Worth the anticipation. I’ve been anticipating this book since reading Devil's Lair and Angel's Cage and the story did not disappoint! Also, I’m a huge fan of this type of storytelling as I prefer when writers use this format in order to tell a story while maintaining as much suspense as possible. Well done. Absolutely Loved It ❤️. I absolutely loved Terrible Beauty by Anna Zaires. I have been waiting for this book after I read the Molotov Obsession duet. This book was everything i hoped for it to be and more. It had a wonderful storyline and amazing characters that I couldn’t help but fall in love with them. Alexei Leonov and Alina Molotov were linked together by destiny or fate, no matter how hard she fought it she was drawn to him. She fought so hard not to want him because she was afraid he was like her father, cold and hard. When in fact he’s been in love with her since they first met. I can’t wait to the next book in the series to see how they fall in love together and get their happily ever after.

The Queen of dark romance!. Anna Zaires continues to be the queen of dark romance with this beginning of Alina and Alexei’s story. It starts with Alexei having already drugged Alina and taken her to a boat somewhere unknown. We’re slowly revealed the tangled history between the two of them as the book flips between the present and the past. Alexei has been obsessed with Alina for over 10 years, biding his time until he could make her his. He’s always been keeping tabs on every detail of her life. When Alina discovers she is to be betrothed to Alexei in order to bring peace between two powerful families she’s determined to not let it come to pass. However, Alexei is a man who will go to tremendous lengths to get what he wants, especially the woman he views as his. Now that he has her, what’s going to happen between them? Alina can’t fight the chemistry between them. She says she hates him but her body responds to him in a way she can’t control. Will Alina keep battling her feelings for him? Does Alexei feel anything for her or is he just using her for his own reasons?

The Price of Beauty. I don’t know what I was expecting but this wasn’t it. This was better! It started in the past and then would jump to present day, then the past and present day again. Slowly the past and present of Alina Molotov collide. I loved how that was done. You get to see the who, what, when, where and why of the Molotov Family. You also see the obsession that starts with Alexei over Alina. It was intense, tragic, and makes you want more! The only downside is now I have to wait for the next book. Anna Zaires has a way of drawing you into a story and holding you there until the last word is read and then you are begging for more. Emotional Roller Coaster Ride!. This book tells the story of Alina and her tumultuous relationship with Alexei. I wasn’t sure how this story would tie in to the previous installments but as always Anna is brilliant at weaving tales and this story gives more depth and insight to the whole Molotov family. I love how complicated yet strong Alina is in spite of all the tragedies she suffered. I especially love the dark antihero Alexei and his undying devotion to Alina. The intense feelings they share and the cat and mouse games they play leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what’s next?. Loved it. This was a good bad. I love the characters and the chemistry.

The best wild ride. If you love a romantic suspense then this story is for you! This time Anna takes us on a wild ride with Alina and Alexei’s story. Anna weaves their story by giving us their past history so that we can understand their present situation. I love this type of story telling because we get the full picture of these two characters and their complicated relationship. At times I was like run girl but then other times I was wishing for Alina to give in. I’m rooting for these two to make it so much! Anna works her magic once again! Can’t wait for the next book!!. Terrible Beauty was thrilling!. 4.5 rounding up The tension between Alina and Alexei was thrilling and palpable! I wasn’t sure I was going to appreciate this author’s choice of storytelling device, but I realized it made me turn pages faster wanting to know what was going to happen next. I felt for Alina, and once she admitted the truth to herself I liked her even more. I loved Alexi’s determination and possessiveness, and I found it smoking hot! I definitely recommend this book if you love forced proximity and possessive men, and I can’t wait to read the next part of their story! I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Off the charts!. This is Alina’s story. Beware this is also Book 1; it ends with a cliffhanger! Alina sacrifices herself for her family and returns with Alexei. We finally see how and why these two are intertwined! They have been betrothed for years, and Alina denies it. Her family history dictates a life of suffering she does not want. However, Alexei is ruthless and obsessed with her. He has her back after all these years, and what is now the intent? I cannot wait for Beautiful Chains! I am obsessed with Anna Zaires’ books. She is worth the read. Her stories are full of chemistry and alpha male romances!❤️

Argh!!. LOVE that I finally got to hear her story! But now I can’t wait to hear the rest of it! I really hope the next book comes out soon! I finished this book in one day!!!

Unputdownable. Terrible Beauty is the first book in the duet and it captivating and addictive dark romance. The writing is flawless and spell bonding with an intriguing and gripping plot and complex characters. The story spans over 11 years and we get glimpses of both the past and the present. Alexi and Alina are betrothed. Alina doesn’t want to marry or be attracted to Alexai but she just can’t help it. I was intrigued by Alexai. He was possessive, mysterious with so many layers. When I thought I had him figured out he threw me another curveball . I don’t want to give any spoilers but this story is a roller coaster ride. Once you start it pulls you right in and it’s hard to put it down. I am on edge on how they journey would end & wanted to read the next book as soon as I finished this one but I will have to wait. Definitely a must read!
