It was Fae Metal but he was the strongest Dark Fae they have ever known!. Oh my god!!!! The battle in the beginning had me holding my breath. 😮‍💨Cole’s strength and love for Lexi is so unbelievable. Maintaining his strength for the sake of his people is inspiring. The way Brenda describes his eyes changing the wolf part and Fae parts fighting for control. I can really see it in my head. The description is perfect. Cole reveals something he has never revealed to anyone before. Shows the trust, faith and love he has for Lexi. You will not be in awe with this story. The strength and unity They have a true love story makes you want to keep reading and your holding your breath waiting for the next book!!!!

What an amazing read!!!. I got this book in exchange for my honest review this review is 100% mine Let me just say from the beginning of the book I was hooked I was going in to work reading til the last second because I didn’t wanna put it down! It’s that good! Lexi and Cole are in love but still have many obstacles they have to over come. There’s a new dynamic to their group as well and I see romances in the future for some of them! This is the 3rd book in this series so make sure to start with book 1 Shadows of Fire! Brenda K Davies has once again inthralled me with her books I really hope more people get the chance to read her books but once you start there will be no stopping this is truly one of my favorite series by her. Lexi and Cole are such amazing characters that your able to connect to and understand there is so much depth in this book. If you love supernatural creatures you will truly love this book!

Sooo many Secrets. This is an incredible series! Book 3 has many secrets revealed that I’m afraid if I say too much I’ll spoil it for others. So I’m just going to say this is a must read! The characters are super hot, even some of the characters, you want to love to hate, but can’t. It’s an exciting Fae story that mixes a lot supernaturals together. You have to read this series!!!

Fast paced and action packed. Hello War! As the new king of the dark fae rises challenges are at every corner. The dragon king is crazier than ever and we get our first real understanding of the true connection between Cole and Lexi, and let me tell you WOW! Do you like supernatural creature Who are fighting for the right to live let me tell you this series is IT!

Anticipation. This was such a hard book to finish…only because I didn’t want this installment to end! The author is so good at crafting tales that leave us begging for more! As the story develops more and the plot twists and secrets revealed I am invested and intrigued as to how this will play out. What more could a person ask from a tale? A dark alpha king, his soon to be mysterious queen, a fight between good and evil and the fate of all magical creatures…did I mention unicorns and dragons?! This is turning into an epic new age fairytale! If you are considering reading this series, DO IT! You will be swept away and be hard pressed to put the books down!

Fantastic! Can’t wait for the next book!. The third book in this series did not disappoint! I was literally on the edge of my seat while reading as I so drawn into the action of this book. I love Cole and Lexi their story is fascinating. There were so many revelations in this book, total nail biter to the end!

So bloody brilliant!. The story continues with more action, more romance, and more answers! Since finishing the second book, I could not wait to get back into Cole & Lexi’s story and Brenda Davies did NOT disappoint! You start of right away with getting answers to the ending of book two, stuff I definitely did not see coming. I loved having all the different POV and getting to know the new characters. Oh my gosh, Varo is one of my new favorites! He seems like such a sweetie! There’s lots of action, lots of answers and questions and more answers and more questions (but not overwhelmingly so). The story and writing keep you intrigued and you really feel for the characters when they are struggling with stuff. I can’t wait until the next book comes out to see what’s going to happen to both Lexi and Cole- they are turning into such a mystery with so many unknowns!

Loved it. Holy Crap, Shawdows of Betrayal was epic!!! From page one I could not put my kindle down and ended up in a reading binge. I think this is Brenda’s most epic action packed book to date, again there was crazy visuals for me and crazy scenes!! The side characters story was crazy good and had me just as involved as if it was Cole and Lexi. This series is on of her best ones to date and I can’t wait for the next one!!!

Awesome read!!. I absolutely love the way the author has the female characters strong. They are powerful, fierce, don’t need a man to protect them. And the HOT aspects are scorching. This book divulges some shocking parts you won’t see coming. Which is a good thing. Cole and Lexi are an awesome couple. Both strong and tender. I highly recommend this book to all. Enjoy!!

If You’re Not Already Addicted, You Will Be…. We've all had a book that we just couldn't put down and Shadows of Betrayal is no exception. Brenda K. Davies does NOT disappoint... ever. I literally would wake up in the middle of the night to read the next chapter or three. (Who needs sleep?! Not me LOL) The sneaky plot twist from the end of Shadows of Discovery fueled my eagerness to continue this ever-developing story of discovering magical secrets, fighting for love, justice and power, and even making new alliances or relationships. Oh and don't ever forget the dragons! (I got a kick out of seeing that there were Sasquatches in one of the realms too.) Cole and Lexi's quest to stop the Lord's pyschotic tyrannical reign requires absolute secrecy and the utmost care in every move they make. Every chapter seems to bring yet another obstacle in their path to bringing peace to all the realms. You're just going to have to read this amazing book to find out what happens next!

Shadow Realms Series. Cole and Lexi’s story gets more complex as the story builds. Twists and turns will keep you turning the page and wanting more in this fun, fast paced, adventurous and steamy series. Brenda K Davis keeps getting better and better with each book she writes. Can’t go wrong reading a book by this author.

So SO good!. Each book in this series has taken us deeper and deeper into the Fae realm and this third installment certainly doesn’t disappoint! Shadows of Betrayal is the continuation we’ve been waiting for. Brenda developed amazing characters that I could not help but connect with and created such a descriptive and enthralling realm of the Fae that I could not stop reading. I was so invested in these characters that I could not put it down!

Where do I even start? So. Good!. Completely gripped from page one, this book had me on the edge of my seat! We’re given SO much in this round of the series. Some I kind of expected but others were twists I never even considered. This book was filled with mystery as I questioned who was truly a friend or who was foe. I didn’t know who to trust anymore. I’m anxiously waiting for the next book and I am so excited for it!

Absolutely brilliant. Loved every word. I couldn’t wait to dive into Shadows of Betrayal. This book is truly an amazing read. I loved every page. Lexi and Cole continue on their journey to find a way to defeat the Lord. However Cole has new issues to deal with. He thought they were allies but a rebellion has been formed and the new dark Fae king has to prove himself Secrets that have been kept for a lifetime are revealed and boy do they shock. Packed from beginning to end with action, edge of your seat moments. I loved loved loved it. I’m so excited to see where book 4 takes me

Amazing yet again!. I don’t know how she does it but Brenda k. Davis has done it again! I couldn’t put this book down. She had me hooked from the very beginning, a magical adventure that I never wanted to end. The main characters in this book are perfect for each other but I also love the way Brenda makes you feel for the supporting characters and makes you fall in love with them too! I can’t wait for the next book, I NEED to know what happens!!!

No depth. Characters are 2 dimensional. Plot line thus far has been predictable.

Enthralling. Couldn’t tear myself away from the first 3 books and can not wait for more of Lexi and Cole. This book has everything from supernatural beings, magic, dragons, war and love.

4.5 stars!. I’m really enjoying this series so far and I’m happy to have several more books in the series to read. The continuing story keeps a good pace, remains very engaging and somehow the romance is continuing to build. I probably would have given it 5 stars, except for the fact that this ‘book’ doesn’t have an ending or even a pause in the storyline. It’s hard to rate a book with no ending. Each book in this series is a direct continuation of the book before. This plot is still building, so this book feels a bit like a middle ground. But the story continues to move forward and build with new and interesting developments. Often, when books are in a continuous series, I start to get annoyed that the story has been stretched out and they typically start to drag on. However that hasn’t happened yet. I’m still very much enjoying Lexi and Cole’s story and looking forward to reading book 4.

Amazing. AMAZING series! If you love, twists and turns, the unexpected and suspense you'll LOVE this book! I swear my heart stopped beating and I stopped breathing a couple times. I can't wait for Shadow of Destiny!
