Fun shifter romance with some magic!. Entertaining series! Like getting more with the witches; even though they are shady, but I enjoy their magical elements. Vi’s coven has a meeting with a rival coven, so her coven leader wants the wolves to help with protection. Vi is tasked with getting the wolves on board because she already has an in with them, so Rowe ends up being the one for the job. There’s that connection between them instantly, but both are resistant to a deeper connection. Things are especially difficult when loyalties are tested. Fun danger, cool magic, sweet and spicy romance!

Excellent Read!!!. Author Kate Rudolph never fails to please and with her third entry in the Guarded by the Shifter series the intrigue and adventure surely ramps up! Leads Vi and Rowe are a hot toddy combination nestled within a perfectly paced and written narrative filled with witches, shifters, and magic. I absolutely enjoyed this bewitching, engaging read. Magic and Mystery. A romance that brings two together that may cause a lot of problems or a lot of heat. Vi is a witch and has worked with shifters before. Rowe isn’t your typical shifter. How he and the pack were changed from human to shifters is unknown and a mystery. But when Rowe is to take on the job of bodyguard for a coven of witches his life will get even more confusing and insane. When fate digs in her nails she doesn’t let go until these two submit. But an evil is lurking and killing. The mystery may just get them killed too as lies and deceit surround them.

Vi and Rowe. I just love Vi and Rowe!! They have some witty banter going on and the push and pull between the two is electric. Vi is a witch and her coven leader has sent her to fetch two of the werewolves to be bodyguards. Rowe is a werewolf and his squad was captured and dark magic was used on them to turn them into wolves. Him and his pack don’t know anything about the supernatural, so basically they are just winging it. Rowe and Vi are mates but they each are denying it. They are meeting up with a rival coven and there is dark magic a brewing. Will Vi and Rowe be able to defeat it? Will they finally give in to the temptation and mate?

A Different Kind of Shifter. This is the third book in a series and I read the first but have not read the second so I knew Rowe but not Vi. These books are different in that the shifters are newly turned and not the typical “He’s been a shifter forever and she didn’t know they exist” that most of these books are. Another twist is that she’s a witch. Hmmm. Interesting, isn’t it? Vi and Rowe are great characters and I really enjoyed reading their story. I will admit it took a bit to warm to Vi but I’ve heard if I had read book two I wouldn’t have been that way so even though it’s a stand alone, and you can 100% read it by itself, reading the first two books before do make it better. Since the first book is free, why not give it a go? I’m hoping there will be more to the series. Kate is a great writer and I love her alien romances as well. Great read.. This is the third book don’t really have to be read in order but I would to really get to know the characters and understand what is going on. There’s action steam and it just a fun read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book via Booksprout.

Stalking Magic. This is the third instalment in the Guarded by the Shifter series. The author has done a fantastic job of being Vi and Leland alive and off the pages. I loved reading as their relationship sparks and grows.
