I also think that they are a master illusionist. 2: The place was made to keep Esyian in. 3: Vespera is actually not dead and is faking it. I mean come on, this is Vespera! She probably made a illusion of her dead body and light leaped away. 4: Keefe has another ability. Hmmmmmmmmm. Best book. This is the best book in the series and it’s action packed and humorous

I liked this book spoilers alert. But it could have been better I’m a sokeefe shipper as much as I liked chapter 42 I felt like there was something missing and glimmer identity reveal I was expecting to be bigger but I was a random girl with a sob story and to be honest I’m getting kind of tired of Sophie pov I wish we could switch it up and I was expecting a bigger battle scene in the book but all that being said I liked the ending who is Elysian and I hope tiana happens

Oml SOKEEFE happens it's the only reason my heart I still beating I've been waiting for this moment for ever an they finally admit their feelings and they KISS. 🥳 I started screaming and jumping for joy when I read chapter 42 (they kiss for the first time in chapter 42 page 451) and fitz got rejected by Sophie when she told him she kissed Keefe. 😱ok I kin O feel bad for fitz but he was a jerk an keefes the sweetest guy ever he deserves soph not fitz. If y'all agree with me put this in your review: 💖. Go SOKEEFE! Can't wait for the tenth book to see more momens from them. Baiiiii SOKEEFE shipper out. 👉

LOVE THIS!!! 🍡🍡🍡🍡🍭🍭🍭🍭. 🚨SPOILER ALERT🚨 Okay so I just wanted to say a few things about the book: 1. I’m super excited that Sokeefe happened, I would never forgive Shannon if she made Fitzphie canon, Flashback was enough suffering for the Sokeefe side of the fandom. I don’t understand what Sophie sees (or should I say: saw 😏) in Fitz. He has totally unrealistic expectations for her, has said horrible things to her, she’s literally afraid to do or say anything that will make him mad. He almost KILLED his own BROTHER. And in addition to that, he cares more about social standings and what others say about them than Sophie. If he really loved her, he would choose her over being a “good match”. Keefe doesn’t care at ALL about Sophie’s match status, and he’s always put her and her feelings first, even at his own expense, even though he’s had a WAY harder life than Fitz. Fitz has two parents and a sister who love him (well, Alden’s not the best in my opinion but still). Keefe has a verbally abusive dad and an evil mom that experimented on him. And HE doesn’t have any problem treating Sophie well. Even while she dated fitz. Sooooo anyway…. SOKEEFE! 2. I love love love the Marella/Maruca/Stina/Linh friend group, it’s so awesome. It’s kind of nice to see Stina making some real friends. She seems really happy about it, she’s always trying to mention that they’re her friends lol. It’s also nice to see Marella not feeling left out like she did with Sophie. I know Sophie just wanted to keep her safe and then there was the whole falling out thing, but I’m just saying. Their personalities all just go really well together. Also, I totally ship ✨Marelinh✨ 3. It is kinda sad to see Linh and her brother not getting along anymore, though. I mean, they used to be SO close! I’m glad that Linh is more confident ofc, but I think that Shannon should have left more of her sweet side too. I kinda miss that part of her. 4. WHERE IS RO??? If Shannon kills her off I will be devastated, she is by far my favorite character!! 5. THAT EVIL ENDING 🤬🤬🤬🤬 SHANNON I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE CLIFFHANGERS!!! 6. I personally think that Shannon should write a book eleven. I’m worried that she might not be able to have the same detail and quality if she has to cram all of the new information and tie everything together in one book. But that’s just me. 7. I don’t think Vespera is really dead. I agree with the theory that she made an illusion of her dead body and light leaped away. 8. Tiergan is absolutely, 100% Sophie’s biological dad. It’s so obvious!!! Shes probably going to find out in book ten…Also fun fact: the letters of Tiergan spell Granite if you mix them up and Magnate Letos last name Kerlof is Forkle! Soooo anyway that turned out to be much longer than I expected, I have way too much spare time on my hands and way to much to say about keeper! 😅 Here’s a boba for making it all the way to the bottom:🧋Anyway overall I loved this book and I CANT WAIT FOR BOOK TEN!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 Edit: Lord Hunkyhair for the win I’ve never heard of that series, but thanks for the heads up 👍 Elmo out ✌️

Right before Sophie and co. went to Elysian! Elysian is a girl. So is Ro. This can only mean one thing!!!!!!!!! RO = ELYSIAN!!!!! This is insane. I can’t believe I didn’t notice earlier!!! Wonderful!. I have read all of the Keeper books and this is by far one of my favorites! Messenger does an amazing job of portraying Sophie and her friend’s growth throughout the series. I can’t believe how far the Keeper Crew has come since book one! I highly recommend this book! Shannon Messenger doesn’t disappoint. The only complaint I have is that the book does seem to have a bit of a slow pace. It could have been faster if there wasn’t as much unnecessary content. Still a great read though! Definitely worth the money.

Good!. I really liked stellarlune! It had a different approach, there was a lot more planning and discussion than actual execution of plans or Neverseen moments I didn’t quite understand Linh’s sudden anger issues I mean she’s almost as bad as Fitz (that’s saying something) I didn’t really seem like Linh to me. She wouldn’t get that mad with her brother especially Otherwise good :)

LITERALLY THE BEST BOOK IVE EVER READ. I have 2 words for you CHAPTER 42!

I…I Have No Words (actually I have a lot of words). This book was freaking phenomenal. BUT…I have news, if you didn’t hear. …. Book 10 is delayed… …. BECAUSE… SHANNON’S HAVIN ANOTHER BABY! Maybe by the time you find this, she’ll already have the baby. But we still get the graphic novel while we wait! Alright, now onto the ACTUAL review. This book was so good! Fitz is smushed like the Ritz Cracker that he is. CHAPTER 42. Keefe is angsty. Tammy is Bangs Boi. The only part I would say I didn’t like a WHOLE ton was the part when (🚨spoiler🚨) Sophie and Oralie spent, like, 4 whole chapters drudging through the memories in the cache. AND YES, I know it was necessary for the and it was nice to see Kenric again, but seriously? Four chapters? Also, Elysian??? A person??? Come on, Shannon. Just when I thought we were done with the cliffhangers (Also, for those of you who don’t know what Elysian is, it’s basically the place in Greek Mythology where all of the heroes go when they die). OK. TIME FOR THE BEST PART. CHAPTER 42. I can’t stress ENOUGH how happy this part made me. Like, I maybe screamed a lil, idk. It was so amazing! I can’t say I was expecting it, because, well, I didn’t know Keefe was gonna come back! But the straight up FACT is that it was a miracle! This means Keefe and Sophie are officially boyfriend and girlfriend, and FITZPHIE CAN GO DIE IN EVERBLAZE FOR ALL I CARE!!! I’m super excited because I’ve been a Sokeefe shipper since reading book 2, and this makes me so happy! Alright. Wow oh wow oh wow!!. (Ps: I recommend that if you’re reading this that you have read the entire I repeat ENTIRE book before you read this review.) Ok so this is my favorite book ever! I absolutely love the humor! My favorite part of this book is when Keefe and Sophie kiss! I was so hoping these two would do so! It was a little sad to read Fitz’s feelings about this but it is still really great to find out that Keefe finally got his wish! Great job Shannon. I hope that book ten has some love in it because I am always rooting for that! It’s killing me waiting for book ten since I am so excited! Is Kenric still alive?. (Sorry if I spelled their names wrong.) In book five we find out that Fintan is still alive, and that makes sense since they didn’t find his body in the ashes. But if you remember they also didn’t find Kenric’s body either. So what if Fintan saved him and took him to the Neverseen. They would have a previous councilor with them, so it would be good for them. And then in book 10 Sophie could find out and they could save him. Then when he came back he would ask Oralie to resign, and then they would get married and Sophie could say who her mom is!!! This is just my idea I don’t know if I’m right, but everything lines up perfectly. If you think I’m right add a 🤓 to your review If I’m wrong Shannon please make me right. I want Kenric to still be alive! 😭😢

The book was fine.. So first I really like that the (SPOILER ALERT CHAPTER 42) happens and I’m very happy about it,but I have read some comments about Sophie getting bubbly around Keefe after she figures out she likes him,I know “Maybe Shannon was running low on time and rushed through or whatever “ but some people get bubbly towards their crushes I did it sometimes when I was younger with my crush so that’s my explanation I might be wrong though. Now my review on the book (SPOILERS!!!) [1] I really think that it could use some work,and yes I know that the tenth book is delayed but I think that this might help her go over the books and things she has written and fix some mistakes she made. [2] A lot of things have happened in the book,and I’ve noticed that there is barely any plot! I mean I am pretty much all for romantic books but they need good plots as well!! It’s just—-TEAM FOSTER KEEFE!! NO FITZPHIE TTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAMMMMM FOOOSSTTEER KEEFE-NOO FITZPHIE!!!!! [3] I’m going to be blunt and honest about this,some characters like Linh have lost their original personality. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Possible spoilers!! I loved this book so freaking much, Messanger never missed with this series! The characters we know and love are back and better than ever. I’m so glad Keefe is back and Sophie finally realized her feelings for him, they are the reason I breathe rn. I was jumping up and down like a little kid when they had their moment if yk what I mean!! This is possibly my favorite book in the series but it’s so debatable because they are all so amazing. Of course, the plot was kind of the same as the rest of the books and there was some slower parts but it was worth every page for not only the ending, but the characters, the new twists, and the worldbuilding. I feel like I’m in the story and I’m friends with these characters, it’s like an escape from reality. Keefe is definitely my favorite, so sad that his character has changed but I like the direction the story is heading, I wish I could give him a massive hug, he deserves Sophie and an amazing family. I hope he ends up with that. Also, I can’t believe I have to wait for the next book with a cliffhanger THIS HUGE?? The biggest secret in the lost cities and Messanger leaves us hanging like that???! Dang. Cannot wait until the next book, I’ll be preordering it immediately!!!

Honest review (SPOILERS). I mean I like Sokeefe, but everyone just called this book good just bc it happened—like here’s some things that I noticed. I used to be a superfan of the series, but I started rereading it and realizing just how badly written it is. 1. Linh just lost her entire personality and became angry for no reason. Like what? I get that you don’t like Glimmer, but she’s some weird girl now with anger issues to match Fitz. 2. Fitz also lost lots of character development…he was being really clingy towards Sophie and being angry when she told him about Keefe. Just get over it at this point… 3. Okay Sophie is just annoying “strong female character” who’s trying to be a leader and it kinda pains me. I was really excited to get this book, but now, I’m not sure that I even like the series anymore. I just reread the books now for laughs.

Hints for a big plot twist *spoilers*. The book was pretty good overall, but what I found really interesting was how it hinted at the leak in the black swan. Over the past few books, Shannon seems to be hinting that the Neverseen put listening devices of some sort at Havenfield when they infiltrated it, since the Neverseen seem know exactly what is discussed there. Shannon also seems to be hinting that Pretince knew there was a leak, and someone may have incriminated him as a result. I was somewhat surprised that book 9 had no big “aha” moments relating to those hints, but I guess it will make the next book interesting.

Heh… Spoilers ahead. So, first: I’m a Sokeefe shipper. But the way Shannon portrayed Sophie when she thought about Keefe? Sophie seemed kinda… bubbly. And I know some successful book series, like Harry Potter, involve a new thing that could be used to defeat the enemy on the final book. But Stellarlune was so… out of the blue so that it kinda seems like Shannon is running out of ideas. Also, I’m not a supporter of the whole Vespera-isn’t-really-dead theory. One, Vespera didn’t even know what Stellarlune could do. How would she portray her dead body? Two, it’d take some time for Vespera to set up the mirrors. There were no gaps in the story for her to do that, and I know you might be arguing that she could’ve set up the mirrors back when she made the illusions, but for something that specific… I’m not buying it. She’d have to stand in a specific place, etc. If you took the time to read this whole thing, congratulations. Get yourself a smoothie or something.

My Absolute Favorite!. I’ve read all of the KotLC books (including Unlocked) and this one is my favorite! I loved Chapter 42! I’m not a big fan of the cliffhangers though, but hey-at least there’s more excitement about the tenth book. The Elysian thing was unexpected, though. A person is a power source? That’s new. And I really hope that Ms. Messenger doesn’t kill Ro! In my opinion, Stellarlune could have been better if Ro was in it. -Reesa, KotLC fan
