Righteous Prey. This book turned out to be a political statement on gun control. Disappointing Liberal agenda packaged as a book. For me the title is Last Prey.

Sandford delivers. Back on track. Good plot, funny and cynical dialogue, Lucas and Virgil working well together.

Another winner. More excellence from Sanford.

They never get old!. Sandford’s knack for weaving a masterful story with witty humor and gritty detail make this Prey story another phenomenal read. Lucas and Virgil again win the day. Well done!

Political manifesto. If I wanted a political lecture I’d watch The View. What’s with these authors who decide to stand on their soapbox?

Total let-down. Lucas and Virgil back together? I was expecting a great read… Maybe my expectations were too high. This was on par with Virgil’s first attempt at a novel. Interesting story but completely disjointed with underdeveloped characters. Maybe fulfilled a contract obligation? Didn’t seem like much effort went into this.

Great addition to the series. I’m rally loving this buddy act that Lucas and Virgil have going on! They rally balance each other but they are also hilarious when they are together. I feel like this book already is setting up the next one. It was heavy on the politics but didn’t feel over the top.

Righteous Prey. Way too heavy handed with the anti gun rhetoric. Especially since he has made a fortune off the killing done with guns by his protagonists. Also laughable is his take on the media considering he was a newspaper writer.Stick to the formula or write something original

Too politically inclined. I read to escape, not to rehash real world craziness in fiction. Unfortunately the plot centered on the extreme left and extreme right of politics. The incessant mention of political views was aggravating. Didn’t read past the first 16 pages. To bad because I usually like the author.

2 great characters, 1 great book. Another complete winner!

Great as always.. Plenty of humor and lots of gunplay.

Righteous Prey. The author has turned my favorite series into a grandstand for his political ideology. WOR a conspiracy theory radio? That would be funny if it weren’t so idiotic. Anyway, I’ve read my last Davenport novel…kinda makes me sad.

Another great Davenport strory. Great story that had me sweating out what was going to happen to these characters. Another wonderful visit with Lucas and Virgil, I read every book Sanford writes and look forward to each release.

A Very Topical Story. This story has an almost unbelievable scope. The scary part is that all of the elements are really believable and that is terrifying!

Meh. A let down. Well John Camp let his ego get the best of him and let his politics be inserted well into the narrative here. Too bad.

See below. Sanford has gone to woke. Now anti gun liberal from Minnesota, who blames people being able to exercise their 2nd amendment rights. Even with main female killer in plot getting killed by crowbar. Bad ending with killers still out there. Guess I’ll have to wait to see next prey novel .

I’m A Diehard Davenport Fan But. I don’t like him when he pairs with Flowers. Instead of the riveting leader, he becomes an aging sidekick. Not my favorite Davenport.

Righteous Prey. Ok thriller. Sandford lets his left wing views take up to much time.

Cashing checks. Not writing.. At this point he’s just writing or having someone else write for the money his name commands. I miss the old writing. I had to slog through the second half of the book. It was just bad.

Fast Pace Page Turner - doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been a fan of this series for years and love that Letty is the feature character now! Hope we get more stories quickly.

A bit political but great read. Enjoy Lucas and Flowers together.

What a story. Scary, believable action. An even scarier story taken right from the current political turmoil and the pandemic. I’ve read every one on Mr Stanford’s novels and this is one of the best.

Superb!. Outstanding. I did miss seeing some of the characters inn the marshals service that have been with Lucas

Always good. This was a great book like all Prey novels. However, this was a Lucas Davenport novel & the main focus should be on Lucas. I like Virgil Flowers novels but Prey novels should be about Lucas & his skills. I’m biased & prefer Prey novels because Lucas is my all-time favorite character.

Righteous Prey. I am a huge fan of the Prey Novels. I have read every one and look forward to the new one being released. However, the anti gun preaching in this book is ridiculously obvious and completely unnecessary. Especially, considering the protagonist has murdered people in previous novels (which I did not have an issue with because they were all bad). When I pick up a book, I do not want to be preached to by either side about Political issues. I want a break from all of that crap. Very disappointing.

Tired writing. Not fast paced, not suspenseful, and not clever.

Disappointing. I have read all of the Davenport and Flowers series and enjoyed them all. As a conservative Trump supporter I had to force myself to finish this trash.
