Her Secret Sheik. I always enjoy her stories & I really liked this one, as well. Although I can’t fathom the lifestyle, I love that the characters are so human with the thoughts & feelings & insecurities that we all feel at some time or another. It was a wonderful, feel good story!

Her Secret Sheikh. This was one of my least favorites of her books. A lot of inconsistencies / editing errors that didn’t make sense. First, after the 20th bday party they agreed to email yo get to know each other but the next chapter says 2 years later and the story says they had been emailing for several weeks with the implication that they had really just gotten to know each other recently but in actuality it was two years? Then later on in the book it mentioned her mother died but nowhere else in the book did it say anything about that…odd when her mother was the one that pushed the betrothal and featured prominently in pushing Amilee towards Rían. Next, Amilee seemed to be a much stronger individual in the prior 2 books and beginning of this book and just faded away. Finally, this book spans 17 years? I’ve read all of Elizabeth’s books and this has hands down been my least favorite.

Past catches up to Amilee. I’ve been looking forward to Amilee’s story. She has been secretive and we get to see why in Her Secret Sheik. Amilee was betrothed to Sheik Rian al Sayed way back when she was 12, even then she could not understand why. Through the years Rian watched as Amilee became a beautiful woman. He has put off marrying her so she could go to college and have a life but now he is ready to make her his. They are both attracted to each other but Amilee does not think that they are a good match. Someone from his past keeps popping up and Amilee thinks she would be a better match. Love watching this relationship go through the up and downs.

Her Secret Sheik. This was a nice HEA story with the addition of a charming grandmother. The sheik is very appealing. I only gave it four stars because Amilee seems a bit immature for someone with that much education in counseling. It is a good fast read, however and definitely enjoyable.
