Cam and Chevelle. Cam really surprised me, I thought I had him all figured out but definitely did not. I loved how protective he was of Chevelle and how he never backed down to make her his. I always love these series and get so invested in them so it always makes me sad when they end. I feel so connected to all of these characters but am so happy about the new series and the time jump. I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Great end to a fun series. 4.5 stars This is the last in the Greene Family series. Hank was a widower with five kids who married Marla, who was a divorced mom of four. They ended up having a son together, so they ended up raising ten kids, altogether. Chevelle is Hank’s youngest. When she was five, she tried to find her brothers and ended up on thin ice. Her mother went out on the ice to get her. Chevelle made it back, but her mother died. Even with therapy. Chevelle has carried around that grief throughout the series. Chevelle is all grown up and running her chatter fishing service. Cam Baker is her brother’s best friend, and Chevelle’s childhood crush. When Cam is cut off from his father’s wealth, he is given a chance to redeem himself by establishing a new charter fishing company. This leads to a business rival/ brother’s best friend romance. Overall, a fun read. I’ve loved the Cam/Chevelle dynamic throughout the series, and their story did not disappoint. I received an arc of this book from the author for my unbiased review.

They saved the best for last!. Hands down, Cam and Chevelle's story is my very favorite Greene couple of the series! I was almost disappointed that Xavier and Clara's story wasn't saved for last, but having Chevelle be the last Greene to fall was so much more fitting. Cam has been a fixture in Chevelle's life since she was a child. In fact, he's the person who comforted her after the death of her mom. Not that her family didn't, but he was her rock, even at age 10. Their relationship has been slightly contentious over the years...since she was hiding a crush...but never mean and a whole lot flirtatious, because that's who Cam is. Or at least, that's who he portrays himself to be. But as we see in their story, there's a lot more to Cameron Baker than the rich kid working for his dad. And Chevelle has more hidden guilt than previously thought. So there's more than a few revelations revealed as they get closer to a more personal. Cam and Chevelle are funny and sexy. While he's a prankster on occasion, Cam is not mean or malicious. He always has Chevelle's back, even if she might not see it. And he loosens Chevelle up in a way that no one else, including her family, does. They just fit. I love their banter but I also loved those quiet, bonding moments that they share. And of course, that ultra hot chemistry! I know there's a holiday novella coming out soon, to catch us up on the Greene's in the future, and I'm sure they'll pop up in name, at least, if not in cameos, in other Piper Rayne books. But I'll miss those Greene-centric stories now that their series is coming to its close. It's been a wild ride and I'm so glad I was along for the whole thing!

Phenomenal. I have read almost everything available from these authors and each couple is unique and their stories are so warm and heartfelt. I love the way this one completed the Greene family series so perfectly with the romance, the emotion, the laughter and that wonderful Alaskan scenery. Thank you so much to you all and your team for once again making beautiful magic on the page.

My Brothers Forbidden Friend: Book 9 Green Family series by Piper Rayne. What a wonderful ending to a fantastic series . This is Cam and Chevelle’s story and so emotional and heartwarming . I loved this book it brought so much together and a family full of love for each other .

Ending the series with a BANG! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic's Read. Cam and Chevelle round out the ending for the Greene series, and its perfection. Cam and Chevelle have always been drawn towards each other. They hide behind their attraction with angst and banter. But one day it breaks... and Cam has to convince Chevelle that they are worth the work it and take that chance. 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

C as m and chevelle. I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is Chevelle's story, and I absolutely adored it and I loved watching her battle it out with Cam. In addition, they end up becoming roomies and that's when this books hotness and romance really comes out and I loved watching these two falls hard for each other. Cam and Chevelle have known each other forever and he has always held a very special part of her heart because he was there when her mother died saving her life. But Cam is also Chevelle's brothers Fisher's best friend and so while he has always wanted her, he has tried hard to fight his feelings for her. In trying to deny their feelings Chevelle has picked the worst guys and when her latest would-be boyfriend prospect causes Cam to defend her, his father ends up telling him he needs to grow up and earning his keep. And that's how he ends up being Chevelle new roomie and running a boat that is also one that competes with her for the marina's customers. And when they decide to make a small challenge well that's when the mischief and shenanigans begin, and I fell hard for these two and could not put this down. This is a wonderful way for the series to end and I am so sad to say goodbye to the Greene family. I absolutely adored their story and Cam and Chevelle are definitely my favorite couple in this series.

Fun book. Overall, I liked this story between Cam and Chevelle. The pranks made me laugh and highlighted the easy relationship between the characters and their families. The “taboo” relationship between Cam, the best friend, and Chevelle was done well in that their affection and love for each other was clear even before their relationship graduated to the romantic side. Certain parts felt a little slow but overall, I rooted for this couple to get their HEA, all with a smile throughout.

The best was left to last. Just when you think you have read the best from the Greene family this writing duo throw a spanner in the works with their next hero and I fell hard and fast for Cameron (Cam) Baker. You knew it was going to takes special guy to win Chevelle’s heart because this man not only needed to win her over he also needed to win over her brothers so who better than a brothers best friend. We have met Cam before because he is Fisher’s best friend but now it’s time for him and Chevelle to get their own book and what a wonderful, witty journey they took us on. I loved this couple but what took this book to another level was watching then grow as their story unfolded. They had an unspoken love but they danced around their feelings and it took time for them both to be on the same page at the same time so now it seems this is finally their time but how will Fisher react when lines are crossed……one click to find out. This is the final book in The Greene Family and yes I was sad to see this series come to end because this family and their partners feel like family and I will miss their antics and their laugh out loud moments but I know I will never forget thus family and I will certainly read this series again. The chemistry is scorching hot, the banter is witty and lets not forget the grandmothers hilarious antics. This was the perfect story to end thus amazing series on.

The Greene Family. I absolutely love this series of stories but this was definitely my fave! 💜 So true to life with love, loss, resilience and great advice at the end. Think I’ll have to read the whole series again! 🥰

Wonderful!. What a wonderful book by Piper Rayne! I love this series and I adore a brother’s best friend story and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. Well written and oh so good.

So good. Every time I finish a Greene Family book I have a new favourite but Cameron (Cam) Baker has knocked them all out of the running. From the first chapter I was in love with him and that only increased as this superbly written story unfolded. We have met Cam throughout this wonderful series as he is Fisher’s best friend and has been for many years. My Brother’s Forbidden Friend was a great addition to the series. I loved everything about this book particularly as I have been waiting for Chevelle’s story for ages. The banter was witty, the chemistry scorching, the grandmothers outrageous which all made for a laugh out loud, entertaining read that ticked every box for me.

Exceptional read. 10 stars!. Wow! My Brother’s Forbidden Friend is the most heartwarming, funny, wonderful story and an epic conclusion to the series! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Its also one I have been waiting in anticipation to read. Chevelle and Cam’s book is one helluva ride. With so many feels! Sizzling tension, witty banter and the antics from the grandparents, I laughed alot! The words, the characters and the support from the families, sent my emotions into turmoil, making this one of my absolute favourite stories of the series. Not much more to say other than I would highly recommend you read the Greene Family series, each book the duo writes, gets better and better each time. Exceptional read, they definitely saved the best for last! My favourite quotes: “If life has taught you anything, it’s that tragedy can strike when you least expect it, so cherish every good thing and live your life to the fullest” “Live your life like there isn’t a tomorrow.”

I loved this book! This couple proves that the path to true love is difficult but so worth it!. I loved this book! Chevelle’s and Cameron’s love for each other has evolved through all the books. This couple had to deal with a lot of heavy issues: guilt, expectations, self worth and to finally forgive themselves, move on and trust each other and admit that they love each other. Thank you Piper and Rayne for another amazing Greene family book!

Cam and Chevelle….worth the wait!. We have been teased about these two for the entire series, and I can say that Chevelle and Cam were absolutely worth the wait! I laughed so much with this story and the sweet moments were perfect! I loved Chevelle, her strength and independence and confidence was wonderful. Watching her point of view of everything that happens with her mother and when she was five was heartbreaking but also seeing her growing was beautiful. She had crushing on her older brother’s best friend since almost forever, she never thought it would turn into something real. Cam was such a great character. He was so protective, but also so gentle and caring with Chevelle. He knew exactly what she needed, and just wanted to be there and support her through this journey of life and help her heal. Cam is so much more than what people see when they look at him. I loved getting to see his true side, he passion and vulnerabilities! These two together are beyond fantastic! I loved the banter they shared, the funny moments was great! They have such a wonderful connection that has been there for years! They challenge each other and compliment each other so well. Let’s not forget the chemistry these two share, the years of tension, love and support. I loved watching as they came to terms with the true feelings and showed that to the other. I am sad that the series has come to an end, but I can’t wait to the Christmas novella and Calista and Rylan’s book coming next year!!

Cam and Chevelle have known and secretly liked each other for ages. After Cam stands up for Chevelle and gets kicked out of his place, Cam and Chevelle are forced to live together and their secrets are bound to come out. OMG!! This book went from humourous to extremely emotional at the drop of a hat and truly tugs at the heartstrings and brings the tears out. Cam and Chevelle have severe sexual tension between them and the push and pull between them is classic. I love the little pranks they play on each other. It is great to see all of the other Greene family members. Eric Michael Summerer was a nice new narrator for me. I will enjoy listening to him again. Stella Hunter did an amazing job as usual.
