It was a very slow build up. Then book 3 ended but the story didn’t. I enjoyed reading these books, but hated the way it really didn’t end. What a total let down. I would have bought another book, but because the 3 books to get to this point was a slow, but fun build up, there’s no saying how many books I would need to buy to get to a satisfied ending. Sorry.

Liked her relationship with boss. As someone who loves it be irreverent, I really liked her sense of humor. He is okay, but doesn’t do her any good towards meeting work objectives.

Too Much. The author used repetitive phrasing and overdid the internal dialogue. It often took five pages for a character to answer a question. Meanwhile she or he was debating internally and dealing with the angst of choosing a proper answer. Unfortunately, I had no patience to finish the books. That is unlike me, but I don’t have time to waste.

Dragging it out. This entire book series could have been done in one book. This series is one paragraph written 100 different ways to say the exact same thing. Then you still don’t get to the ending. You have to buy another 3 books to get to the resolution. I won’t buy the others because I’m sure it’s again the same exact dialogue and theme. Not good.

The trials of a forbidden love. The personalities of the characters are so much alike that they can’t see they are fighting against each other and the feelings they have. It’s a wonderful story of two very strong personalities that just have to learn to work together to make things work out in the end.

I’m aware it was free…. ...but the writing and editing for this series was terrible. The character’s names are often misused/interchanged/randomly different and the spelling and grammatical errors just add to the cringeworthy-ness. Thr logistics as far as salary, plot details, and everything else read like it was written by someone who had never worked, lived, traveled, or read anything about anywhere or anything described in the story. I usually find the titles from this author to be entertaining, but I was just frustrated and annoyed with this series.

Don’t waste your time….. Very, very slow book. Constant repeating with a storyline that goes absolutely nowhere. Could barely finish the first book and didn’t even make it through the second book.

Too long- boring. I was more interested in the decisions over the business vs the characters- too many words, storyline is too long, boring even

Not her best work…. Why no ending??? It’s not one of her best. It has GREAT potential but needs work. The idea of the love story is there but needs at least 2 more books to finish the story. To many repeating sentences and the editing needs help.

Frequent errors and too slow paced. I’ve read some of Lexy Timms book previously and have liked them well enough but I’m reluctant to opt for one of her titles in the future in case I’ll set myself up for further frustration. I can overlook infrequent spelling or grammar errors in books, but the errors in this box set happened so frequently that it became an obstacle to enjoying the story. In addition to that, if I’d only read the first book (rather than downloading the three book box set), I’m not sure I would have bothered with the second or third. The story took too long to build and the main characters (Daniel and Eleanor) seemed to swing too quickly between building attraction and stoic professionalism. Then, after finally allowing the romance to develop more organically in the third book, the end left me feeling less like it was a cliffhanger to make me want to read on, and more like the brakes had been slammed on and we were putting it in reverse. The really irritating thing is, I don’t want to pay to read the next book in the series but I hate being left feeling like I’ve invested time in a story that hasn’t delivered on what it promised. Not the way to build anticipation for your readers.

Dreadful. Do not waste your money. I don’t think the author has ever visited the UK and London but based her characters on outdated stereotypes. No spicey food in London? British characters using words I, a British person, had to look up. And it defied belief that the main character, a self made billionaire, was so in awe of ideas from the American character. It was also obvious the author had no idea how much rich people spend on clothes etc. $1000 for a dress and shoes. Try 10 times that amount. $1000 would hardly get you a dress

Didn’t finish. Tried to like it but so boring and long winded….don’t bother.

No conclusion in three books!?. Loved the character development, but for three books to barely get into the “meat” of the story… disappointed. Wish I could get to the conclusions, but not worth another three books to get there.

Lovers in London. While the book is well written and engaging, it infuriated me to discover that you presumably had to buy and read the entire series to get to the conclusion of one story line. I hate books which don’t state up front that they aren’t stand alone! Shame on you, Lexy.
