Ms Black has done a great job of creating characters and the build up to the finale! Do read it! You’d like it. Wonderful story!. I loved this latest story in the Reed Family Reckoning series. I have been a fan of Shayla Black for years. I can't get enough of her stories. I loved the interactions between Xavian and Corinne. Xavian has had a rough time lately with a movie coming out that speculates an event in his history. He is shocked when the sister of his former friend/enemy makes him an unique offer. He wants her and she had a crush on him. Will they give love and a real relationship a chance? An entertaining fake engagement romance story.. An entertaining fake engagement romance story. It’s so great to be back in Reed Family Reckoning series and with this newest addition you’ll get all the feels that Xavian story gives its readers. I enjoyed the wild ride with Xavian and Corinne relationship, it had its up and downs and will keep you invested in them from start to finish. What started as fake becomes more in this newest release that doesn’t disappoint.

Xavian Costa is one of my favorite Reeds yet!. I adore the Reed family, but Xavian Costa has to be among my favorites. This Reed family novel was a page-turner and spicy hot. The chemistry with this couple was all-consuming. Corinne is smart, ambitious, successful, and spunky. She is able to go toe to toe with Xavian with his financial wizardry, good looks, masterful bedroom skills, and cocky attitude. As usual, when a Reed man finds his match he falls hard and fast. I love that Shayla Black wrote a hero who was alpha and protective, but also gave his love the room to figure things out for herself and become her own best advocate. The statements that Ms Black made about living life in the spotlight of social media and how dysfunctional the reactions people have to someone else’s personal life are very on point. I will admit there were moments when I felt like I had read the story before, which is why I am giving this one four stars instead of five. There have been enough books in this series with a rush to a wedding at Keely and Maxon’s with an amazing night in the Honeymoon Suite. There are more things to do on Maui than that, and I would love to see this in future books in this series. Otherwise I loved visiting all my Reed family and friends and cannot wait for the next installment. I suspect that you will too. I hope we don’t have to wait for the last Reed brother to grow up for that to happen!. I am voluntarily submitting this review after reading an advanced complementary copy.

Perfection. Corinne and Zavian's story is dramatic, angst filled and will have your kindle smoking with the intense scorching chemistry developing between them. Zavian is one of the Reed family child and after being found a few years ago, he moved to Hawaii to be with his brothers and sisters. One day Corinne, his ex bff sisters shows up asking for help to get her trust fund which is controlled by her brother Parker to expand her business. Parker was Zavian's best friend in college and he slept with his fiance, who was a goldigger. Zavian agrees to be her fake fiance but when things take a different direction, Parker and her ex Riley come out of the woodwork to claim her back. However, Zavian is a Reed and he can be possesive, domineering when the things that he love is taken from him. Zavian will have to do the sales pitch of his life to get the girl! I love this family dynamic and the characters and I volunteered to review this story.

Bitter Enemies to Passionate Lovers. Xavian wants revenge on his ex-friend Parker. So when Parker’s little sister Corinne asks him for help, of course he says yes. But that yes develops into so much more. Oh, this story put me (and Corinne) on a rollercoaster ride - atmospherically high highs, crushing lows and some red-hot steam - I loved every minute of it. An emotionally gripping yet extremely cathartic book.
