What a Drag. This story was dragged out and a continuous torture. There were so many opportunities to end and there are probably 7 chapters that added zero value to the entire story. No spice or juice for this book. Just a bland happily every after.

Happy book. I really loved this story. it rolled around in different places, with lots of interesting characters. I really liked how she brought the characters into the story, no one seemed out of place.The main character having lost at love shows just the right amount tension, as she opens herself up to a future.

Loved it!. Great storyline, funny & interesting characters, wonderful writing! Didn’t want it to end…I’m glad I discovered this author! I’ll be eagerly awaiting for your next brilliant stories.

I miss them already. I absolutely ADORED this book. I’ve read a few great books lately and all of them have made me fall in love with the characters. I thought I wasn’t going to be surprised because the little preview gives a lot of information, but let me tell you - I gasped many a time! I loved everything about it, the atmosphere, the storyline, and the accents (aka me trying to read the lines in an Irish accent). I loved each character for different reasons, and I loved them all because they were so relatable. I miss them already! I also want to live the life they live! If you love rom coms, you will love One Night Only! 10/10 will read again :)

Charming and fun.. One Night Only by Catherine Walsh is a fun, delightful book about a woman’s struggle to learn to trust again. The book takes place in New York City and Ireland, with fun characters and charming side characters. Sarah Anderson has one rule about dating, and that rule is one-night stands only! So, when she travels to Ireland for her best friend’s wedding, she was shocked to find her most recent one-night stand at the wedding, and the brother of the groom. Can she keep to her rule, or will Declan Murphy charm her into more than just one night? This fast-paced book was charming and fun. Sarah has a lot of baggage, and she has to learn to trust again. The author added quite a few quirky characters to make this emotional journey fun and light while allowing Sarah to suffer while she figures out her issues and dig out from the emotional baggage that is keeping her from living her best life. You can tell the author has a love of Ireland, as her descriptions of the village were vivid and heartfelt. I highly recommend this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Buy it. Probably one of the best books I’ve read in the last year. If you love a good romcom this one will not disappoint.

MUST READ. I REALLY hope that there is going to be a part two, or a second book in the series, because I am so not ready for that book to be over!!! I absolutely loved it. As soon as I started reading, I was drawn into it and so many various events happened in the storyline to where I couldn't help myself from staying up late just to read another chapter. Sarah was such an interesting character. She really frustrated me but it was also understandable why she was the way she was. Declan...OH Declan. *SWOON* I wish I had watched a Youtube video to hear an Irish accent again so that the voice in my head could read his quotes in it, because who doesn't love that while reading?! I enjoyed all the coincidental run-ins, and the story build up and AAHHH I JUST LOVED IT! I would read this at work and I actually got to a point where I started secretly reading at work (in between patients) because I NEEDED to know what was going to happen! You guys need to read this novel, especially if you are into slow burn romances!! I have a great feeling about this author and I cannot wait to read more of her work! Started off ok…. This book started off entertaining and funny at times. But i was very disappointed in the second half - the story of Sarahs past was weak and the book got a bit cringe and predictable.

Heart warming chic lit. A hug in a book, easy read on a sunny Sunday.

Funny, Charming and Real. This was not just a cute and fluffy romance, it was delightfully messy, with flawed characters. Neither were perfect, the lead character least of all; and although at times I grew frustrated with her I enjoyed that the author chose not to allow Sarah’s defences to be broken down easily. Trauma from past experiences can affect you in so many ways and in many other books I’ve read characters seem to have a complete behaviour change after meeting one person, and it isn’t always realistic. This wasn’t the case here and I appreciated that. The light banter between Sarah and Declan was really fun, and I really enjoyed all the supporting characters too (especially Will he had some excellent comments that cracked me up). Their connection was evident from the start and even when they were bickering you couldn’t help but love them together! The setting was perfect, with a small section in Ireland and the majority in New York. It’d definitely recommend as a great summer read 🥰 I honestly had no idea this was a debut until I got to the end, I was so impressed with how well the characters were written and I will definitely be following the author from now on! Love it love it love it!!!. Hilarious sweet and at times beautifully touching, I have fallen head over heels for this story. I thought I knew exactly where this plot would go based off the description but I could not have been more wrong, so much took me by surprise in the best way and although it has all the feels of a classic rom-com it is wonderfully unique at the same time. Sarah and Declan have the most amazing dynamic which only got better and better as the book went on. Both characters are incredibly written and loveable in their own ways and together they are EVERYTHING. I cannot recommend it enough, although it did take me a little while to get fully hooked on this story to begin with once I did I was gone! Finished within the day even if it involved a very late night 😂

Boring.. didn’t want to keep reading. Story line very predictable. Finished the book but has to force my self as doesn’t get you hooked

I couldn’t put it down. Since becoming a mum (6 years ago!) I’ve not had a great deal of time to sit and enjoy a good book. Well let me tell you, I couldn’t stop reading this, in fact I read it in two days! It was, at times, very relatable, funny and romantic and it didn’t take me long to get hooked. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
