A second chance storyline that is everything!. Wow! What a phenomenal read! This second chance storyline will put you through a gamut of emotions. All the feels and chemistry so hot, you won’t be able to put this one down. Yasmen and Josiah’s journey isn’t without heartbreak and you can’t help but root for them. Kennedy Ryan’s writing style is so poetic and descriptive that if feels like you are experiencing the story along with the characters. A must read.

OH MY GOODNESS. Ughhhhh. So upset I read it so quick. I read this book in one night (maybe 6-7 hours). No pauses or anything. It’s so amazing. The details and the back and forth point of views made it so much more easier to get deeply involved 🤭. I felt as I were both characters and I absolutely loved it. * also just read it again this time over a longer span.. love it even more when I paid more attention and could just think and reflect on it *

Must read. It’s been very few books I’d give 5 stars to but this book is a true testament that you can sometimes come back from nothing. We can truly never say never.

Wow!! Great read.. So this book in the beginning was slow for me and not even in a bad way I was still enjoying the story but once in the middle and to the end. I really enjoyed this book. The story. The characters, the therapy, the loss. Everything!! I’m so glad I read this.

Love Wins. This was an excellent story about how hard it can be to love and lose. Josiah and Yasmen built a life together and a thriving business, but in the midst of building their lives together, they suffered great tragedies that cost them almost everything, including their sanity. I liked how the book was told from both of their perspectives. It really showcases how differently people think and react when they are faced with life changing things. This book also covers the importance of therapy, particularly in the lives of Black Americans, who in the past, felt like therapy was not necessary. This is a love story and you will find yourself rooting for this couple to win at love.

10/10 GOODNESS GRACIOUS. I truly have no words for how AMAZING this book was! Kennedy Ryan’s imagery is captivating - I truly felt like I was a fly on the wall in every scene, either experiencing frustration, grief, relief, joy, or deep desire and arousal. 10/10 recommend

Amazing. I haven’t cried this much reading a book in such a long time. This was such a heartbreaking journey but also so hopeful. From the start I didn’t want to put this down. It’s been some time since I’ve read a book by Kennedy Ryan but this story reminded why I love her writing so much. I felt every single thing that these characters felt and was immediately connected to the whole family.

5 stars and nothing less!. It’s actually very rare that I ever give a book 5 stars but everything about this book was amazing .. if you love a good romance book, don’t even ask questions - Go read it!
