A Thousand Steps. Coming of age story, a mystery with twist and turns for a for a young man during turbulent times of sex, drugs and rock and roll.
Lots of twists and turns. Perhaps I’m biased having grown up in Newport Beach and currently an Orange County resident. But, even if you have never been to either this is a fun book with unexpected twists and turns. I can picture each character, they really did exist in Laguna back then and many still call LB home. Unexpected ending, a good read if you are looking for something that will keep your attention but doesn’t require your brain to think way too much.
