You must read this book no matter your opinion of it. I read this book for 7th grade ELA. Because it was the end of the school year, we only read the first part, The Hearth and the Salamander. But I decided to just go for it and finish reading the book over the summer. My second dystopian novel (Animal Farm was my first), finished a few days ago. I’m still under a very deep impression. Great read, but I wouldn’t teach it in 7th grade, it’s a little too dark and political.

Great book but so many Typos. So many typos every page there is 20 random question marks

A Pleasant Surprise. My son was assigned this book for summer reading. Of Course, I wanted to read it first. I am pleasantly surprised by the intrigue and how insightfully written. Great read!

Great read.. Phenomenal book. Though it was written a long time ago, it resonates with current situations. The burning of books should never happen. Neither should the banning of books.

Amazing novel, horrific publication. This is one of my all time favorite novels. It has such a powerful message, I could read it over and over again. However, this publication is riddled with typos and weird paragraph breaks. Dashes have been replaced by question marks creating a chaotic reading experience. Everyone should read this book…but please please please pick a different version.

Read this book!. The nuances kept me hooked on the events that were constantly happening to Guy. I recommend this novel to anyone interested in dystopian novels.

Bad Version. This version is to be avoided. There are times when paragraphs are split and it appears to be two but they are not. Other times hyphens are question marks. Also I think the last few pages are incorrect. Avoid this version. I wish I never bought it.
