Great book. I loved this book. If your in to mystery books this is the one for you. This book is definitely a quick read, but a good mystery book. The book has 23 chapters and has a lot of characters in it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery books. I will be reading The Black Diamond book 1 of the seres next.

Read in a day!!!. I don’t think I’ve ever read an entire book in a day. This was sort, but you literally cannot stop reading it until the end. I downloaded it while my kids were at a trampoline park. When we left, I had 4 chapters to go and I read them as soon as we got home. I really enjoyed this book. Definitely worth the read.

I say a quick read because her books keep you wanting more, so you can't put them down. Great vacation escape during the summer if you need a good read.

I really liked it. I liked the storyline and the characters I disliked that the characters reactions to their problems, were sometimes unrealistic. The PI kept accusing people without any actual proof, and then made elaborate schemes that made no sense when she could’ve just showed pictures of potential suspects to the kid, he could’ve just pointed them out to her, which would’ve been more simple than the confusing back and forth. But I guess it adds more to the PI’s experience with the new case. I did like the connection of the book to the case, it was a cool way of foreshadowing the answer to Rebecca’s mysteries. I really liked the banter between Sloane and Coop and want to see more of them in another book.

Excellent Prequel. This book is an excellent prequel to the author’s Sloane Monroe series. It is the first case the investigator handled. As an avid fan of the series, I enjoyed a look back to how her work as a private investigator began. As always, the author writes an intriguing story that draws the reader in from the opening scene. This character is a favorite of mine and if you haven’t yet read this series, this book is a great place to start. Sloane Monroe will entice you into the series. Ms. Bradshaw’s exceptional writing will keep you there.

A good undetective mystery. A worth reading novel with character development along the way. That made the flow most enjoyable.
