Amazing. Okay, who doesn’t love a good home renovation show? Throw in the loveable Wyatt and the hard-working Deanna and this is a must read! The chemistry is palpable and the writing brings a great tension to the book. I really felt like I wanted to watch this ‘show’ and see the house from start to finish… or maybe I really did in my mind’s eye from Kait’s amazing writing…hmmm. Oh yes! I wanna live in this story forever!!. Sure, the hot guy with a tool belt was amazing. But the house! Oh, the house!! I had my first moment of wanting to stay in this story forever when Deanna saw the staircase, and “laid her hand on the newel post, running her fingers over the gorgeous millwork hidden beneath about a million layers of paint.” Then she pictures “fresh greenery garlands on the banister for some future Christmas.” And to make it all happen with DIWyatt? Wow! And the story didn’t disappoint. Deanna and Wyatt are remarkably suited for restoring the awesome house as well as their personal challenges. As always, with the Misfit Inn bunch, family is there in droves for each other! Through all the craziness there’s laughter and thoughtfulness, and chemistry off the charts! Yes! I wanna live there forever - like I wanna live in “Love Actually “ and “The Holiday”. Great story!! Can’t wait for the audiobook version! DIWyatt and Deanna. Wyatt is the host of a show call DIWyatt which he produces himself for an online following. Deanna one of my favorites is in PR for celebrities that think they can do no wrong, not show up and overall cause Deanna a lot of stress in her job fixing their mistakes. Deanna is also divorced from on of these up and coming celebrities. One night after a few drinks Deanna ends up buying a fixer upper which is something she has longed. After an unexpected water leak and a chance encounter with Wyatt they end up with a bit of a trade. Deanna will help Wyatt with PR for his show to get notices for the networks and Wyatt will help her fix up her new home. Things are sparking between them but both are afraid to admit to it because they are both hurt from their past. Once they admit feelings, get a shot at hosting a party for a network there is another massive water leak that destroys what have been completed. With only a week till the party they each think the other has given up after harsh words are spoken. Meanwhile neither is willing to give up on their dreams. In the end the network offer a change at a show, Deanna and Wyatt actually admit how they feel and end up in the dream house they designed. Lots of friends and family support in this book! LovedIt!. I just love this story! I couldn’t put it down with all the humorous interactions and romance between Deanna and Wyatt as they are working on a fixer upper. I really a really good laugh on how Deanne bought the fixer upper and then met Wyatt. Kait Nolan plays on Deanna’s and Wyatt emotions as they struggle in their careers and family relationship. Lovely installment to the Men of Misfit Inn series. Kait Nolan’s most recent book, Don’t You Wanna Stay, is another great small town romance novel with a HGTV-esque close proximity twist. It’s the fourth installment of the Men of Misfit Inn series. Deanna James feels stuck in her life - in a job she doesn’t love, paying alimony to her ex-husband due to an unfair divorce settlement. Her parents look at her like she’s a walking disaster that never makes a good decision about her future. • Deanna finds herself the owner of a complete fixer upper in Tennessee- enter Wyatt Sullivan, popular YouTube contractor of DIWyatt. Wyatt feels stuck in some ways, too, and without a new project to tackle as he tries to show that he has what it takes to land a network show. As they work on the house together, sparks begin to fly - and they may just find exactly what they need in each other. • Deanna and Wyatt complemented each other perfectly and I was rooting for them from the very beginning! The book was a quick read and I found myself smiling throughout. It was pretty low-angst and I really enjoyed seeing some updates on previous Misfit Inn families, as well as being introduced to new characters, too. I enjoyed Deanna and Wyatt’s love story and love how Joans kids are always there for each other. So much fun, charming characters and a gripping story. I absolutely loved this book. It was great contemporary romance, with charming characters and a gripping storyline that had you hooked from the start. It also was a fabulous premise - I love the DIWyatt concept, and the lead characters renovating an old house (I am also a big fan of Property Brothers and other shows like that). I was so much fun, and you felt the connection to the story and the characters, as well as between the characters from the very beginning. I couldn’t put it down. You know when you’re in a book that doesn’t work, you don’t want to give up on it, but everything is a distraction and you find yourself rereading pages? Well the arrival of this advanced copy was the ultimate distraction. I’m a huge fan girl when it comes to anything Kait writes and I was so pleased this book didn’t disappoint. I loved the Misfit Inn series and the men of misfit are not disappointing. This story takes you on a journey of mending not only a broken house, but a broken spirit. Deanna had sworn off men after her no good husband turned out to be, well just that, no good. Wyatt is to busy trying to build a career to prove himself to let anyone into his life. But a drunken purchase of a wreck of a house brings them both to realise that there are chances in life worth taking. Can they bring love back into their lives, whilst falling in love with the house? Of course they can, this is Kait Nolan the queen of romance, but it ain’t smooth sailing and there in lies the magic. I flew through this book and loved every minute of it, now I’m back to my original book, finding all the distractions, I never give up on a book, but this one is pushing me to my limits. Well thought out. Loved catching up with some of the previous people in the Misfit Inn, and also making new friends with Deanna and Wyatt, The way Deanna purchased the house classic, and then her meeting Wyatt and the build up to their working together. Entertaining. Kait Nolan is a relatively new author to me, although what I have read I have enjoyed. When I read the blurb I knew I had to read and review this book as it intrigued me. This was a quirky romance that had laughter and steam and was an easy read. I fell hard and fast for Wyatt Sullivan, he is totally swoon worthy and an all around great guy and Deanna James is a strong, feisty woman who deserved to find happiness and love. Wyatt is desperate to make his latest venture, a YouTube channel DIWyatt a success and turn it into a home improvement show, all he needs is a break. When he agrees to help Deanna fix up the old house she purchased in exchange for her allowing him to film the renovations, not only does she agree but Deanna offers to use her PR connections too. As the renovation become more and more involved it is obvious that there is a strong attraction sizzling between Wyatt and Deanna. Will they be able to ignore their feelings or is this renovation about to get complicated? Both have baggage, could they have finally found the person who will make them whole again? I loved this story and I will be checking out the other books in the series as soon as I can.

Swoon! I don’t know whether I loved Deanna or Wyatt more. Swoon! I don’t know whether I loved Deanna or Wyatt more. Or if it was the particular combination of them together that did my heart in. Like Deanna, I have an addiction to those same home renovation shows. Unlike Deanna, but perhaps a little like Wyatt, I’ve been part of those kinds of construction projects since I was very young so, I know exactly what kind of mammoth undertaking they had on their hands. I adored watching this pair in action; seeing them peel back their layers of defenses as they stripped away the years of grime and neglect on that old home. Restoring the beauty of Blackborne Hall as they dealt with their own personal family dramas. It felt like the message of this book was a lot about being willing to make your dreams come true and healing those things that are broken. I may have only just finished this latest offering in the Men of the Misfit Inn, but I’m already counting down the hours until I can get my hands on the next one.
