Perfect in Every Way. This dystopian tale is perfectly paced, a world perfectly revealed, a perfect expression of human kindness and tragedy, perfectly dysfunctional. The pages didn’t flip fast enough with a new intrigue and adventure always a chapter away. The story is dark and heavy, but always leaves room for hope and a reason for optimism. The characters live in a microcosm of societal fatalism, but with enough light pushing in to allow the weeds of humanism to take root. I can’t wait to jump into the next!

Gripping story. I discovered this series on Apple TV and got obsessed! I couldn’t wait for the fifth episode to be released so I bought the book and binged it in a week. Now, I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

Excellent book!. When I started reading I realized I had started watching the TV series and had stopped because I didn't like it, so I dropped the book. However, one night I realized I had nothing to read and decided to grin and bear it and started to read the book again. Hallelujah! I loved it from the start. I couldn't understand why I didn't like the series, as what I watched was pretty faithful to the book, but whatever it was it was not in the book. I couldn't stop reading. I'm glad I did, although now I have to cough up some cash to get there rest of the other books that are going to be written about the different silos. However, it's going to take a while; Social Security does not pay enough for me to pay for all the books I want to read. Still, I'll get to them... promise.

Can’t stop reading….. Couldn’t stop reading this book. I might have to re-read! I’m halfway through the second book in this series, and there’s so many clues I wonder if I’ve missed. I love the way he writes. So easy to read, fascinating dystopian stories that all leave you wanting to read more to find out why!!

Great book!. Watched the series on Apple TV+ and then started at Chapter 30 on this book. It continues the story well. Can’t wait for season 2!

You MUST read this book!. I really like dystopian books and shows and such.. and when I saw they were making this into a show I thought I better read it first!! I am so glad I did!! I devoured this book in a week!! Mom of 2 kids and a full time job… so that’s saying something!! I love the characters and the storyline is a definite thriller! The first character died and I was sucked right in but when the next one died and then the next… I couldn’t stop turning pages. It’s a little murder mystery added to the thrill! The writing style leaves you wondering more and more about the characters and the world they live in that you can’t help but keep reading. Best book I’ve read in a long time.

Hooked on Silo. I’m not a big reader, but there are always a few of those books you pick up and can’t put down. The ones you reread and forget you’re reading as you’re immersed in another world. This book is an absolute gem, so glad it was recommended because now I have a series to devour.

Couldn’t put it down. This a riveting tale of human drive and courage. Awesome read!

Wow. Fantastic book! This reminded me so much of the early seasons of “Lost” (in all the good ways). There’s so much mystery and suspicion. People that think they fight for right but fight for power and fear. The ending was a big shock in all the right ways!

Twists and Turns. Lots of twists and turns and the mysteries unfold!

Interesting twist on the post-apocalyptic genre. A good modern day interpretation of Plato’s allegory of the cave, if not completely followed through. If you want a post-apocalyptic book which makes you question reality, this is it. However, compared to the tv show it is low on action, more focused on the interaction between characters. The characters actions are not entirely realistic, but if you can overlook that then read this book. However, don’t expect the suspense and action of the show.

WOW. Amazing start to a great series. This all started from the Apple series and needed to find out what happened. Can’t wait to start on SHIFT.

Buying the second book.. Very much enjoyed the writing. Absolute page turner.

Great Book. Watched Silo on Apple TV and absolutely loved it. After a quick google search for any sort of information about a potential season 2, I found it was based on a book and absolutely had to read it. Very excited to start book number 2 here soon, and then the 3rd after that. Great job by the author. Highly recommended.

First book I’ve finished since high school. I watched the tv show silo on Apple TV and couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. I heard the books were great so I picked it up and couldn’t put it down. I hadn’t read a book in over 10 years and this novel has me wanting to read more and more.
