Classic. I read the box car children at age 6, looking for a book in the library about trains. Finished it again at age 52 with warmth in my heart and a grin on my face about the wonder of adventure with family.

Got me into reading. This book and the following ones were what gave me a love for reading. It was good to go back to it and read it again.

Love It!. I love this book!

Absolutely the best children’s series. I read these series in the 80s and 90s when I was little, and I still think they’re wonderful. There are a TON of books and I love them all. Anne of Green Gables and Boxcar Children are probably the best things you can ever read as a young girl :). (And anything by Joan Lowry Nixon if you love a mystery!)
