Wow. Couldn’t stop reading. I was stuck. Great Read

Just meh.. Too predictable. I wound up skipping 15 or so chapters ahead to speed it along.

Not so Perfect. While I liked the story and enjoyed the narrative, there were too many “coincidences” , missed details, and timeline questions in the mystery of the story. No spoilers here, but it wasn’t the “perfect” crime.

Loved it!. So many twists!

Just do it. Well I didn’t see that coming until it slapped me in the face. Good read!

Just WOW. Absolutely amazing!! I used to be an avid reader and recently picked it up again, started this one and read it cover to cover in about 7hrs. It was so good, highly recommend

The Perfect Marriage. The book just keeps getting more and more implausible. The characters are not believable. In the end I did not care about any of the characters at all.

Love/Hate Relationship. I really enjoyed reading this book. I wasn’t a fan of the ending, however, that’s because I got attached to certain characters. Not because the book was written badly. I definitely recommended this book to my friends.

Good at the time. I gave this a three after I let it digest. While reading, I thought it was great. However, after thinking about it and the ending for a bit, a lot of things don’t make sense or line up with what happens throughout the book. Still a good book though and kept me engaged.

TWIST AFTER TWIST. I just started my journey with reading books and trying different genres. THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE..... WAS SHOCKING!!! It had me on the edge of my seat, wanting to read more and more ! The ending caught me totally off guard. I thought i knew how it was going to end so it caught me off guard. 10/10 would recommend! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT !

Not great. This book was weirdly written. Sometimes very disjointed and repetitive. Strange scenes never explained. And you really never like any of the characters. Not one truly good person in the bunch. I figured out the killer very quickly and finished the book quickly just to be done with it

Incredible!. One of the best thrillers I’ve read in a while. It had be hooked from the first chapter. Had me guessing from the start but definitely didn’t see the twist coming. The way it was written gave me chills!

This was one of the best books I’ve ever read!. As someone who lived in Manassas VA and frequented DC, I felt like I was watching live news reading this book. READER BEWARE, I couldn’t put this book down. I read from beginning to end in 13 hours hahaha. 10/10

Terrible. I don’t know if other readers/reviewers have never read a psychological thriller before, but this book is HORRIBLE. Horribly written, unbelievable charters and the ending is not worth the time to read the rest of the book. Don’t waste your money or time.

Kept My Attention. This book is a page turner and kept my attention.

Not for me. This story just isn’t believable to me- the way the characters acted isn’t realistic and many of the characters just aren’t particularly likable (or believable). It started off well but became cringey for me.

Good book. Very good read and shocks that I didn’t see coming.

Now that’s an ending.. While I found this book to be a bit longer than it needed to be, it was worth it. I was guessing till the very end but never did I suspect THAT. I love an antagonist female character and this was perfect!

STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING &’READ THIS BOOK !. If you haven’t read this book already GO READ IT !. It’s an amazing book! I couldn’t put the book down, I was hooked from beginning to end. I love the twist and turns in this book plus I finished it in 2 days that’s how invested I was in this book.

Thoroughly enjoyed!. I was in a reading slump for a good year! I read two Colleen Hoover books and didn’t care for it and I saw on a group FB page many great reviews on this book so I gave it a shot. I wasn’t too interested the first 50 ish pages but then it picked up and I couldn’t put it down! Like to the point that it’s 3 am, I work at 7 am and there was no way I could go to bed without answers. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in a mystery and a “who done it” I am so glad I pushed through the first 50 pages! Only giving 4/5 starts for the “slower start”

Okay story, amateur writing. The story was easy to get into, it sets up to be a great mystery. However the writing is painfully amateur. It writes from almost a child’s idea of what life is like, and instead of being shown things, you’re often just told them which makes it less believable. There are also an array of grammar errors which is frustrating. I thought the story was worth it until about halfway through. Then it becomes exhausting following the characters, Adam’s whiny and reckless behavior gets old very quickly. The way sarah prances around and everyone just worships her was very unrealistic. But I held on. Then came the ending. From the start I very much thought the story was Gone Girl-esque, the ending made me realize it truly was a terrible copycat of the book. There’s one important distinction, Gone Girl is beautifully researched, written, and intentional with every last detail. This story couldn’t be further from that. It’s filled with loose ends and plot holes. It’s so unrealistic that I’m convinced the author has never even heard of the criminal justice system. The ending makes no sense, and for us to have spent the idea book listening to Sarah’s POV, it really just makes the whole thing seem like a lie. There were so many extra characters, twists and turns thrown in there just for the element of “surprise.” But ultimately you get nothing from it. There’s no satisfaction at all. I’m convinced the people who love this book are the same people obsessed with “Verity.” Personally, I’d rather spend my time elsewhere. Im sorry to be so direct with my review, However I wish there had been someone this honest in the reviews before I spent my $10 (or however much it is) that I won’t be getting back.

Meh….. The twist ending is all that saved this book in my opinion. The author did little research and it was all so out of focus right up to the end. I always finish a book once I start it but this one was a struggle. I appreciated the ending just because “twist” made it easier to crawl through but honestly was not happy with how this book was written. A little more research into how police work, forensics, etc are actually handled would have been greatly appreciated and would have made the book so much better. The constant repetitive verbiage of how Adam felt about Sarah etc was boring frankly and slowed the story down.

Snooze. Too much coincidence for the plot to even have a shred of believability. Unrealistic time jumps to end the story.

Awful and predictable. The book started out okay, but quickly falls apart. The plot just drags, and the author goes on unnecessary tangents. I figured out who the murderer was early on, very predictable. The ending was terrible. Disappointing, terrible book. Wouldn’t recommend this garbage to anyone.

PLOT TWIST. My mouth literally fell open. I had my suspicions but then didn’t believe them. So when it was revealed, I was shook.

Wow!. I feel like there’s a lot of bluff and un-needed stuff in the book but overall I couldn’t believe the end. Was not expecting that!!

Great Writer, Predictable Ending. From the beginning, it didn’t make sense to me why Sarah was cleared so early on with no internal investigation. It didn’t seem at all “real life” considering my family is detectives and works for the FBI. Maybe this is why I found it unrealistic… The book was well written though, and is of good taste. I ventured from my normal authors and did love this book but just knew the ending. It was not like the book itself was terrible or the writer, although I wish they had a better editor from reading 5+ grammar or editing mistakes. It made me sad for the author who worked dearly on this book. It’s worth a read for sure and I bet most would LOVE this book :)

A must read!. I’m not a reader, unless I find something that really captivates me. Needless to say I finished the book in two sittings. I love the way the author wrote this novel from each f the main characters perspectives. The twists and turns throughout the book kept me wanting more.. I made my theories throughout the book of “who done it”.. and in the end I was not disappointed!!!
