving me wanting more. I can’t wait for the story to continue, I devoured this enticing sequel in an afternoon!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I am so glad I stumbled upon this series! The first book was free, so I gave it a shot and haven’t been disappointed in the least! The imagination, writing and detail that has gone into this series is perfection. She doesn’t charge near enough for these books! Each book gets better and better and impossible to put down. I can’t wait for the fifth book to come out in August! Definitely for mature audiences only… the spice is delicious throughout the series.

I love this world!. This book continues to keep me on edge as Lexi and Cole deal with the upheavals in their lives. I love how Lexi is not some meek female or one who falls for mind games from a jealous woman! The twists and turns the story takes has me wondering how it will all come together and what scenario will prevail. I cannot get enough of these two and am anxiously awaiting the next installment. Move over Kobal! Cole is my new favorite book boyfriend written by Brenda K Davies!

Keep me on the edge of my seat!. Love for it to not be a click bait style marketing tho. One you’ll want to keep reading. I’d still rather pay one price for all books than have to purchase a series separate.

Cole and Lexi’s story just keeps getting better with this series!. The very first paragraph had me on the edge of my seat. After reading book, 1 I could not wait for book 2 to come out. As Cole walked up the stairs with his bloody footprints I was right there with him. As Brenda’s writing always does I was hooked and could not put it down. Cole, Brokk, Orin and Varo just lost their father and Cole had to watch it happen. RAGE! Yes this book kept me on the edge of my seat with Cole going through the trials and having to be away from Lexi. There is so much more that I want to say, but I don’t want to give spoilers. Cole and Lexi have a lot to over come that is for sure! I kinda wished Cole had of killed Malakai many times already! I am sure his time will come sooner or later and I hope Cole does it slowly. I also, can’t wait to see Orin’s story and meet Varo. An I really can not wait for book 3 to come out! Brenda’s books always leaves me wanting more and more! On a side note I think Lexi will be the ruler of the dragons or the one that can set them free!

Holy crow!. What’s not to like?! There. Are. Dragons!! Along with Fae, Vampires, Witches and Lycan and magic!! From the moment I completed Shadows of Fire, I couldn’t wait to read the next in this brand new series by Brenda K. Davies! With such vivid word imagery, it’s nearly impossible to put this book down. You truly feel for the characters in the story, even if means wanting to punch a fictional antagonist repeatedly! I had a sneaking suspicion about a character and this plot twist didn’t disappoint. I’m looking forward to seeing character development and meeting other mentioned individuals. Highly recommend reading this book… you will NOT regret it!

Wow. everything Brenda k Davies has ever written so when I found out she has written a new series I was excited ... she hit this 2nd book out of the park like wow what a story and an amazing storyline for thi series .. But I have one complaint THAT ENDING…. how could you!! Left me hanging so much but this books has so much and I truly can’t wait for more . She blew my mind with this one, which honestly is nothing new which is why she is in my top favourite authors.

Shadows of discovery. Wow this book is great, can’t put down exciting and a little bit scary for the characters the plot is fantastic and always involving it has you on the edge of your seat, it will also make you laugh the characters have so much personality I just love it.

Better than the first!. There is so much more going on in this second book compared to the first. Not a dull moment! It’s action packed, lots of suspense and Lexi and Cole’s relationship continues to build. Loved it! Can’t wait to read the next one.
