Adorable and sexy story!. This last book in the Kingsmen series was absolutely adorable and sexy!!! I have always liked Chase and now he just made me fall harder! Twyla is just adorable to me and I loved their spark! Although this was somewhat of a forbidden romance I felt it played out really well. I got worried there a minute but was glad to see it all work out! I also loved seeing past characters again! Lee and Brady will always hold a special place to me, especially Lee and Shayna since they where we started!

Great Grumpy/Sunshine romance. This is the third in the Kingsmen Football Stars series and it features two of my favorite tropes, Grumpy/Sunshine and teammate/friend’s little sister. Chase Andrews is a professional football player, and has had a crush on his teammate’s sister Twyla. Problem is, in the prior books, Twyla was engaged to someone else. Twyla’s fiancé calls off the wedding to be with someone else, so Twyla takes a job as a pet sitter is San Francisco to lick her wounds. Of course, her gig happens to be across the hall from Chase. Chase and Twyla are very sweet characters and I loved that there was a building of their relationship beyond just the physical. This is a really enjoyable read. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for my honest review.

I love the Kingsmen!!!. Another 5-star read/listen in the Kingsmen Football series!! I absolutely love this group of characters and Chase and Twyla only added to the feeling. This is a great best-friends-little-sister story and it was done in a way that I always hope for when reading this trope. I truly felt the chemistry between the two and theirs is the perfect blend of a sweet and spicy romance. I was a little sad about what happened with Miles at the end but just like always, Piper Rayne has me hooked for the next book in this series!! I did read and listen to this one and as always, the narration was off the charts good and brings another whole dimension to the story. Bring on Miles and Bryce!!

Loved Chase and Twalia. Over My Brothers Dead Body is the 3rd book in the Kingsmen Football Series. It’s a standalone but in the first two books you get glimpses of these two characters. If you love a good football, celebrity, grumpy sunshine, forbidden, opposites attract, close proximity, brothers best friend this is the story for you. Twalia was running from her past. She moved to San Francisco trying to find herself, looking for a fresh start. Chase a tight end for the Kingsmen Football team, and he has been secretly pinning for Twalia for years, but would never admit it. Nothing like a kitty named Zeus to bring them together as friends. They slowly start to let their walls down while getting to know each other. They can read each other so we’ll at times, but then are scared to share how they feel. There is push, pull, chemistry, protectiveness, bar fights, attraction, galas, book club dates, football games, dates, teammates, supportiveness and love. Loved getting to see the other characters from previous books in the story. The book was narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke. This is the first time listening to them together but they kept me engaged, they both did good in showing the characters vulnerability through out the story. Great read and listen

She had been jilted by her ex and went to visit her brother. Then the love happens between Chase and Twyla . This was a very special book and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did .

5 bright and shiny stars. Best story of the series for this reader! And I adored the other two. But Chase and Twyla, who’s story has been hinted at since book one, were my very favorite couple. Grumpy/ sunshine is my current favorite trope, has been for quite a while now. In combination with my all-time favorite trope, brother’s best friend…and I’m drowning in a puddle of lust. Slightly surly, big & brawny Chase is no match for the sweetly bright & bubbly Twyla, who’s still spreads happiness while getting over a broken engagement. And now to be living with Chase without overprotective brother Miles around…Game. On. I loved the marshmallow center of this quiet, growly hockey player, paired with the cat loving sweetheart. From the sexy stuff to the funny dialogue, I was in heaven. I’m sad to see the series end, but I love the glimpse as to what…and who…comes next. I’m waiting…(im)patiently.

So fun. Gosh, I’m going to miss the Kingsman football series but what a way to end it. Rhee’s something about the grumpy but oh so sweet hero that gets to me and Chase is the epitome of a wonderful hero. He has liked Twyla since the beginning but her being a teammate’s sister means that she is off limits. Until she moves next door temporarily, that is. Plenty of fun and hijinks, plenty of laughs and so many swoons. And through it all, the supporting cast of characters I have grown to love made this a must read for me!

Chase and Twyla. I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the last book in the series, and I have loved this series so much, so I am sad it's the last one. But here is the good news. We get a whole other football team and the first book stars Miles. In this book we get to know Miles' younger sister Twyla. She has made appearances in other books, so we pretty much know her story going in. But in this book, she moves to town and ends up as Chase's neighbor. Chase is a quiet, introverted, loner type of football player and he has secretly crushed on Twyla when she visited her brother. She was always safe to crush on because she has been engaged. Now she has been humiliated by her ex and decides to move to San Franscisco and do some house sitting and she becomes Chases new neighbor. This is a bit of a forbidden romance as Miles does not want Twyla dating Chase. In all honesty Chase is this awesome, generous, and pretty wonderful guy. He doesn't even date, he does have occasional hookups. This was a really adorable story. It had laughs, hijinks and shenanigans and best of all I loved this couple. They are not perfect, but they were really perfect for each other and really get each other.

Brothers best friend. In the third and final book of the Kingsmen series, Chase is the tight end of the team. The grumpy and quiet one who plays with Twyla’s brother, Miles on the team. Twyla’s fiancé breaks up with her and finally Chase who does like her but hasn’t made a move because of Miles see his chance. This was a cute. How they moved from friendship to a relationship. A sports, brothers friend, and a grumpy sunshine. I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

Just couldn’t get into it. I really just didn’t feel this one. Lost me completely with the bathroom scene. I love Piper Rayne books, but this one just didn’t work for me.

Plenty of LOL and Plenty of Sizzle!. This is third book in the Kingsman football series, and a perfect example of classic Piper Rayne romantic comedy. When pathologically overprotective big brother, Miles asks his friend and teammate, Chase, to take his sister Mia to the annual charity gala, he inadvertently opens a door to a mutual crush between the two. Since Mia took on a house sitting position across the hall from Chase, it precipitates a slowly evolving friendship between the two. This is a romance novel so anyone can guess what happens next. There are so many sweet moments between the two as grumpy Chase Andrews falls head over heels for sunshine Mia. There are also plenty of laugh out loud moments and plenty of sizzle. Anyone notice how all these athletes in romance novels only have incredibly gorgeous friends who are all amazing lovers? The mold isn’t broken in this story either. If you like romcoms, Piper Rayne, and sports romances, I highly recommend that you give this book a read or a listen. Good story. So much better than the previous book in the series - really enjoyed this story

Ticked all my boxes. I have to say this series and the men of the Kingsman Football Team are fast becoming my favourite reads of the year. I have loved every book I have picked up this series and I know as soon as a new release happens I’m in for an entertaining and emotional journey with characters I will fall hook, line and sinker for. This is Chase Andrews and Twyla’s story and boy do they have a captivating tale to tell. Chase and Twyla tried their hardest to fight the attraction they both felt because crossing the line could cause so many problems after all her brother is Chase’s friend and teammate and that means she should be off limits. But we can’t always control what our heart wants so what happens when lines are crossed ….one click to find out. Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke really did this wonderful story justice, they were spot on with the banter and they brought the characters and their journey to life. I found their voices easy to listen to and I could picture the characters as I listened. As you would expect from the very talented writing duo of Piper Rayne this book has a lot going for it. It’s witty, it’s emotional, it’s entertaining and it has wonderful characters but more importantly it’s beautifully written. Wonderful read and wonderful listen.

Loved it. The Kingsmen Football Stars has quickly become another favourite series by the talented duo of Piper & Rayne. I know I am in for an emotional, witty beautifully written story that will leave me with a smile on my face and more often than not, laughing out loud. I am not sure how they come up with the titles for this series but I love them. Over My Brother's Dead Body, Chase Andrews ticked all the boxes for me. From the first chapter to the last I was totally hooked on Chase and Twyla’s story. There were moments where I wanted to smack Miles (Twyla’s brother and Chase’s teammate) across the back of the head and tell him to keep out of his sisters’ life, but his interference is based on love and comes from a good place. He was just a bit too involved in Twyla’s life at times and that frustrated me. I loved the journey that these two embarked on. They both tried so hard to ignore the sizzling attraction that sparked between them but the heart wants who the heart wants and once they crossed the line, all bets were off. The banter was witty, the chemistry scorching, the camaraderie and interference by the other players who all have an opinion just added to my enjoyment of the story. I also loved how Twyla could see beneath the grumpy exterior that Chase shows the world to the caring and loving man he truly was. The narration by Savannah Peachwood and one of my favourite male narrators Jason Clarke did justice to this entertaining story and brought the characters to life for me. Their voices are pleasant and easy to listen to and their portrayal of the characters engaging.

Twyla transforms Chase from a grump to a teddy bear!. A truly amazing book! I could not put it down. I love Twyla and Chase! I am so glad you paired them together. Miles is right Twyla was not suited to Mathew. Piper and Rayne you both outdid yourselves with this book! The parts of the book that were downright hilarious was Chase hosting an engagement party for Brady and Violet against his will and when he rescues the kitten with Twyla and he is not happy caring for it initially. It is so adorable that Twyla and little Zeus, the kitten turn the grumpy and quiet Chase into a teddy bear!

Unputdownable and highly entertaining!. This book. Unputdownable and highly entertaining, a sports romance with heart and steam! I devoured it and didn’t want it to end. Chase Andrews may be a player for the Kingsmen football team but this private, grumpy man is quite the teddy bear! When his best friend Miles’s sister moves in next door, can he keep his crush to himself? Lets just say the storyline was so good, I had a hard time having to deal with reality and putting the book down. Twyla hasnt had the best experience with men, especially coming out of a cancelled wedding and who can blame her for how she feels. Coming to San Francisco to be near her brother, was probably the best thing she could do to get away. I wholeheartedly loved everything about this story. It touched my heart and although this is the last book in the Kingsmen series, the authors have certainly outdone themselves with the storyline. A must read in my opinion! Go grab it for yourself!

4 1/2 Stars for this sweet steamy romance!. This is my favorite book of the series! I laughed so hard at the part when the cat ran into the living room ... you'll know the part I'm talking about (I don't want to wreck the story by saying more). The chemistry between Chase and Twyla is so hot that it could burn the pages ... those steamy scenes were STEAMY! The banter between the characters felt so at ease, it felt like I was right there in the story with them. I'm sad that this series is ending, but it's kinda not because Myles's (Twyla's brother) story will start off a new series - YEAH! When Twyla's fiancé dumps her, she decides to go to California where her brother plays football for the Kingsmen to lick her wounds for the three-month leave she took from her job. She takes on a house and cat sitting job only to find that her brother's team mate lives next door. She always thought Chase was a big hulking hottie, but she loved her fiancé so she ignored him. But now she could take advantage of looking at him all she wants. Chase always thought Twyla was like sunshine ... only she was already engaged and she is his friend's little sister, so he kept her in his dreams. But now that she's no longer engaged and she lives next door ... well, that takes everything in a whole new direction. I received an early copy courtesy of Valentine PR.

The duet narration was a great way to bring all of the characters and the story to life.
