Evie and Caleb. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)... 3.75 stars This story is about Evie (Jax’s sister) and Caleb (Jax’s best friend). This book picks up where Second Chance Scandal ended with Evie and Caleb in a very compromising position. I do love a good second chance romance especially when the hero has to redeem himself. Now I can’t lie I’d did totally love Caleb’s cockiness right from the start and how he wasn’t going to let Evie get away from him. I even enjoyed Evie completely standing her ground and denying anything serious between them. However, as the book progressed I was felt a little let down by both characters. Evie, in my opinion, never stood her ground when it came to Caleb and practically fell at his feet right from the start. Then we have Caleb, who truly did her so wrong and he never actually does anything to redeem himself and takes majority of the book to finally reveal his reasons. Honestly, his reasons seemed flimsy at best and the fact, that once he was divorced, he thought Evie would comeback to him with no issue was crazy. The man had broken her heart multiple times over 12 years! Also, for a man who doesn’t do lies, he was the lying master; as soon as things came to light that could have created problems 12 years prior that man started the lie fest of the century and never stopped. I absolutely adored Caleb’s children they were just so sweet and kind. That being said I did enjoy the story especially those plot twists that I did not see coming; although once revealed did make sense. I just needed more push from Evie and some actual apologies from Caleb instead of him bullying her into doing things and using his children against her. Now for the next book, Second Chance Rival, it will focus on Tristan, Caleb’s cousin and heir to the Hawkins legacy; however, it seems there is some not so nice history between Tristan and Belle’s families. Spoiler for me to remember: Although I am still lost as to how anyone found about Evie and Caleb and sent it to Jax; and that headline was crazy and outrageously incorrect. Another problem Caleb created and solved by paying them the ransom.

Holy Wow!. This book was so good I read it in 24 hrs.. it’s scandalous and sexy.. The kids are adorable and will melt your heart. I can’t believe all that Caleb and Evie have been through and there’s some shockers in there! I hope to read more about them in the following books.. This is a must read if you like M’s writing!

Amazing!. I absolutely loved this book! This was a quick and easy read, I read in a day and into the night. I couldn’t stop until it was finished. I loved the characters, storyline and all the angst. I loved the banter between Caleb and Evie, it was so back and forth. The drama kept you going for sure! The only thing is it got confusing between chapters when she went from past to now and trying to figure out timing. Otherwise this book was amazing and was a must read for me! I highly recommend this book!

Loved it!. Love a second chance at love story, add in a side of single dad plus a brothers best friend and I’m hooked! All the best and M. Robinson NEVER disappoints. Caleb and Evie’s love story will pull at your heartstrings from start to finish. All the feels and more!!! This book will hook you from start to finish.

Couldn’t put it down!. This book - like all the others - is absolutely amazing! I read it in half a day and seriously couldn’t put it down. It had young love, serious love, bickering, pettiness & a fantastically placed plot twist that brought it all together!

Angsty love. Evie is the little sister of football super star Jax, from Second Chance Scandal. And Caleb happens to be Jax best friend and agent. We were left with a little cliffhanger of the two of them at the end of Jax’s book, anticipating the story that these two have to tell. And that story, it’s a good one. Caleb is post divorce from Evie’s college roommate, who he had two children with (yes there’s a major story there too). He is in need of a nanny after going through several. He uses Evie’s agency and she decides after him firing all the others that she will step up for the role. She did not expect what she was walking into though. This second chance is one I didn’t see coming but loved every second of. I love how with this series M Robinson does a lot of flashbacks into the past and the love they shared then, but then also the heart break. It’s all sprinkled in right at the perfect times to fit the current situation. M Robinson brought her expected angst in this one. Caleb really is one to have to grovel to will Evie back. He’s lost himself over the years but Evie being back in his life is not only allowing him to find himself again but change the lives of those around him. Absolutely loved and highly recommend their story. I love how this series has been connected loosely each book to the next but all complete standalones. We do get a little scene with a glimpse and hint at Tristan’s story, and I can’t wait!

Wrecked in all the best ways. I received this arc for my honest review. M. Robinson has done it again and has given us something that will remain with us even after we’ve reached the end. I was hooked with the prologue alone and just couldn’t put it down. The rollercoaster ride is definitely one that you don’t want to miss out on. Evie and Caleb’s relationship is definitely a ride that once you get on you can not get off and you won’t want to get off either. The chemistry between them is scorching from the very beginning, the angst throughout the book keeps you on the edge of your seat and we’re given all the gut wrenching feels from beginning to end. And when the ride gets you to a free fall, oh man is it a free fall. Not to mention the unexpected twists that are thrown at you and leave you with your mouth hanging open. Then after all the ups and downs, and twists, you’re put back together with a nice pretty bow. Just an overall amazing read that you won’t want to end.

Their cute meet ends with Caleb coming to Evie’s rescue and this begins a hot and heavy fling that comes to an abrupt end with a major bomb. Now eight years later, Caleb is divorced and has custody of his two children. Despite being best friends with Evie’s brother he has avoided her completely. After a wild night together, he is determined to win back Evie’s love. When he needs a nanny for a three month trip to Spain as he opens an international agency and no other nanny seems to work out…Evie steps up to keep her agency’s reputation intact.

Loved it!. Loved loved lovedddddd! Second Chance Love by M. Robinson is the fourth book in the Second Chance series and it was incredible! The push and pull between the two main characters was addicting-I seriously could not get enough of Caleb and Evie. I never wanted their story to end. This story is on the lighter side for Ms. Robinson but it still packed a huge punch. Caleb was a charming alpha that had me falling head over heels in love with in like 2.5 seconds. Evie was a phenomenal heroine-strong, smart, and successful. Together they were magic. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!! Highly recommend reading this story!

Such a love story. I was given an arc for a honest review Evie meet the love of her life in Caleb, he was gorgeous, smart, sexy and commitment phobic???? He was supposed to be the love of her life, but he is also her brothers agent, and he refuses to cross that line since they are also best friends. Evie refuses to listen to reason, she wants Caleb and dang it she will have him, that is until he breaks her heart in a million pieces. Eight years later and Evie is successful, brilliant and as gorgeous as ever, but she wants nothing to do with me, not that I can blame her. I know I hurt her beyond repair, but I am going to make her deal with me. I want Evie and nothing and no one will stand in my way, least of all her, she doesn't know it yet, but she's mine. Caleb has come bursting back into my life, but I will not be blind like before, I will not give into this aching need for him that I have. I may not be over him, but I do not care I cannot have my heart broken again, I will not survive it. The story of Evie and Caleb is so thoroughly heartbreaking, and it killed my multiple times. I saw myself in her, the first-time head over hills blinding love that stays with you forever and you never quite get over. Ms. Robinson does it again and again with her words she takes our hearts stomps on them dances and then puts it back together in the amazingly loving way, it is both beautiful and evil. Thank you for another amazing book to read, love and live in.

MUST TBR. This book was full of love, hate and sexual tension. It was such a great read; I couldn’t put it down…which is par for the course with M. Robinson books. She always takes her readers on an emotional journey. There are times I wanted to laugh, cry, and hurl my reading device across the room. I loved Evie and Caleb in ‘Second Chance Scandal. But I have never wanted to shake two people so hard at times. More so Caleb because he could be such an pr$$K. Evie and Caleb had an instant attraction, she could have been the girl to make Caleb settle down, until they realize his best friend is also her half-brother. Caleb ends their relationship before it truly begins, even though they struggle to stay away from each other…they are drawn to each other as they push each other away. Then he does the unforgivable, which forces distance between them. Fast forward eight years, they are back in each other’s orbit and the push and pull begins again. Now Caleb is fighting for what he wants and true to form Evie is fighting him every step of the way. Their road to HEA was long and torturous at times, but sweet non-the-less. These two, love hard and with such passion. A MUST TBR! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Couldn’t put it down. As all of the other second chance novel I’ve read. I couldn’t put it down. On to the next one.

Read this in one day! Could read it all over again!. Second Chance Love had me swooning and cursing right from the start with Caleb’s dirty mouth and bossy, protective attitude! I read this book In one day and I could read it all over again right now! Evie is beautiful and young, but her sass and fire were just what Caleb needed and also deserved. I’m not going to lie, he drove me absolutely crazy one minute and I fell in love with him the next. He definitely rode that love and hate line straight down the middle that’s for sure! Then there’s Evie’s overprotective older brother Jax that made me roll my eyes and high five him at the same time. Thank you for the piercing by the way, M! The twist at the end I had a feeling about but when I knew for sure, it broke me too! Thankfully it also healed me at the same time! Amazing and Angsty!. First off, if you haven’t read the dedication then go do it now! One of the best dedications ever! #Epic Another amazing read from M. Robinson, this is the 4th installment in the Second Chance series and they are all standalone’s but would always recommend reading them all. Caleb and Evie’s story has everything you want and then some. The undeniable chemistry and angst will have you Rooting for them and yet wanting to throttle Caleb. I love M. Robinson’s ability to make you love, hate and laugh with her stories. As usual the banter/bickering will always be my favorite.

Sizzling second chances. Another great read! Its angsty, heart wrenching and sexy. I was completely captivated from the beginning as it takes you through an emotional ride. I loved the connection, the banter and sizzling chemistry. I absolutely loved this read! Get ready for a exciting ride.

It’ll always be you. I wanted to rage against Caleb so much at first....and then I wanted to rage at Evie and sometimes I wanted to rage at both of them at the same time. Second Chance Love tugged on my heart strings so much and I couldn't put it down because I had no idea where M. was going to take us next and it was truly a rollercoaster. I loved the journey this book took us on and the destination we ended up on.

Evie and Caleb…. Oh my!. From the very beginning, M. Robinson does what she does best - wraps you up in a story you cannot put down! This is the fourth book in the Second Chance series. It can be read as a stand alone, but I suggest you read these books from the very first one. Evie and Caleb's story is epic! You want to hate Caleb, but you know his love for Evie is instant and he will stop at nothing to keep his love safe. These characters will pull at each and every heart string but leave your heart so full! I absolutely adore M. Robinson's writing and this book did not disappoint!

MUST READ!!. Another amazing book in this series! I love second chance romance and the angst in this book. I swooned and felt the pain and happiness of the characters. Caleb had me falling for him with his “Darlin”. Evil is a great character and fit for Caleb. This series and book is a must read!!

3.5 Stars. Second Chance Love…. I have a love hate relationship with Caleb and Evie, and their story. I can say, it is most definitely a one of a kind story that almost gave me whiplash, because the Queen Of Angst struck again. So, I guess the best thing to do would be to start from the beginning WITHOUT SPOILERS, so here goes. Within’ the first 5% of Second Chance Love, I was seriously debating on chucking my kindle at the wall and make no qualms about it, my stance didn’t change lol. With each page turned, I wanted to rip my hair out even more. In general, this book hurt, but not in the ways one would think. There were surprises that I 100% did not see coming that nearly decimated me. I mean it was like I was hit right in the stomach, and it doubled me over. I just can’t even imagine. I truly loved the overall storyline, but I did struggle with the characters and that’s why there is a 3.5 star review. Caleb. I have never wanted to throttle a hero more. Now don’t get me wrong, I love cockiness to a point, I love the whole alpha dirty talker, but Caleb was on a whole different level. In my opinion, he never redeemed himself. He just pushed and pushed and pushed until he got his way. There was other issues I had, but I want others to make their own opinion on him. Evie. I was for sure she was going to be the heroine to peg him down but again, in my opinion she wasn’t. I felt like she tried to have a backbone, but that backbone wasn’t all that strong. It was like she was so dead set with how she was feeling, and he just nagged a little and she gave in. I feel like if she would have had a better backbone, the push and pull would have made this one a definite 5 star for me. Again as I mentioned, the overall storyline was really really good, so I truly hope others give it a chance because Second Chance Love is honestly captivating. This most certainly will NOT deter me from reading this authors work because her originality knows no bounds.

Loved it!!. Yes!! Monica has done it again. Evie & Caleb are so darn hot - I can't even stand it. Loved all of the back & forth between them. Loved the crazy electricity that kept drawing them back to each other. Loved that Evie stood her ground and didn't take any crap from Caleb. Strong heroines are like an aphrodisiac for me. Need them always! There was a crazy twist towards the end that I DIDN'T SEE COMING. Well done!

Evie is beautiful, strong, and caring. She is Jax's sister, from the third book in the series. Caleb is handsome, enigmatic, alpha, protective, and caring. Their chemistry is sizzling. Caleb's kids are so cute! This is a sweet and beautiful brother's best friend, and forbidden second chance romance. Looking forward to reading Second Chance Rival the next book in the series. I like this series!

Worth the fight. Needless to say I only slept 3 hours as M made me devour this book. I absolutely loved Caleb and Evie’s story. It has everything you would want in a book…lies, deception, manipulation wasted years. You will hate Caleb in the beginning. I thought he was a real douche but M has a way of making you fall in love with him. Evie my sweet and beautiful Evie fell for Caleb hard and he went and crushed her heart. After many years apart through deception they are brought back together but can the past rewrite history? Buckle your seatbelts as this is one crazy and amazing ride.
