Great read!. Thoroughly enjoyed the multitude of characters, the twists and turns, and journey taken in The Match. Captivating enough to keep me peeled for three days! Can’t wait till the next release!

Confusing. Not sure how the match actually came to be….confusing. Kept me entertained but I’d love someone to tell me the links!

Great Ride. This man just doesn’t know how to write a bad book. I loved the character Wilde before and like him even better now. I actually slowed down reading this book because I so didn’t want it to end. Please write me another one, Harlan Coben!

Good Read, But Bewideringly Complicated. I enjoyed this book a lot. But I think the very complicated resolution, including an implausible villain (in that this person could not possibly have the strength to do what the villain does in one instance), softened what could have been a triumphant close.

Fantastic!. Couldn’t put it down till the end! One of my most favorite authors, never fails to give it the most enjoyable ride.

Left me unsatisfied. Great read, as usual for this author, but the concluding math was fuzzy and the familial connections fell apart for me. I finished the story with a “yeah, but precisely how?” All the dots were not connected to my satisfaction.

Terrible!. Desperately tried to get through it, but simply couldn’t do it—absolutely terrible. Story is stupid, none of the characters are interesting or relatable. I should have spent the money on a pet rock…

Great Read. Enjoyed every page. So much so, I finished the book over two days!!

The Match. Solid read. A little disjointed to me. Can’t believe Hester said’articulate.’ Wilde seemed to have all the money he needed but was not clear where it came from. Some good twists and turns.

Find a new editor and kill the book. The book is very complicated and difficult to follow. I was inclined to end it and start another. At the end, the author tries to tie everything together, but it is hopeless. The editor must be very smart if he can follow the story.

He gets me every time. Harlen always has a point in the book when you have to look away and say “that SOB did it again” he always has a plot twist that surpasses your intelligence

The Match. Decent read. Confusing at times. I’ve read better of Harlan Coben.

Contrived but still a good read.. Love Coben’s work. A great writer and storyteller and this one required it all. A complicated story with lots of characters many of whom just go by initials. Interweaving story lines from several perspectives and a little too neat finale. Not Cobin’s best but I still recommend it. He almost pulled it off. Take notes on this one!

The Match. Interesting and different type of murder mystery. It is definitely a page turner. The dialogue is very well done. The plot is a bit convoluted but the characters are endearing and realistic. The science is a bit baffling.

Surprise ending. …well at least I was surprised. Lots going on and loved all the different characters.

The Match. It’s a good story but rather predictable. May be worth reading.

The Match. A parable to anyone searching and trying to uncover truth in their lives. Perhaps those answers shine the light on the path to self actualization. Thrilling and poignant storytelling.

Disappointing. I have been a fan in the past, predominantly because of the Myron Bolitar series. This plot however was ridiculously convoluted and far fetched. Sorry I wasted time with this one.

Beyond five stars!. I read a lot for entertainment and rate a lot of fictions four stars, but they always leave me wanting. Harlan Cohen’s “The Match” is far beyond four stars in comparison. It is a gripping, engaging, twisting path of intrigue and emotions. You’ll be glad you read it!
