Great read!. I loved this 2nd gen book, but it is also an excellent standalone! This book shows an intense, complex, beautiful relationship between Ry and Bowe, and how obstacles are meant to be overcome for the one you love.

Fortunate Reader. This was such a good book!!! I’m hooked and hope Jay continues to write about the second generation of her marked men series.

Sweet hot love!. Fabulous family and young love! I love this author’s storytelling and fantastic characters. This next gen series starts out with heart melting couple in Ry and Bowe. Their first chance at love ended with hurt feelings and years apart until Ry needs his old friend Bowe when his perfect world is thrown out of whack. Perfection is over rated especially when less than leads to better results. I haven’t read all the first gen Marked Men books but I can imagine that those who are invested in that series are so excited for this new one. There was a lot of kids that are introduced in the beginning of this story and almost overshadowed Ry and Bowe’s sweet love story. The background and intros take up a lot of the first half of the story. When Ry and Bowe get on track their romance is delicious. They’re so supportive of each other and the connection is terrific and based on a lifetime of knowing each other. That old teen chemistry kicks into a hotter mature level that’s swoon worthy. There’s a huge twist at the end that’s heartbreaking and leaves Ry with a new path in life and sis Daire in despair. So sad! I love that Bowe’s dreams play out in a spectacular way and Ry finds a way to keep them together. This story is full of wonderful family and friends with the old folks and the new gen of kids. There are hints of more hookups with this group of young adults. Can’t wait!

So happy!. Absolutely loved this! So many of the older characters were tied into this without overshadowing the new ones! Definitely can’t wait for the next one!

Loved it !. The book touches on so much. And I love that super emotional scene towards the end iykyk. I loved the series before and I loved this one just as much.

Awesome book!!. I loved this book! It was great getting to see the 2nd generation of the book that first started me on Jays book worlds! Getting to get reacquainted with the original characters was a bonus. This book gives ya all the feels and is in jays incredible storytelling that makes ya want more and more. A love letter to her fans (old and new). Welcome back to the Marked Men/Saints of Denver world! I truly never thought JC would write the second generation and I was thrilled to get my copy! This is a true second generation story so if you’re looking for lots of appearances from the first crew, you are out of luck. Yes, they are present but the story revolves around Ry and Bowe as it should. If you’ve never read either previous series, you can easily read this book and not be confused by who is who.

So good!. Jay never disappoints! This had the perfect balance of the new generation with sprinkles of the original crew mixed in. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.

Like coming home. I’ve been a reader of Jays since the beginning and while this story is something new, it felt like coming home. I can’t wait to see all the other stories that come from this new generation. Also SPOILER how dare you make me cry jay?? The conversation between remy and ry was so amazing. I hope we get to go back to Denver again. ❤️

Wow, so good!. If you’re a fan of the Marked Men series, this next generation book will not disappoint. I loved reconnecting with some of my favorite characters. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t put it down.. Jay took us on a new journey while reminding us of our old friends. There are some cool surprises and some painful ones. Excellent read. She never disappoints. I’m going to need the rest of the series NOW!

Perfect!. I absolutely loved the original series, and this is the best continuation without making it about the original characters. I also am glad to see not every couple having children. It ties better with modern life and choices. Cannot wait for the next story!

A little frustrating. I love the original series so much. I feel like this book was rushed or missing some parts. I wish the story had been longer maybe more fleshed out. I feel like I didn’t get enough time with characters or they didn’t have enough time to naturally grow and develop and it felt rushed. I still have it 5 stars but I want more for the next book.

Jay does it again!. So happy to be back in the Marked Men world. This up and coming generation feels so familiar already. I loved this book and can’t wait to continue the stories of my favorite characters children!

I liked the build up to Ry and Bowe, and I hope she doesn’t leave us hanging with the other stories that seem to have started here. I want to know how they all turn out. Love love love. I wondered which direction this could possibly go with the second generation. All I have to say is that it didn’t disappoint and now I cannot wait for the next book. I loved Ry and Bowe’s story, feel so bad for Daire hopefully she gets her happy ending later on as well.

Fortune Son it’s a 5 start book. Everything about this book it’s really enjoyable to read. How Ry and Bowen friendship when they were kids turn into the love they show for each other and the support they have from their parents was really cute 🥰 🥰🥰🥰🥰. Hopefully this is the first book from series because I want to know about the rest from tha BIG FAMILY. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing!. I have read all the books in the Marked Men series and Saints if Denver. This one has got to be one of my faves! Highly recommend the read even if you haven’t read the others. It made me laugh and cry. Just amazing 💕

Finally!. I was sceptical that the same emotion, feeling and passion would come across in the second generation of this family, and boy was I ELATED when it worked out. Thankyou Crownover for conveying the love and heartbreak and incredibly stories you write for us. I am eagerly waiting for the rest of the second generation stories. Read it!

Fortunate son. It was excellent reading the first book in the second generation of the Marked men. The character development was very insightful and made for great reading. To hear how Rule and Shaw were as parents was very entertaining and the other original characters. I love her books and this was no exception. Get a copy.

The emotional amusement park. I counted down the days for this book thinking it would be some sweet nostalgia considering how much I loved the original series. It was so much more! Jay really went in hard. I feel like I’ve taken every ride at the emotional amusement park. Definitely worth investing in Ry and Bowe’s story and catching up with the old crew along the way.
