Great memoir. Loved this book and how honest she was about a lot of her life. I’d compare her writing style and confessions to the Jessica Simpson book, which, if you’ve read it you’ll know is high praise. I didn’t know much about MS and I’ll confess this book doesn’t inform you a ton about it beyond the symptoms she has. Even so, I thought it was a great celebrity memoir.

Mean Baby. So sad and yet so uplifting. My heart goes out to Selma, both for her triumphs over adversity and her inner beauty throughout her battles. Too bad she never found the love of her life. Who knows how far she would have gone with that comfort behind her. Luckily, she had friends galore and they all seemed to have that same beauty she had, inside and out.

Mean Baby. Wow what a fascinating life !! Selma Blair is an extremely proficient story teller. I couldn’t wait to read this everyday… Hats off to her in her MS journey…hang in there we are all watching you and praying your symptoms subside. Brava Selma👏🥰

Truly captivating. I’ve never related to any one’s story as much as Mean Baby. Maybe not relating but understanding the inside voice. There are a lot of words in this memoir, that I myself could have written. It’s a journey of compassion and healing. Thank you Selma for this gift. It’s raw and honest. You my love, are helping me on my own journey to find peace and comfort with whatever may be happening inside of me. You’ve shown me how to fight because I’m worth fighting for. To not lay down and wait to die. Thank you.
