Why Me. The author doesn’t bring the case to an end leaving you hanging so you basically are forced to buy the next book to see how it resolves.

Slow start….. Yep, starts off veerryy slow. Almost gave up on it. Once it turned interesting-towards the middle-things became heated and fast moving. Before I knew I was hooked…only to realize that it stops. You have to buy the next book to see what happens. I personally don’t like these types of books cause the writing always changes as more volumes are written and I definitely didn’t enjoy this volume enough to purchase more. Your choice!

Mystery. Great story but cliff hanger ending which I hate! Too much time invested reading to find no solution in the book just being directed to order anew!

Why me?. Very good first of a series novel.

Why Me. A mysterious video of a young girl getting murdered had Sarah at the police station. Ethan was also there and by chance chased her down to take a look at the video. Now they are trying to figure out if it's been tampered with, who the girl is and locate her body. Thomas Asher is a cop and his sister Starr went missing before the video with the murdered girl happened. He is seeing the woman who is in charge of the mansion Starr was staying in due to her contract with them. He is determined to find out where his sister is at and what happened. This has mystery, suspense, secrets, manipulation and so much more. This book grabs your attention from beginning to the very end. Well written plot and the characters are intriguing. This does end with a surprise ending and will make you excited to read the next book in the series.

It doesn’t end.. You have to get the next book. Not very realistic either. I don’t know why I kept reading.

Why Me?. Fast moving action with good characterization. FBI agent Charles has a missing girlfriend. He is called to LA to help with a similar case. Is this a case of sex trafficking? Another cops sister goes missing and another girl is murdered who just happened to be friends. Warning this ends with cliffhanger to entice you to buy the next book. I think I will!

Why me. Good story but hate when authors cut story short to create another book or two instead of completing the story line. Create a new story and carry on the characters with a new spin.

I wish it had an ending. I enjoyed this book until the end. I think it's disappointing when a book doesn't have an ending and they leave you guessing. I'm sure they just want you to keep buying more books in this series.

Also, any book that is written as an introduction to a series without providing a complete story is just fraud on the part of the author. Do not waste your time with this book. I do not usually write reviews, but was so disappointed with this book I just had to warn readers.

From the very first words on the page, I was hooked. From the very first words on the page, I was hooked. I can already tell that there’s a lot more going on than we’ve been let in on so far, and I’m feeling some similarities to “8mm”. The cases, the relationships, are as tangled as a drunken spider’s web. I’ve only just finished this book, but I’m already anxious to find out how all the pieces will fit together.
