Heartwarming. Keep Me Close is an emotional heartwarming story that is an entertaining read. Hallie and Chase have a first name only one night stand and three months later Hallie has a unexpected pregnancy. Hallie finds Chase a hotshot firefighter in Willow Brook and Chase wants to be there for Hallie and their baby. Family and friends from Willow Brook are interwoven throughout the story and our important to both Chase and Hallie. I loved reading Keep Me Close and highly recommend reading the book and series. Sweet and hot!. This is book 5 in the Light My Fire series and it features Chase and Hallie. These two had MAJOR chemistry! Too bad it was a “nothing but a first name” encounter. For me, this one fell short of the usual amazing story lines. It read like a very hot and sweet romance without any issues between virtual strangers falling in love. Don’t get me wrong, it was still a good read. It was just ordinary. I’m still looking forward to whatever this author comes out with next.

Keep Me Close. Great storyline and characters that will draw you in from the very first page to the very last. I absolutely loved Chase and Hallie together and the way they were with each other was amazing. Chase is a hotshot firefighter who is dealing with finding out things his mother did. He can't confront her because she died a few years ago. Hallie is a freelance photographer who has dealt with endometriosis. She took a drive to forget about the decision she needed to make and ended up in Willow Brook.

Great story. A story with lovable characters and a sweet romance that starts out with a one night stand. The emotional hook was a good one. The story was well written and very fun to read. An enjoyable read.

Fantastic Light My Fire romance!. Hallie lives in Anchorage and she has just been to the doctor. She has endometriosis so bad she was told it wouldn’t be easy for her to get pregnant. Hallie hasn’t been seeing anyone and she had decided to have a hysterectomy. Her mood is somber so she stops at Wildlands Lodge and Restaurant for the night. She is in the bar having a drink when she meets a handsome man. Chase lives in Willow Brook and after his mother died two years ago his sister Tiffany sent in DNA samples and when they came back Chase found out he had a different biological father. Chase is at Wildlands Lodge and Restaurant and met Hallie. He thought she was beautiful. They spent the night together having protected sex and it was the best sex either had ever had. There was a connection between them but Hallie didn’t want to exchange anything but first names. They both figured they would never see each other again. Three months later and Hallie finds out that she is pregnant. She is shocked as is her doctor. Hallie knows she has to find Chase to let him know. Hallie drives to Willow Brook, she knows he is a firefighter. When Hallie tells Chase that she is pregnant he is shocked but he automatically wants to be there for her. Chase still has issues with what his mother did. He is in the process of meeting his 7 half siblings, so there is a lot going on. Chase has thought of Hallie since she left and he felt like he missed something with her. Hallie thought of Chase a lot before she found out she was pregnant. Will Chase be able to get over his past issues regarding his mother? Will Hallie want to make a relationship work with Chase? Will Hallie move to Willow Brook? Will Chase and Hallie find love and happiness in Willow Brook? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Great characters. This book was really good. I really enjoyed reading Chase and Hallie's story. These two are so good together and the story starts off with a bang for sure. It pulled me in from beginning to end and really held my attention the whole way through. I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two come together and work things out. They are both really good people and it was awesome finding someone that fit them. I truly enjoyed this one! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I loved it. This is a fantastic story that centers around Hallie and Chase. They meet at Wildlands Lodge & Restaurant. Hallie received some health news earlier and she’s going to have a one night stand. No last names, one night only. They have a connection, but Chase finds Hallie gone when he wakes up. He wants to find her, but that would be breaking the rules. Imagine his surprise, when Hallie finds him and has some surprising news. Loved it. All I takes is one night to chance the course of ones life. For Chase and Hallie their lives are about to change in ways neither of them planned or imagined. It was great to be back in Willow Brook, Alaska. Having read the other books in this series, I couldn’t wait to dive in to Keep Me Close I really liked both Chase and Hallie, he is totally swoon worthy and I liked how feisty and sassy Hallie was. This is a slow burn, well written story and was a good addition to the series. There was some angst, plenty of heat and a relationship just waiting to blossom. The connection between Chase and Hallie was strong and their love built which was heart warming. The characters were easy to relate to and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop.

Unexpected outcome. Chase and Hallie's story shows that sometimes a mistake can have the right outcome. A one night stand with no strings attached results in an unexpected pregnancy. While Hallie is surprised to find she is pregnant she is also pleasantly surprised by how Chase reacts to the news when she tracks him down to tell him. Chase is dealing with his own family issues and this causes a bit of friction but in the end they get their HEA.

Sweet romance read. This is book five in Light My Fire series and they do not have to be read in order. This book is based around the relationship of Chase and Hallie. After a one night stand Hallie found out she was pregnant with Chase child. I found it to be a sweet read with just enough drama to stop it being sickly.
