Sooooo good!. A book you won’t want to put down. A fast paced romance thriller that is a page turner you will want to read in one sitting. Edge and Skye are coworkers and both ex military that work well together, but they do have some sexual tension between them. When Skye sister Callie has been off the grid for 2 months, Skye promises her stepmother to check out Callie’s last know location. Edge offers to go with for support and backup. When they scout out the commune / cult there is more to it then either one realizes. The whole Blackhawk Security coworkers get involved and the story flows wonderfully. This is the third in the series, but definitely can be a standalone. Now I want to read the previous books. Thank you NetGalley for this eARC. Undeniable attraction!. This was a story of two competent and formidable former military personnel who had gone through some tough times, both physical and mental. Both Edge and Skye had their reasons to be reluctant to start any kind of relationship, either physical or emotional. Skye’s physical injury had left her feeling undesirable as a woman and Edge’s wrongful dishonorable discharge made trusting someone difficult. They both find that their skills and undeniable attraction to each other override their reluctance. It was nice that both Edge and Skye could handle whatever came at them, both the known enemy and their own doubts about love.

Best one yet. This is the 6th book by Kat Martin I’ve read. I think by far it’s the best! Lots of action, several intertwined plots, it just kept me on the edge of my seat. The cult, the arms dealing, drug labs, all seemed believable and ripped from the headlines.
