VIPERS!!. MORE VIPERS!!! I am a super fan of this team and I have been DYING to get my hands on Dominick's book. Wow this book had so. much. angst! And I feel like I should have been prepared for that since Dom has been so standoffish whenever he's around but this was so much more than I ever could have expected. I thought I wouldn't like Dominick all that much but I was so so wrong. I'm in love. Holly is so fun and despite everything she's been through, standing on her own two feet, being the best mom, and making sure she doesn't accept less than she deserves. #Goals I loved these two together so much. I think they are exactly what the other needed most. The Vipers are such an amazing team and I can't to see where the team goes next!

Grump meets sunshine, and her son. Viper all star hockey player Dominick definitely has reason to be grumpy. This man’s family life is a great big flaming pile of messy, emotional garbage. It tore my heart out time and again. Matching him with sunny single mom Holly…mother to 10 year old hockey disaster Ben…is inspired and adorable. When community service lands Dom as the coach of Ben’s team, it doesn’t take long for the taciturn grump to feel protective about Ben. And then in turn, towards Holly. Add in a douchey ex/belittling dad, a hilariously bawdy bff (hers), a team of supportive and hunky hockey players and a ton of chemistry and we have my favorite couple of the series. I love how these two become friends and supporters of Ben way before their clothes come off. Dominick’s growth and Holly’s gentle, honest support for the man, not the player was a joy to watch. I can always count on Stacey Lynn to bring great storytelling and lovable characters to every book she writes.

Ticked all my boxes. Rule Breaker is book three in the Las Vegas Vipers and it’s a wonderful addition to this fantastic hockey series. This is Dominick ( Dom) and single mum Holly’s story and all I’m going to say is you do want to join their captivating, heartwarming journey. Dom is not your typical hockey player, he comes across as a grumpy playboy, losing his temper more often that not but underneath the walls he has built around himself is a wonderful, caring man. After spending a night in jail his team coach forces his to coach the local kids in the youth hockey league and who would have thought that a little boy named Ben would bring out the best in this grump. Being surrounded by kids is just what he needs to realise life can be fun but it’s Ben and his mum Holly that have caught this players eye so can they make Dom realise relationships can be wonderful. I loved everything about this book, in fact it’s my favourite book in the series, I fell hard and fast for Dom, I adored Holly but it was Ben who really stole my heart. If single parent romance are your jam this book should e be on your radar. Can’t wait to see what’s next for the Las Vegas Vipers.

Entertaining. Having read and loved the first book in the series I was excited to read Rule Breaker. It was everything I was expecting and more. There was romance, humour, witty banter and characters whose story you cannot help but quickly become invested in. Dominick (Dom) is not your typical hockey player. He is grumpy and does not cultivate a lot of relationships. Letting his temper get the best of him he finds himself in trouble and spending a night in jail. His penance from the team coach is that he must now coach the youth hockey league; just what he wanted to be surrounded by kids. I love single parent stories and a great match found Holly easy to like and relate to. She is the day to Dom’s night and she slowly but surely brings light into his life. Dom has demons that he has tried to put behind him for years but Holly can see beneath the grumpy exterior he shows the world. I loved these two together, add in Holly’s son Ben and I really wanted them to get their happily ever after. The chemistry between the sizzled but it was the banter and the development of their relationship that was heart warming and made me smile.
