Delicious!. This is such a awesome, fun, and charming, opposites attract romance with well developed characters, coupled with Hot and Steamy romance. I absolutely loved this story between the townies and the Garnet College trust fund students. Cooper and Mackenzie’s story is magically delicious from beginning to the end. Is there anything more alluring about a romance than the chase itself. This is a slow burning, somewhat angsty, complicated romance. On paper, these characters make zero sense together. But these two have more in common then they ever imagined. Their attraction is Scorching taut with desire. But when Mackenzie finds out what was behind Cooper’s initial interest in her to begin with, will she return to her ex boyfriend Preston? This was such a fun, addictive read. There are moments in this story so angsty and as well as moments sweet and tender I swooned. There’s no shortage of push and pull or side drama which had me on the edge of my seat. There’s also humor and hilarious banter between Cooper and Mackenzie. So adorably funny, charming and romantic. A story that entertains. I really enjoyed this book, all the swoony moments between Cooper and Mackenzie and all the possibilities. Everyone needs this book! Get it now!

Sooo good. Great read as usual. Cannot wait till the next one comes out. I enjoyed the side characters as much as the main ones.

Good summer reading. I have read a few pages of this book at first until this summer I couldn’t put it down some nights it got SOO good. I loved the 2 narrator plot. Good story!

So cute. I loved this story! I would’ve given 5 stars if the ending would’ve given us a bit more. I plan to read the next book in the series in hopes we see more about the hotel and where Mac and Cooper’s relationship heads mixed in. I wish their was an epilogue to just round it out. The love story is very cute and I enjoyed reading it thoroughly.

Amazing!. I always had such a hard time getting into Elle Kennedy books, but this one was amazing! I really hope she comes out with a novel about Even- his character was my favorite. This is a great read, I’m ready to try some more by Kennedy!

Opposites Attract with a Swoony bad boy. This is a brand new series and I am here for it. Do NOT mistake this cover for a light romance. Cooper Hartley is HOT! A regular town bad boy who is a twin. The scene in the first chapter drew me in and set the stage for the whole book. It's opposites attract... poor/wealthy. good girl/wild boy. If you like a little revenge, you'll see that here to. Despite their differences, they really could relate to each other in a lot of ways. Cooper's comebacks and banter was perfection. He really knew how to push Mac's buttons and she really deserved it sometimes. Part of this story is like a car crash waiting to happen and my heart was racing through a lot of it with all the suspense. There were characters that drove me nuts too. I can't wait for more!

Wow. Just Wow. I want more. More of all these characters.. I have no words. First. The cover looks like a deviation from Elle’s normal heat, don’t be fooled. It’s f-amazing. I. Loved. This. First. I love Mac. Like for real. She’s so… everything. Second. Cooper. Yes, please. I love all the dynamics at play in here. Felt a little like a mild cruel intentions meet OBX and had a Dawson creek baby. If that made any sense to you, you will love this. And if not. You’ll still love it. Small town, touristy town. Wealthy few and townies… i revenge plot that goes sideways and a strong chic who is, like I said before, everything. Highly, highly recommend. Best of 2022 shelf here this one come.

I want my money back. It’s embarrassing how easily this author justifies the stupidity of the female protagonist and the wretched behavior of everyone else with some anti-climactic “I did it cuz I love you” - which of course, makes everything ok. I want my time, my money, and my faith in female authors back.

So So Good—4.8/5. This was honestly such an amazing read! I could not put it down, even in the early hours of the morning. I just wish there was an epilogue, the ending is a bit cut off. I needed the closure with the hotel, Mac’s and Cooper’s next steps in the relationship: engaged? moved out?, and some common ground (or even friendship) with Heidi.

Good Girl Complex. This book is probably one of my favorite romances of all time. Pleasure, deep love, and scandals is all rolled up in Good Girl Complex. Sometimes it does get tedious when Mac and Cooper break up, then reunite, then break up again. However, it is very easy to get over that fact when the book is an overall 5/5. I think a lot of people didn’t like the ending because it felt so abrupt and I agree. Many readers wanted an epilogue to see what happened to the hotel and Mac and Cooper. I think Elle Kennedy didn’t add an epilogue because she is writing the next book, which is coming out in November, 2022. I can’t wait for November!

I’m a fan!!. Love this book, characters, and cute college town on the bay. You become very invested in the characters from the very beginning.

Great read!!!. I absolutely LOVE Copper and Mac’s story! Oh my goodness! I read it in two days, just couldn’t put it down. I do wish there was an epilogue, though. I feel like I need to know what was going on with them a few years later. The hotel, Coop’s work, did they get engaged, pregnant. Ahhh!

A very boring book. I’m usually able to hang in with any book until the end. Not this one. Eleven chapters in and I don’t care about a single character or the outcome.

Cringey writing. I get people seek out this ‘guy is dared to get the girl but ends up falling for her and eventually she finds out but ultimately they end up together’ trope, but the over the top “we’re poor so we stick together like family, no one messes with us… cause we’re poor and we know how to fight” was really hard to read and honestly I could not stop cringing😫

Letdown. I bought this book because Elle is an auto-buy for me. I LOVED her Off Campus series. Unfortunately, this book did not live up to the high bar her earlier books set. The characters in Good Girl Complex are believable and somewhat interesting, but their interactions with one another were a bit disconnected. The character’s introspections had some depth but the actual conversation did little to indicate the connection between people who are supposed to have close bonds. And the steamy parts were so blandly written, they could’ve been found in a Nora Robert’s book. Ugh. Will not be continuing with this series. Such a bummer.

Easy read with a decent story line.. Good story line, easy read and the ending didn’t feel rushed.
