Exciting. Oh. Wow. Now, I am not typically a big contemporary fiction fan (although, yes, this was a time travel novel, so it did also include historical portions), but I even enjoyed the modern day areas of this story SOOOO much! In fact, there was a greater part of the book that took place within the present timeframe than did in the past, unlike the first book in the series, Come Back to Me. And yet I still ADORED this one! Author Jody Hedlund is certainly going to stay on my radar for any future time travel books she may release! She handles it INCREDIBLY well! I have loved both of the books in her Waters of Time series so far and am expectantly looking forward to whatever she may have coming our way next!

Captivating. This is the second book in the Water of Time series. (And I do recommend reading them in order.) One of the main characters, Ellen, was miraculously healed from a fatal illness. As a result, her life is in danger, as scientists want to discover just how the healing came about. Ellen is captured and forced by her captors to cross time to the year 1382. When she arrives, she is immediately in danger once again, as an evil Lord tries to claim her for his wife. I don’t want to give anything else away about the plot. But I will say that story is fast paced and action packed. You will not be able to put it down. The author does a lot of research when writing each of her books, and it most definitely shows. I highly recommend both books in this series… And I would love to see them made into movies! :)

Captivating must read!. The second book in Jody Hedlund’s time travel series Waters of Time, Never Leave Me is full of suspense, romance, danger and intrigue. I never imagined that I would be a fan of time travel novels but Jody has me hooked on this series. I love Jody’s books. As a result I have expanded my reading genre list past just romance to YA, historical, time travel, etc because I’ll read anything Jody writes. The main characters, Ellen and Harrison made appearances in the first book of this series. Their appearance in the first book left you intrigued about them and hoping to find out more about them. Ellen is dying of the same genetic disease that her mother passed away from. Harrison is a paraplegic who has been in a wheelchair since the age of four. Harrison is desperate to find the flasks of holy water to cure both of them. Once he finds the flasks and both of them are free from their ailments adventures awaited them. I so loved this story and can not wait for the next one. This book grasped me, kept me captivated and intrigued with its suspense and romance. I felt so engaged with the characters and couldn’t wait to see how their stories unfolded. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher. Loved this 5star read!. Gripping, pulse pounding, swoon worthy, time travel romance! Pick up this book! I mean, looking at the cover, how can you not? Jody Hedlund’s Never Leave Me is NOT to be missed. Ellen and Harrison, oh my!! Ellen is bright and charismatic and dying, and Harrison cannot allow that to happen. Despite his wheelchair, Harrison is quite a catch and Ellen is just coming to see how much he means to her. The unfolding chemistry between these two is smoldering (while remaining clean). I love the elements of time travel and the creativity behind the science is so impressive. I found myself almost believing in the possibilities. I loved seeing the return of some previous characters. It would best enhance the enjoyment to read book one first. Everything is explained very well, but the story is just set up to be a continuation of Come Back to Me. Stunning and captivating romance!. This book was such an enjoyable read. The settings were incredibly vivid and I loved the bit of suspense in the plot that made this so hard to put down. The romance definitely delivers while also staying in the clean romance genre. I highly recommend this book.
