Never say never. I love everything about this story! It’s flirty, funny, sexy, bold, and even some deep emotions going on through the entire story. So much fun reading it and I truly enjoyed every bit of it.

Susie and Brody. I enjoyed this fun and fast paced romance! It’s about two couples going hiking/camping. Susie was invited by her best friend and Brody was invited by his friend Finn. It’s an enemies to lovers romance and it’s funny and interesting to read how their relationship progresses. I would definitely recommend this book! For everyone who loves a witty romance.

Great Read. Brody is a famous ball player at the top of his game. He is used to everyone wanting his time and attention. Susie is working hard to make a living in New York City. She is not interested in dealing with some jock and his ego. When these two are invited on a camping trip by their best friend's they must learn to get along. Can these two opposites find some common ground to keep the weekend from being a bust? Raw and real, Cooper knocked it out of the park. Still the fun banter we know and love but with some deep emotions to work through and share. Love that we get to see Brody open up and show his true self. Cooper writes likeable characters with depth. I received a review copy of this book from the author. I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Enemies to Lovers. This book is the 2nd in the series. I felt it was better then the 1st in the series, can’t wait until the 3rd. Brody and Susie go on a camping trip with their best friends and get stuck together. Brody is tall, rich, and a big shot pitcher for the New York Yankees. Susie is not impressed with him at all and feels he is egotistical. He says inappropriate comments to her, making her more and more disgusted with him. He does start to opening up to her on the trip and they become friends and then end up with more. You should read this story for the laughter and the tears. I was given an advanced copy of this book and this is my honest review.

I couldn’t put this book down!. I loved every second of reading this book! So much so I knocked it out in a matter of hours! Sometimes it’s easy to see how the things of our past can color how we see things in our present. This book has so much more hidden behind a love story that I honestly can’t express how much I loved it enough! The banter between Susie and Brody was entertaining to say the least! Watching the rollercoaster that was these two coming together is definitely worth every second spent reading every word! 10/10 would recommend! J.S Cooper is quickly rising to the top of my favorite authors.

Fun and entertaining. A great read. It’s fun with some angst. It will hook you from the beginning with its fun characters, the banter and undeniable chemistry. It’s entertaining and lighthearted. A great addition to the series.

Couldn’t put it down. Loved it!! Talk about breaking down the walls and really getting to know someone. From the playful don’t like you but really like you flirting to the story behind why Brody Wainwright is the way he is this book does not disappoint and J. S Cooper does it again!

Don’t waste your money. I have really enjoyed other books by this author but this was one was very juvenile. Hard to believe it was a setting for adults. Not for me for sure. Regrets for wasting money on it.

Enjoyable. Wonderful humor, interesting characters, and an entertaining storyline made for a delightful read. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I requested a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing a review.

Tentmates. Susie Benedict and Brody Wainwright are great characters who truly know how to push each other’s buttons. I enjoyed their sparring of words and flirtation. I laughed a little and wanted to smack this cocky know-it-all jock often, and though Brody is his own self destructor, will will find yourself rooting for him in the end. One favorite part of this book for me was a text among Susie’s girlfriends Marcia, Shantel and Lilian, who were in the previous book, “P.S. NEVER IN A MILLION YEATS.” They had me laughing and I am sure will continue in the next book of the series “P.S. LOSE THIS NUMBER”, Lilian’s book.

Home Run!. Susie was a little firecracker and Brodie wasn’t quite sure what to do with her. I loved their banter and Susie not putting up with Brody’s nonsense. Her supporting him when he didn’t truly deserve it was a turning point in their relationship and I’m so glad they got their HEA.

The camping trip. Susie is on a camping trip to California with her best friend, her friend’s fiancé and the fiancé’s best friend, Brody. Susie is not thrilled to be camping, sleeping in a tent with Brody, and hiking. Brody is a cocky professional baseball pitcher and has a reputation as a playboy. Susie is still looking for a good job in New York City and her friends tease her about her new job. Brody is arrogant and flirts with Susie but she is looking for love like her friend has found and let’s Brody know that she wouldn’t get involved with him if he was the last man on earth! As they spend time together on the trip will they grow closer and will Susie rethink a possible relationship with Brody? I loved this story where we got to know Susie and her passion for storytelling as she tries to figure out what she wants to do in life. We also get to know Brody and see behind his carefree playboy facade and find out that he has issues that need to be resolved from his past. I especially loved reading about the long hike and the city girls’ reaction to their strenuous climb. The author did a fantastic job developing the characters and the bonus chapter was a great ending for their story. I look forward to the next book about Susie’s friend. Amazing!. I loved reading Susie and Brodys story! It’s funny, sweet and a challenge. J.S. Cooper is one of my favorite authors and this book did not disappoint!!

Great book. I recommend this book because it was funny and quirky while also pulling on my heart for his loss. I enjoyed the friendship between both characters and fact that they are there for each other. Definitely worth reading!!!

It has plenty of emotion, romance, and a whole lot of steam. Brody and Susie were explosive together! Their sassy, sarcastic banter with each other was witty and light-hearted. It had me anxiously waiting for Brody and Susie to finally realize they were in love! The chemistry between the two is so HOT once it finally was ignited!❤️‍🔥 This is the second book in the Cupid In The City series. I recommend you put this series high on your wishlist. Enjoyed. This storyline is entertaining and well worth reading. The easy flow of the storyline kept me entertained throughout the pages. The characters are engaging and the chemistry undeniable although they tried fighting the pull they felt for each other. I received a copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Amazing story. I received this book through Bookfunnel and this is my honest review. This is a wonderful story by JS Cooper. This was a great story with a great storyline and amazing chemistry between Susie and Brody. Susie realizes there is more to Brody than the playboy that he pretends to be. The bicker back and forth. Brody has a history that he doesn't like to talk about, but Susie turns out to be a great listener. This is a page turning story and must be read.

Loved it. Loved the bickering banter between Susie and Brody! He loved to get on nerves and loved that she blantly didn’t know who he was nor did she care. What she did know was in equal parts she wants to choke him and kiss him and it’s driving her mad lol. Such a cute story

Enemies to Lover’s. Have you ever met someone who drove you so crazy that you wanted to hate them? Well from the first time Susie met Brody he rubbed her every wrong way possible. If he could find a way to irritate her he did and seeing as he was the best friend of her best friends boyfriend, he was not going away anytime soon. But what is it they say about opposites attracting? Is it possible that Susie can really like Brody? Is there a reason that Brody is so self-centered and arrogant? Could he have feelings for Susie? I absolutely loved the character dialogue between these two, it will keep you going all the way to the end. Plus I can’t wait to see what happens with the next book in the series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Brody and Susie. Wow J.S. Cooper has done it again. Brody Wainwright is hot. Every woman wants to be with him. Susie the best friend of Brody’s best friend. Brody being the cocky sports figure he is gets on Susie’s nerves. Brody has issues from his past and doesn’t know how not to be a jerk. If you want to see how the relationship between Brody and Susie turns out you must read this book

What a turnaround. Great.. Brody is a hound dog and the love them and leave them kind of guy. Never gets serious with anyone. He has so many demons inside his brain that no one knows about but they are keeping him from getting close to anyone. The first time Susie tells him that she wouldn’t be with him if he was the last man on earth, he doesn’t even flinch. He knows he’s bad, treats women as conquests, but there is some thing about Susie that tickles his fancy. Watching Brody change from an insecure man to facing his challenges and moving forward with his life is a delight to read. What a great, great book.

Redemption. I enjoyed reading this book. He was the guy you really want to hate, but there is just something about him. He had a tragedy in his life when he was younger and acts the way he does to protect his heart. It takes meeting her for him to realize life does go on and he can be happy. Would definitely recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

Please read. I have to laugh at this story. Brody and Susie are comical and the attraction if crazy. But he has his own demons to slay in his mind before he thinks they can have a relationship. In comes Susie, always forgiving him until he stood her up for breakfast. But love always finds a way back.

Not that great.. Almost didn’t finish this. Hero was just such a jerk and the heroine not far behind. For adults, this read like teenagers. Not impressed.

Last man on earth. When Susie meets Brody through her best friends boyfriend, sparks ignite!! These two bicker and banter like a married couple. Susie sees a side to Brody that no one else sees. But he has some shields up and Susie isn’t sure why he pushes her away. Can she be the one to open his heart or will he push her too far?

Great series! Love the characters!. Brody is the big shot pitcher for the New York Yankees! Susie is not impressed with him at all! He keeps saying inappropriate thigs to her, making her more and more disgusted with him. Finn talks to him because since Susie is his girlfriends best friend, and Brody is Finn's best friend, they are going to have to get along! Since Brody and Susie are sleeping in the same tent, which she is not happy with at all, Brody calls a truce. He starts to open up to her, and she begins to see that he carries a lot of hurt. So they strike up an odd friendship. Brody has some demons from his past that he hasn't dealt with, which causes a lot of problems between him and Susie. But Susie has a lot of compassion, and she can see the truth in Brody's eyes. So she keeps giving him chances. I really loved this book! You should read this story for yourself for the laughter and the tears! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Love this story. What an absolutely enjoyable story. Susie is a self assured take no crap girl that does her best friend a favor by going on a camping trip with her and her friends new boyfriend. Enter Brody, Finn’s best friend. Brody is a cocky jock that thinks he’s gods gift Women. They end up having to share a tent and you’ll love to watch as these two banter back and forth. You won’t be able to put this book down until the very end!

Loved it. I really enjoyed reading this book. I thought it had a great storyline and it catches you right from the beginning. It was a well written story. I loved the banter in the book, i thought the steam was great and it was overall a fun read. definitely one i would recommend.

Love between enemies. I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review. This book was so much fun, and I absolutely loved Brody, demons and all. Susie was pretty cool too, because she could see the true Brody even with his cockiness, and attitude. They meet while camping with her close friend and her friends boyfriend. Unfortunately they start off on the wrong foot, due to the degrading comments that Brody directed to Susie. She starts seeing the hurt in his eyes, and begins to like him. Brody in the process also begins to like Susie, but he is scared to show his true feelings. They begin to relax with each other, and form a friendship of tolerance. Brody suddenly gets scared, that his friends will find out about the reason for his demons, so he leaves them to fly to LA, to attend a party. At the party, things are not as they used to be, and he leaves to fly back home. He doesn’t show up on his plans to take Susie to breakfast, and instead gets drunk. This is his turning point to decide to tell Finn, Marcia, and Susie about his guilty conscience that he suffers with. After his revelations, Brody and Susie begin a relationship which ends in their HEA. I’ve read several books written by J. S. Cooper, and I’ve loved everyone, but this one was one of her very best. It had wonderful characters, lust, romance, angst, friendship, and a beautiful HEA. I highly recommend this book.

Camping fun. I received this book as an Arc. I loved this book! The characters were amazing. I loved Susie in the other book , so I was happy when she got her own story. Too bad Brody was such a cocky jerk. Fun times on a camping trip when you want to hurt your tent mate. Susie and Brody have a bumpy start but after trials and mishaps goes love warm them up to a new understanding of each other? A great series that gives more insight into this group of friends.

Brody +Susie = home run!!. Brody and Susie are a steamy hot read! Brody is the cocky guy you start out thinking you’re going to hate.. then he does something sweet and makes you love him…. then he does something stupid to try and make you hate him again… and then goes all sweet again. #the Brody coaster!! The banter between Brody and Susie had me laugh throughout this book! I definitely recommend this series and I can’t wait for the next book!

Never judge a book. This is a continuation of Marcia and Finns camping trip, involving their best friends Susie and Brody. It contains humour, little bit of drama and of course heat. Brody comes across as a bit of a player but there are hidden depths to him and Susie is a clever enough woman to see through his b.s. she begins to understand why he is how he is and they soon fall for each other. It’s a beautiful enemies to lovers relationship which I enjoyed following to their hea conclusion. I always enjoy Miss coopers style of writing and this one did not disappoint. I received this arc in exchange for an honest review. Job done I say. Can’t wait for Cupid number 3.

Absolutely Amazing Read. This is book two in The Cupid in The City Series and it is Susie and Brody story and omg it is definitely a must read. Susie goes on a camping trip with her best friend Marcia and her boyfriend Finn only to find out that they have invited Finn's best friend Brody and to top it all off Susie will have to share a tent with Brody and she is not happy about it as he is obnoxious, loud, arrogant, takes nothing serious and thinks that he is God's gift to women because he is a famous baseball player but even though he is very handsome Susie is determined that she will not be going there and can't wait to get home so that she will never have to see him again. Brody thought Susie was not only beautiful, funny, sassy, intelligent, vibrant, special, like no other woman that he has ever met, seems to see people beyond what they show, didn't put on airs and graces and he loved reading her to get a reaction but Brody was concerned that Susie could see right through how he acts and also see his vulnerability so he will have to be careful around her and not let his.guard down. Omg I absolutely loved the banter between Susie and Brody and I laughed so much and then the was there chemistry which was so hot and intense that you could feel it sizzling of the pages and I thought at times that it would kept my kindle. Even though this book had a lot of laughter it also had emotional situations that had you in tears and I couldn't put it down as it had me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next and what the outcome would be for them all. I definitely recommend you read this book and others by J. S. Skipped through last half of story. I read the sample and thought it was good, but really I wasn’t that impressed. I skipped/skim read the last half of the book. The male lead didn’t seem real at all and it was hard to believe the story.

Susie & Brody!. When Susie agreed to go on a camping trip with her best friend Marcia and her boyfriend Finn she wasn't aware that it would include sharing a tent with Finn's best friend. From their first meeting the sparks of antagonism flew as she believed him to be a player both on and off the field. Brody is a baseball player who is accustomed to woman falling for his charm and he believes the same will hold true for Susie, but he couldn't be more wrong. She has a way of challenging him like no other will he let her breakthrough the walls he has built around himself or will he push her away? The interaction between Susie and Brody were humorous and they were drawn to each other despite the fact that both were trying to deny it. I enjoyed seeing the evolution of Brody's character as he finally gives into his feelings and realizes what they could have together.

Opposites attract at its best. Just love this new book in this wonderful series, a story with lots of quiproquo, tension, misunderstandings, you will get you hooked by their explosive chemistry, on the first chapter. An opposite attract relationship between two people from different world in a wonderful setting well with their two best friends, you are in for a fantastic read.that collided The relationships between and doesn’t exactly started on a good note, rocky would be more like it. Funny! Emotional! Enticing!. Brody and Susie’s story has the perfect balance of bickering and bantering and the FEELS. This storyline has humorous beginning but slowly changes into an intense emotional discovery. When you open your heart to love you can learn to heal. These characters are charismatic and passionate.
